She has different packages for every budget and allows for bringing a sibling to the shoot for much needed family shots, for a reasonable charge. She also has this great system for filling out contracts, sending payment, asking all your dumb 'what should they wear?!' Questions and gives lots of helpful information about make-up and glasses and everything else so you get a great photo. Most importantly, my daughter was at ease with her immediately so our photos are natural looking and beautiful. Our first experience was when she was taking portraits for a relative's 50th anniversary celebration. She was taking individual family portraits and caught some amazing pictures of my family. Not only did she catch some great posed pictures, but she also captured some priceless candid moments of my husband & myself as well as my sons in between poses which show the true essence of each of our personalities and relationships. They are truly amazing and when I saw them, they instantly became my favorite pictures that she took. She has a gift for capturing the most precious, genuine moments. After that experience, my son insisted that Jen be the one to take his senior pictures because she made the whole previous photography session so comfortable. She had multiple ideas for shooting my daughter's senior photos and we especially loved the "urban" look idea she shot in the Historic Third Ward. She has great communication day of with getting everyone into positions for family photos. She knows how to pose you and pick the perfect lights for the shots. Now that we've had time to review our actual photos, we sadly have to update our initial review…read more Going into the wedding we were so excited to work with Chris. But once we really took a look at the photos, we realized we got very little of what we wanted. Before the event, Chris seemed meticulous. He met with us twice and asked detailed questions about our family trees, and we explained who the really super important guests were, aka the guests we wanted lots of photos with. Looking back at the pics, it seems like Chris either didn't hear the majority of our requests, or he heard them and was just too overwhelmed to handle them. During our meetings he stressed a few really important photos, like one with the groom's parents and the bride and groom, one with the bride's parents, photos of the elderly relatives whose presence at the event we'd want to cherish...also his personal favorite of the bridesmaids all looking one way and the bride, in focus, looking at the camera. Somehow, Chris failed at delivering those photos at a high quality - the ones he was passionate about. Most of them are unusable. Chris is definitely a nice guy, but his work quality wasn't what we were expecting, especially for a wedding that was essentially all in one building (no frantic driving across town, searching for parking, etc.). If you are looking for someone to shoot a very, very low key event or a wedding without many moving parts or complications, working with him will probably work. Anything higher stress than that I would recommend working with someone else.

We worked with photographer Chris Duzynski after looking through the albums for three of their photographers (samples of his work: http://ozmoses.zenfolio.com/p280189689). He did an excellent job with the wedding, 8 hours of photography from before the wedding all the way up until the reception started to die down. We just wanted the disk to print photos ourselves, although if I remember correctly you can get other special products if you wish to pay more. No hustling to make us purchase services we didn't want like I've heard about from friends and family about their various photography experiences. He will work to get you the best photos you want for your special day. We corresponded mainly by e-mail but met up with him at one point at a coffee shop to discuss what we wanted and get to know who we were. He also double checked everything so something didn't go amiss. If you are given him as a choice we highly recommend him. :)
