The rooms are quite comfortable and detailed with USB charging outlets, TVs with HDMI cables hanging from the wall, and clean and comfortable bathrooms. Service is quite good. Im glad to have been there, but it is probably not a place where I'd choose to return, but perhaps I didn't explore sufficiently.

There was a desk and TV as well. We were in a bit of a time crunch - staying for a wedding with the shuttle and check-in times colliding - and Bridget was able to check us in early! While she couldn't promise early access (I assume this is standard), it was clear that the staff went above and beyond to ensure we could check in and make the shuttle. Everyone was friendly. I thought we were missing towels (despite staring directly at them) and the front desk brought them up within 2 minutes of me calling. My mistake!! But they were so attentive and helpful. Breakfast from 6-10 - your basic suspects - is a nice perk. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend if they needed a room for the night.

After we got checked in, we went up to the room and my wife took off her shoes and noticed the floor was sticky. She thought it had just been cleaned so naturally could have felt sticky but was really just a little wet. Nope. Hours later it was still sticky. After staying in the room for a bit, it was time to get ready for bed and we went to arrange the room so our son who is 1.5 years old could be in his pack and play and be blocked so he can't see us (so he falls asleep without distractions). We went to move the couch and when we did, there were crumbs from who knows when underneath. Not just little crumbs, I am talking pepperonis, full French fries, chunks of bread, etc. immediately we called down to the front desk and they offered to move us to another room so we did. At 9:30pm. This was after blatantly asking 'are you wanting a discount or new room?' Once in the new room, we moved the couch again and noticed it hadn't been cleaned. We know this because we found the remote that had been replaced already. Also more crumbs. This room wasn't that bad though so we stayed. In the morning, our son was running around and the corner piece that protects the wall corner fell off randomly and crashed to the floor, luckily missing him. We tried putting it back on but it was useless. One last thing we noticed is the water is scorching hot. Don't let your kids at any age control the water temperature of the bath/shower/sink because it is hot enough to make a grown man cry. We won't be staying in this hotel any time in the future.

Basic omelette and hashbrowns was like $13. Weekend they had a buffet that was ridiculously priced at $17 in consisting of nothing more than scrambled eggs, some fruits, a protein, and some potatoes. After my first week I was talking to somebody else at the front desk explain to them when I was under the impression it was supposed to include free breakfast. She apologized and said when I checked in, I should've been given vouchers for breakfast. Very disappointing stay other places much nicer. The Wi-Fi here was not very good either.

They didn't secure the block, they cancelled the rooms I had already paid for, then wouldn't let the guests until I completed a written authorization by email for each room!! I had even had the "manager " complete the reservations the 2nd time, & it was still screwed up!! lastly, the shower heads & faucets were broken and there were rust holes in the HVAC with rust on the carpet around it proving the rooms weren't properly cleaned!!! they have no concierge to help with the bridal suite or guest bags, and they wouldn't even consider doing ANYTHING to make my guests feel welcome!!! absolutely an embarrassing nightmare for what should have been a joyful time!!!

During the night a form was slid under the door, printer in was running out and the middle did not print out so could not read. The bathroom had long black hairs on floor and tub (we are seniors with white hair). My feet were black from walking around barefoot in the room (see wash cloth)When I reported the above to the morning manager....she got that blank look on her face and said sorry. Next trip to York I will stay at Hilton; next trip anywhere I won't stay at a Wingate, Wyndham.

(Would have been even more tasty if it was medium rare!) The bread basket was brought out just after our meals were served, which was pointless. When I arrived to check in, there was a family of unhappy guests getting refunded and another guest trying to inform the front desk that there were cockroaches in his room. My son and I stayed in the French room and I had a ball trying on all of the hats, which the proprietor sprays after each visitor. The decor was so detailed, authentic, and so incredible I could've spent the entire weekend in the room and still wished for more. Joanna caters to your every whim and personally serves a delicious breakfast to your room with hot coffee proceeding it, keeping the same theme as the room. Now I can honestly say I have been to Paris and I'll bet it's better than the real thing! We will certainly be going back for many symphonies in the future and can't wait to see the next adventurous room.
