I'm a huge fan of the Pizza Guys chain as I'm a longtime customer of the Apple Valley, CA location. I had a delivery for some wings, a salad and my usual favorite ..a large Taco Pizza for me and my gf. Unfortunately I got a ..base model version of a taco pizza due to a "new employee still training" which I completely understand. I spoke with Kathy and explained my honest dissatisfaction to which she was phenomenally understanding in resolving the issue and rectified it immediately. This is the type of communication and professionalism that's rare in the food service industry. We had to flag her down for everything from ordering, to getting silverware, to actually checking out. She never once checked in with us to see how our food was or offer us refills on drinks. We also ordered a well drink from the bar and she automatically upcharged us without asking. As a former bartender I am all for upselling, but don't charge a customer for greygoose when they ordered a well vodka. Once we were finished eating we sat there for a good 15 minutes as she was outside on the patio smoking and chatting with her friends. When she did check us out she seemed bothered by us even being there and never once said thank you. The food itself was ok, we had two of their sandwiches with onion rings and fries. Overall though, I can't recommend this spot, which is sad because I love supporting local businesses. Hopefully this was just an off day for them.

The saving grace was the buffalo chicken wings. Cooked well but not spicy at all. As well as a small cheese pizza which was nicely sauced, plenty of cheese and baked well.
