Mark, (The server) and Phil (the chef) made our first experience so worth the trip. I told Phil that his brisket is so good that he could be arrested for felonious deliciousness. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. If I could give 100 stars; I would.

The man who greeted us upon arrival (I believe he was the owner as his there were photos of him and his wife on the wall) was very welcoming; unfortunately, we never saw him again after being seated. To preface the experience we had, It's worth noting that we were the only table in the entire restaurant. The waitress was not very friendly and was extremely unattentive. We had to flag her down for everything from ordering, to getting silverware, to actually checking out. She never once checked in with us to see how our food was or offer us refills on drinks. We also ordered a well drink from the bar and she automatically upcharged us without asking. As a former bartender I am all for upselling, but don't charge a customer for greygoose when they ordered a well vodka. Once we were finished eating we sat there for a good 15 minutes as she was outside on the patio smoking and chatting with her friends. When she did check us out she seemed bothered by us even being there and never once said thank you. The food itself was ok, we had two of their sandwiches with onion rings and fries. Overall though, I can't recommend this spot, which is sad because I love supporting local businesses. Hopefully this was just an off day for them.

After a long day exploring Sequoia National Park, we decided on a quick, casual dinner close to our…read morehotel (the Quality Inn--it's easily within walking distance if you're staying there). The pizza joint was very busy, but the staff moved the line quickly. The menu covers all the basics with a decent variety of standard pizza toppings. Keep in mind that this isn't thin-crust, New York-style pizza. The crust here is thick, fluffy and doughy and don't expect to see premium toppings. As a nice bonus, the chicken wings are baked rather than deep-fried and they offer standard side salads (house and Greek) along with a few beers and a seltzer on tap. I tried a passion/guava seltzer and it was not sweet and refreshing. The atmosphere is lively, complete with a large TV playing sports. I noticed a few claw machines for the kids, though adding a couple of classic arcade games would be a great way to keep them entertained after eating. Service was fast and we appreciated having the food brought directly to our table rather than having to call our number at the counter. While our order initially came out incorrect, the staff corrected the mistake promptly and handled it very professionally. Overall, it's a solid, convenient spot for a casual meal!

We ordered the XL pepperoni pizza, sausage pizza, breadsticks and mango habanero wings. The wings were actually the best I have ever tasted anywhere! The pepperoni pizza was delicious with just so much grease and juiciness!! lol!! Sausage was good too! Breadsticks were a little bland, but still good. Food came out super fast, our family did not wait too long. Everyone here was very nice and welcoming, and the locals left you alone, which I appreciate! The only problem was the women's restroom, it was really dirty and smelly.
