Im giving 1 star only because I can't give 0. This is, without doubt or hesitation, the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. Here are some of the high(low)lights- 1. When I arrived to check in, there was a family of unhappy guests getting refunded and another guest trying to inform the front desk that there were cockroaches in his room. The woman at the front desk didn't apologize for anything but just argued with the man. I should have cancelled my reservation then and there but decided to give the benefit of the doubt. 2. There were cockroaches in the room (see pic below). 3. No smoke detector (see pic) 4. Burn holes in the carpet and bed sheets (see pic). 5. Filthy hallways (see pic). 6. I left the hotel and came back to find my room door propped open with no one around. My items were left exposed to be stolen. Maintenance then pounded on my door and insisted to come in and work (not communicated). When I asked him why he just left my door open, he took ZERO responsibility and was rude. Honestly, this place should be shut down by the board of health and the folks who run this hotel should be ashamed. read more

For $65 I should've just picked a Marriott. Trash was left outside of my room when I first walked in. Secondly, holes in the carpet, tears in the wall. Lastly, my window to the room was wide open and the screen door was wide open. Also, room doesn't smell pleasant. No odors were taken into consideration. No complimentary breakfast. This is the WORST hotel experience I've ever had my entire life. Do not stay here ever' the wifi cuts off non stop I've reported this incident many times and staff don't care and never did anything about the issue and I stayed here for almost a week because their a cheap hotel and that explains it. Staff is rude, they don't anything but collecting their paychecks, not only that but this hotel is pretty dirty, they seem to not get cleaned properly. You are definitely better off sleeping in your car than you are in this motel. The hallways and staircases have carpeting that must be 30 years old and they stink like a circus tent. Pass this place!!!! I would NOT stay here. I was snowed in and exhausted, so I didn't say anything. I was given a room that the door had been busted through- they "fixed" it but buy a new door! The metal lock for my protection was cut in half so I was concerned for my safety. Even though I asked for a non smoking room, the hallway was HORRIBLE! SMELLED!! I should be refunded for this place. The most horrible service. The hallways, elevator and rooms smell from the unclean carpets. Roach infested and customer service by old man with glasses has major attitude. The other workers are nice accept they pester you about needing anything after you put DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door! Children stomp over your head and when you notify front desk, nothing is done. They women workers are very nice just some of them are nosey and push for personal questions. I try to have compassion for them because of their Indian culture and how women are treated. This place had so many red flags. We should have just left and went across the street. If I could give zero stars I would. As soon as you walked in. You were greeted by the powerful stench on cigarette smoke. The guy at the desk was kind of ok. Sorta seemed to have had an attitude but I would too if I had to work over night. So after check in as soon as you go through the door to the hall with rooms. Trash everywhere. Again you had the smell of cigarette accompanied by the smell of pee. As my husband and I got to our room, I always do a routinely bed bug check. Thankfully there were none in THAT room. But the room definitely hadn't been cleaned properly. Who knows of our sheets were even clean. There was some type of ash on the carpet. Crumbs. Trash. Holes all over the walls. The bedding had holes and stains throughout. Under our bed (which our bed was broken btw) was a slipper. A sock. And a bag. As I went into the bathroom there was toilet paper rips on the floor. The tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned. And oh a DIRTY was cloth hanging with the shower curtain. Our sink had some sort of red liquid in it. Almost looked as if someone brushed their teeth and brushed too hard and spit out blood. Well clearly that wasn't cleaned either. If we hadn't gotten there so late I would have went next door to the dollar general or cvs and bought cleaning supplies so I could have SLIGHTLY slept comfortably after deep cleaning the whole room. This place is a disgrace and shouldn't even been running anymore. I really hope that the board of health shows up there and shuts this place down. Worst place I have ever "slept" at. Dear lord! Gross! One star too good. The first thing to notice is how run down but then, up in room 232, I cannot even tell you the smell that filled that room. It was as if incense or drug use (not marijuana) or something going on. My son and I figured out it was truly the smell they create in Halloween haunted houses. (Not a joke) It permeated the whole room. I tried the a/c fan and no help, then I called the front desk and invited him Inside the room to smell and he agreed and gave me air freshener. Seriously. Nice attempt. Didn't work though. I was seriously thinking that smell would stick to us like a Seinfeld episode. The hallways are what smelled of marijuana usage, at least on one side of the 2nd floor. I will say that my relative's room was upstairs from us and it did not have the weird smell like ours did. Their room was still horrible, just not quite as horrible. The mattress box spring pad had some gross markings of old splashes liquids on it. Yuck!! The microwave button fell off (was only inspecting it, not using it). The door latch looked like it was about to fall off as if someone was trying to break in the door form the outside. The sink was super chipped and didn't look clean. We slept with the light on just in case bugs would be less inclined to come out. I wouldn't put the covers on. We slept fully clothed and honestly I didn't even let my feet ever touch the floor. Always some shoes on. Why didn't we leave you ask? Well the town was filled with some gun/knife show and so it seemed that all the other places were booked, otherwise, I would've ran out of that place as quickly as possible. Also, because we arrived late and we were on the road early, our other family upstairs wasn't wanting to drive to another town. I considered sleeping in the car in the parking lot but there were people loitering and smoking pot out there. I had to take it as a lesson learned at that point. The vending machines were all broken or empty. There were questionable stains and burn marks on the carpet and bathroom floors. Even for 60 bucks, it should be clean and sanitary. Not one who usually bashes a business but this has been horrible!! If I could give negative stars I would. All the other hotels are sold out tonight or we'd be gone right now. From the moment of check in this has been horrible!! The clerk was far from friendly and seems to hate her job and life!! She answered the phone several times during checking me in which is fine since she was alone but she was so rude to them also. Not only do the halls reek of drugs so bad it's coming into the room and they are in need of vacuum and have trash all over. There were holes in hallway walls where it appeared something kicked or punched the walls. as you can see by the pictures our room is disgusting! Poor repair, and filthy! I asked for an extra pillow because there were only two very flat pillows on a queen sized bed and I have a health condition that requires my head to be elevated more than a pancake. and the clerk told me the hotel had no extra pillows to go buy one across the street. In the room the bedspread was stained, the sheets had stains, the two flat pillows smelled of body odor and smoke. Though it was a non smoking room. I can actually draw in the dust on the coffee maker. The rugs have gum on them and other spills and are obviously not vacuumed. The tub has hair and scum. The walls and ceilings have splattered funk of some kind. Paint peeling, holes and chipped paint. Mildew and hard water stains. WiFi didn't work. The air conditioning blew out a foul smell but we had to keep it running because if we turned it off the room started to get hit and smell like feet and bad body odor. People were slamming doors and yelling in the halls and the people upstairs must have been amateur wrestlers. This place could use sound proofing. Apparently there are "tenants" here that live monthly. And they have personal items strewn throughout the motel. Went to get a soda and a man came out in his bathrobe walking the hall like it was his home and I was intruding. Then went to go out to my car to get an item and interrupted three individuals in a cloud of weed and quickly exchanging something in a handshake before rushing past me in the stairway. We will be at a different hotel tomorrow thank god! I tore the bed apart because the way this place is looking bed bugs would not surprise me at all!! We were forced to stay due to no rooms available in any other hotel in town. If the circumstances were different I'd have left immediately! We called every hotel after getting into the room trying to get the heck out of this nightmare. read more

I have stayed at this hotel for a few days now. It is rather pleasant and I've only had a few small issues that were addressed in a professional and courteous manner. I find the price and the location extremely convenient while I look for an apartment as well. Dentry and the night auditor were the best helping me deal with some mistakes made through miscommunications between staff and myself, which was extremely stressful. I could not appreciate them anymore because of their kindness, friendliness, and pleasantness. They made the stay a lot more tolerable and I would recommend this place just because of their hospitality. read more

I live in MA and i drove down to York, PA to see my sister that had traveled from PR. Anyways, My boyfriend and i get their around 1am, we check in and go to sleep because we were exhausted. When we wake up we realize it spells really bad in the whole entire building. We go to a baby shower we got invited to, we come back Sunday when it was time for us to leave, the housekeeper didn't bother knocking they came right in(thank god we were already dress) we tell them to give us few more minutes we were about to head out we just needed to clean and get our stuff make sure we didnt miss anything, well the whole time, they stood right their outside the door, how rude is that?!! read more

I recently stayed at this motel. Room looked nice at first sight. Room was small but comfortable. It had a mini fridge and a microwave too but microwave was not working. Upon checking I noticed that microwave was not connected to the power socket- the power cord was too short to reach any socket. All sockets near the microwave were already being used. I requested the front desk for an extension cord and I was told that it will be ordered and will be available next day. I was there for about two weeks but extension cord never arrived. I was lucky to have an extension cord in my suitcase so I used it. Front desk and cleaning people were nice. Breakfast was fin. read more

Stayed 8 nights on first floor. Bed comfortable but sheets did not fit quite right. Spring unit cover had soil spots ? from other people or sprays. ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE OF BED BUGS. Room was swept and cleaned daily with bed made, bathroom and sink cleaned, trash removed, and fresh towels issued. TV remote as set up originally on changed channel as TV and volume needed to be changed on the TV directly. There was a VCR, microwave, and refrigerator all which worked but were powered by a thin household extension cord. Hair dryer and coffee brewer in room as well as tissues. Powerful shower with good adjustable spray and temperature. Drapes fully darkened the window but one hanger missing. Free continental breakfast with juice, cold cereal, muffins, toast, butter, jelly, with coffee or tea. Waffle batter, iron and syrup were available if you desire. On the weekend, they had bananas, yoghurt, danish, and instant oatmeal added to the continental breakfast. read more

The staff is rude, the rooms are nasty ( cockroaches, toilets does not work, drug deals going on ) and they will charge several credit cards for the same room.Not knowing the area I reserved some rooms on my credit card for family members. These family members told the front desk to remove my card and put the rooms on their credit cards. Not only did the desk clerk charge their cards but they also charged my card and when we tried to fix it they said it was not possible that they charged both cards even though we had prove. It took several days to get my money back and in the mean time they charged the other family members card for both rooms and told that family member that my husband told them to do that ( which he did not ). Overcharged!! I paid for a family member to stay at the hotel for 2 nights. Prior to making the reservation, I spoke to the clerk about making the reservation and paying for the two nights for family member who is homeless. The clerk inform me that the best way to reserve a room is online but provided instructions to include the indiviuals name and room number. I received an confirmation email for two nights totaling $102.44. However, I was charged for 8 nights totaling $425.28. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau after the manager informed me that they could not reimburse me. read more

This hotel lacks everything !! It is drab dingy dirty haggered run down old an un kept ! None of the exit door key entries work so anyone can walk in off the street. Totally unsafe . The rooms are horrible an so is the bedding. Inside the room on the door it posts that each room has a safe so hotel is not responsible for guest losses but there are no room safes. The parking lot is full of garbage an looks like no one ever cleans up around here . The staff barely speak English an are very unfriendly .
