So close to our B&B We have never walked over before and have been coming for years. Nice place to sit and have a drink. Next time we will wait until music starts at 7. Margarita was very good and had cider beer for my husband. We sat on outside patio and was very comfortable since all the doors were not open. They do serve food and snacks, so maybe next visit we will try something to eat. Parking looked limited unless your staying at motel. Which I'm not sure I would. It may have been redone but I'm loving our B&B around the bend. A middle aged lady was really nice and showed us to patio. Waitress was young and ok. She asked for card to start tab but after she walked off I realized we shouldn't have. We paid cash for our drinks. Next time we will think before handing over our card. read more

They were border line rude during every encounter. Brought us the wrong drink then seemed put off when we asked for the correct one. When paying the bill they made irritated noises while I was putting in payment on the device. I guess I was taking too long? Sat and waited 50 minutes for food in a nearly empty restaurant before we walked out and went to McDonald's. Their menu on the table states there's a 20% charge on walk outs. I assume it's because they take so long and people get frustrated and leave all the time. Either they need more hands in the kitchen or better help. Our food wasn't even in the oven. Visiting for the week, Leaving 2 days early. Monday night and an average band was playing and we were only there because some locals at The Rowdy Beaver told us to see the band. I went up to order drinks after already starting a tab. I waited 10 mins at the front of the bar, two female bartenders and one male looked me dead in the eyes and walked away. A regular walked up behind me and one of the three made him a drink before he asked for it. Stayed down the street from the Wanderloo, so we just walked up for dinner and drinks. Cool vibe. Little noisy outside and since we had the dog, we didn't want him to get all nuts. Sat inside and he just hunkered down and behaved. Took a while to get served but once we did, was pretty fast. Had some drinks. The food was okay. Queso was think and yummy, but salsa was like watery tomatoes. Hummus was good but pita was a little dried out. Grilled cheese - looked good but friend was looking for more simple. Mediterranean Salad - Good with tons of stuff in it. Cordon Bleu Flatbread - Not bad. Tasty and cheesey and I added the queso to kick it up a notch. We bought a bunch of stickers from the gift shop. Pretty dang expensive for a meal for two. We spent the same amount at "The Grotto" the night before, which in my opinion is WAY better and higher end. Fire roasted salsa is out of a can....tri-color chips, out of a bag, and small pieces. Charged extra to sub turkey on a Reuben, instead of corned beef....(not mentioned on the menu). They ask for a card up front to run a tab, but then charge you 4.73% to tab out.....the extra charge isn't mentioned in an obvious way..... Way understaffed to handle the whole place. One cook and one bartender.....so everything took forever. Tried to tell the server everything we needed while he was there......a couple of requests he forgot. Overall....would be hard pressed to return to spend another $100 for two. Overpriced for a casual bar and grill. read more

This bar/ restaurant / live music venue is inside of a renovated house that that also serves as a front desk and gift shop for the Wanderoo Lodge that is also part of the property. I immediately fell in love with this place as soon as I sat down at the bar. The staff was as friendly as they were entertaining as were many of the dogs that are allowed. We unknowingly arrived in Eureka Springs on Diversity weekend, which only added to the celebratory atmosphere and friendly clientele. We didn't eat here, but did indulge in several of the 10 craft tap beers. The Two Term Double IPA from Diamond Bear Brewing from Little Rock was 9.9 ABV and got me in the party spirit very quickly. I then switched over to Yuengling - another beer unavailable at home. I soon moved out to the covered deck for some great modern bluegrass / Americana from a local band The Lonesome Narrows. The owner David was a great guy and kept a close eye on keeping things running efficiently - a perfect proprietor. The next day was Easter Sunday and they had more music and an over-the-top Easter Bonnet parade and judging. A perfect bar and just 100 feet from my motel room. Best bar in Eureka and one the best anywhere. read more

My fiancé and I were visiting Arkansas for the first time and wound up at the Gravel Bar our first night in town. We came for a quick dinner on a Thursday night and had no idea we were walking into the hottest spot that night in Eureka Springs! The live band was so fun, we ended up staying long after dinner to dance and talk to local people. We stayed at the Wanderoo Lodge (great value / recommend) and can't stress enough how awesome it was to have this place right across the parking lot. The bartenders were all great, and the craft beer selection is really good. Our room wasn't quite ready the first day we arrived a little early, so we waited in the bar. We found out the town is largely a cash town for everything from parking to food and the bartender broke a large bill for us. Later that night after going out of the town, we stopped in for another beverage. The next night they had live music, people started arriving about an hour early so we hurried over with about 30 minutes to go and grabbed a table in the small room next to the deck/patio where the band was setup. The servers were Johnny on the spot with drinks and food, checking in and making sure everyone was taken care of. The music was awesome, and the band was local, you could tell there were a lot of locals there, it wasn't just those of us staying there. A few things to note if you're staying at the motel. The locals DO come to this place on the live music night and a lot of them were taking motel parking spots. I was thinking how much it would suck if we hadn't already been parked to get back after a day of hiking or whatever and not being sure where to park or being able to park close to your room. In the bar, they had one window open from where we were seated into the deck/patio. We did not understand why they don't open all of those windows, we would have preferred to not have to look through glass to see and hear the band, but that's a small complaint and maybe there's a good reason they do it that way. I will say of the food options, the flatbread pizza needs some work. The crust is pretty floppy, and the slices are too big to pick up easily. You could try to eat it with a fork, but the crust doesn't cut easily either. And when you do get a piece cut (or if you're eating it with your hands) the cheese and toppings just kind of slide off. Overall, the flavor was good, we just struggled to figure out a good way to eat it without making a mess of our plate or our hands. Next time, we would probably just stick to the drinks and grab food elsewhere, but that's just us. Either way, you're in for a great time, with great vibes and great people. read more

Very nice place. Drinks were really good. They make a great cosmopolitan. Bar tender was very friendly. She did start rushing everyone to close out their tabs about 45 min before closing and start pushing you to finish up about the same time. When they say they close at 9 they literally mean lock the doors and lights off at nine but other than that I highly recommend. read more

Little did I know I'd be getting a business card to pass on to our creator of Lez Summer Camp. This is where it all began , I never realized that I would meet FAMILY IN AR-KANSAS David and Ethan instantly had won my heart , they are amongst the kindest men I've met in a long time , it's an honor to be called your friend . I was staying at the hotel across the street. I could hear the band, so I stopped by to listen. The band was good. I went inside the bar to get a drink. I sat down at the bar. And waited, there was 3 people behind the bar and they were getting drinks for people on other side of bar. 2 of the bartenders came to the side we were sitting and I said hello to one of the the bartenders and they looked at me and walked away. Never even acknowledged I was there or said I'll be with you soon, nothing. Very unwelcoming and she must of had lemons in her mouth as she wore a permanent scowl the entire time. I'll start with the positive. The food was delicious. And when I asked for to go plates and the ticket, both were taken care of promptly. Unfortunately, it took over an hour for us to get our food. There was absolutely no communication between our server/bartender and us and even walking up to the bar my husband was glanced over. I feel like it should have been mentioned that there was a wait/delay for food orders. She never came to check our drinks, never mentioned there weren't "kids cups" which we asked for when we ordered. Instead she brought out thick heavy glasses for a 1 and 4 year old.. it's a recipe for a disaster if you're familiar with kids! They do to go orders so if I had known I could have asked for to go cups for them.
