I wanted to start off my review with the fact i have never bought a bed before. All my beds were handed down to me... I probably contacted 5 different businesses to discuss what I wanted. My cal king is 25+ years old, with a small frame. I wanted a new, very good queen, with frame and headboard. I also wanted a company who would haul away my bed, and install the new one. This was way harder than I thought. The only business that would do almost all of this was sleep number. I worked with the sales rep Steve, and he was completely no pressure, super nice, and went over everything we me. I finally went into the showroom and we found a great bed, with frame and headboard at a big discount. It was still $5,000 but a great bed, and Steve made the whole experience very easy for me. This store had 3 people in it and all of them were very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend coming here for a good bed. It might be a bit pricey but the beds are worth it. It's simply a 15 year investment or something like that. The delivery is in one month which is a bit long, but Steve is trying to get that time reduced. To whom it may concern: Hello, I am writing you today to bring to your attention my complete disappointment and dissatisfaction with what I thought would be my bed for life. Just over a year ago my wife and I purchased your i10 mattress to which we were very pleased as we had a great in store experience and were presented with what we thought would be a life changing opportunity to buy a bed that would change the way we sleep for years to come. We were also promised that said mattress would be guaranteed to last and had a great 15 year warranty attached to it in case problems ever arose. Unfortunately, in the recents weeks/months we have noticed that the bed has seemed to have lost its shape and feels loose within its cover. Additionally the half split in the middle of our mattress seems to be getting bigger and wider every night. To the point that my pregnant wife essentially falls into the bed, making our sleeping experience less than perfect. We called into your customer service line and were talked through some trouble shooting tips and things to look for to help find our issue. We came to find that the covering that holds the mattress itself in form had ripped on one edge. The tech on the phone explained that this tear is the main reason the bed has started to deform and spread on us. They let us know that the cover would be able to be replaced and should save our experience. In the moment we were very pleased that Sleep number had our back but, we soon found out that in fact the wonderful guarantee for high quality materials and a great warranty were in fact a sham. We were told that not only would we be paying for the replacement cover but also the labor to have it replaced. This is the point where my view in your company turned. I was told that in reality my warranty was only fully guaranteed for one year and that each year there after if would slowly deteriorate and I would then have to pay for repair out of pocket, including my current issue of tearing. At that moment my aggravating situation became worse as I realized that I'd be shelling out over $700+ more on top of the already $12k plus I paid to purchase the mattress for my home. I find it truly disturbing that your company would think that charging a premium for a warranty repair after one spends that much money on your product in just over a years span would be considered good customer service or even at that point good business in general. It is truly shocking that while preparing for a new baby I will also have to prepare to spend over $700 dollars extra for what I thought was an investment in my health, sleep and life. I now see this was a mistake and feel as though I have been bamboozled in more ways than one. I would hope that you can understand the standpoint I am coming from on this unfortunate event and would hope that your company would be able to deliver properly on the sleep number experience I was promised when I happily slid my credit card, mind you a sleep number credit card at that. I feel that this is a situation that should be handled on a higher level than just a tech on the phone and I demand that you step up and show me why I spent so much money on your product in the first place. No one should ever be subjected to additional payments on a bed that has begun to lose its integrity and quality in such a short time of ownership. I hope that we can solve this issue amicably in a short amount of time and I would love to speak with someone about this further. Please, show me the money I spent on your product will not go to waste, because at this point I am ready to ditch the mattress completely which was not my intention when I allowed you to take my money and trust. read more

This is the worst customer service ever. We were the only family in the store and the sales just say hi to us and did nothing. He just stand at the cashier and playing his computer. We told the sales that we want to buy the pillow, and stating that our mattress is a bit soft. He told us that all the mattresses in the store are the same (what?) So we have to self serve without any assistance. We went to Sit N Sleep and Mattress Firm. Those facilities provided excellent customer service. read more

I see that most of the bad reviews are old so it could be that, but let me tell you that you won't see a bad review about Josh (Bowman). We came in just to browse (with the intention of buying soon) but Josh really sold me there and then with his honest opinions, his knowledge, and attitude. He gave us a "mattress tour" and the sleep number experience. We ended up choosing the best deal mattress that was $3000 off on sale (the iLE) after trying 5 different beds. Josh was also kind enough to give us drinks and pastries. Overall we were extremely satisfied and did not feel pushed nor rushed even though it was past closing hours. I don't know how the mattress quality will end up being but this store has a super star in Josh and the owner better give him raises and hope to keep him happy because Josh brings in money just with his social and sales skills. I read the reviews about this store before going there. Seems there are mixed reviews on Matthew, from 1 star to 5. So I went there with a jaundiced eye and a few grains of salt. Well, we bought a bed from Matthew, and he didn't try to over sell us or influence what we liked. He told us of our options and help us get into the mattress that suited my wife and I. He steered us AWAY from the more expensive models. He was a total professional and very knowledgeable. I give him 5 stars. Two years ago, I bought a sleep number bed with solit mattress twin xl and the fabulous frame and love it still. I called Acosha, in customer service to inquire how to arrange for moving my bed to another location and she was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. But since my curiosity got the best of me, especially after hearing all those 'what's your sleep number?' commercials, I decided to pop in. The five stars are for Cristina. She's got to be the best mattress dealer I've ever met. With her experience, expertise, and excellent customer service, I am this close to purchasing a sleep number mattress in the near future. The store looked nice and the representative spent quality time with me and the wife. But what got me was the extra he did for me. I had my 4 month old daughter with us and she needed to be changed and there was no changing table in the bathroom. THE EMPLOYEE OFFERED TO MAKE A CHANGING TABLE FOR HER OUT OF TWO BENCHES, SO MY WIFE COULD CHANGE HER SAFELY AND NOT ON THE FLOOR. I have 4 children and no one has ever taken the time to ensure my daughter was comfortable. Most people only care about the person with the money and I didn't feel like money was primary, but my family being comfortable was his priority and because of that I walked out of the store with a purchase. read more

Buyers beware!!! I purchased the Sleep Number i10, I was promised so many great things, including 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Well, my bed was delivered and installed, it worked fine before the delivery guys left. The first night, my bed didn't work. I got a warning on the control. I tried to reach customer service, it was closed. The next morning o tried calling again, and the rep was not knowledgeable or helpful. My husband called the sales rep and two weeks have passed and we have not received a call back from the so called manager. I have a loft sided bed, and I will not be able to get a replacement (which I was ironically told by the rep "at no charge to you" smh) until two weeks from now. I spent +$10 k on a bed that I can't use!!!! And when they tell you "satisfaction guaranteed" it does NOT mean you'll get your money back!!! Update... After posting this review, I was reached by a supervisor. He was very apologetic, I will be getting a replacement soon. I'm looking forward to getting a working bed:) Last update... Two very professional and informative repair men, sent by Sleep Number, repaired and replaced the defective part. I have a very convenient bed, I am content. And I did receive a follow up call from a supervisor to make sure everything works fine now. read more

Lyllioune, our salesperson, knows her stuff. She is a true Sleep Number evangelist. I mean that in a good way! She believes in her product and takes the time to educate and inform the uninitiated. Bed delivery was top notch. They delivered the bed but suggested postponing set up since we were having new flooring installed. It's only a 30 minute process to set up the bed, and they could have carelessly cranked it out. But they didn't want the bed damaged by the flooring company. So glad I took their advice! Now, about the set up. I was told between 8-12 on a Saturday. Set up arrived that day but a couple hours late. They did a quick, fantastic job , though, so no ding on my five star rating. Lastly, the bed itself. We got all the bells and whistles, so of course we couldn't be happier. Great warranty; just pray we never need it! read more

1st and foremost I rarely do reviews but the customer service we received from Josh! Was absolutely amazing I'm not sure if he was the store manager but he definitely ran it as such. He was working solo on Sunday July 31. We walked in he had a couple he was working with. He acknowledged us he expressed how long it was going to take with them. Suggested an appt. In consideration of our time. However, we were willing to wait due to his peasantry, our plan was to go look and get pricing etc. Let me tell you he handled them us and the other 3 couples that came in with easy. He went to the back to get some paper covers for the pillows. Came back with warm cookies. Not sure if that's sleep numbers protocol but, it definitely was a lovely touch. Thanking us for the wait. He was genuine with our needs. Simply an overall great human. Heck I wanted to be like Josh let's be friends lol. In these times it's refreshing to have that experience with others. Sleep number beds what a joke! Mattresses are a thin hollowed out shoddy foam mattress with an air bag inside of it for $6,000! Do not buy from this company or store. You cannot return anything but the mattress. You cannot return base/frame, pillows, sheets nothing but the mattress. Employees at this specific location are useless. I think a single star is generous. I went to this store to purchase a base for the sleep number I bought two years ago. After pulling up my sleep number purchase history, It took Matthew Livingston over 30 minutes to get the system to order it for me. In hindsight I think he shouldn't have called customer service to force the order because when it arrived a week later it didn't even fit. (My two year old model didn't fit the newly released base. Go figure that a bed that's over $2k doesn't have a regularly base. $2000 is the inexpensive one. Go figure.). The base was a ridiculous $219 including tax. I'm an idiot. A standard frame would've worked but I like to keep things authentic especially for a pricy bed. But mistake. Expensive is not always better especially for Sleep Number. So I go back to the store to return the useless frame for my obsolete bed and they can't refund me. It takes 7-10 days. They take thousands from people for an mattress with a plastic base and fancy remote control. Don't waste your money on a sleep number. read more

I am an owner of a select comfort bed (prior to becoming sleep number), I have owned the bed 21 years and have absolutely loved it. But, like all things it had some wear and tear. My husband and I wanted to see the options available for upgrading. We fell in love with the new technology and how comfortable the beds are. Mathew was an amazing help. Please do not buy sleep number. You will be frustrate from day one of purchase and regrets. After I ordered it. I did not get any information for delivery except in your email state the order number and delivery phone # without any instruction that we need to call them. Then 2 weeks goes by I called then they direct to call delivery company which is separate from Sleep number. First available delivery is in 3 weeks. 3 weeks went by,, on the day of the delivery I took off work and wait foe it, the delivery company called to schedule another delivery date. After stay and wait a long time on the phone they found out that the I need to reschedule to another 3 weeks due to freight delay which is not in their control. So let's see what will happen when that day come. I mean I order this 2 months prior to my birthday and it is not happening and was charged and paid for. This is the reason why they have 1 month warranty so by the time I got it, the one month warranty is over. Soooo much stresssssssss. I would give it a ZERO for customer service. Oh and don't even try to.call them. I was on the phone for 2 hrs each day for 3 days. And still no one on the phone line to take my call. That's is HORRIBLE service. read more

This store location and company have no concept of customer service. I have been trying to get my bed since August which it's now December, so for over 4 months and still no bed. They claim their new computer system was the cause but when you caulk the store or customer service no one had a clue. I was first told that I didn't order a bed, then I was told about the computer problems, then I was told they sold more C2 beds than anticipated and they cannot metro up with demand. I paid $5,500.00 and that is the best they can do. I contacted sleep number for a refund and they are "looking into it." I'm just going to call Citibank and do it myself. I have had my bed for almost a year. Although I like the bed, two issues have arisen. The two mattresses have separated to the point that I often get stuck in between them while I sleep. Also, I need to find a way to move the unit closer to my wall, however, it is impossible without using casters. I contacted customer service and the representative said she would arrange to have an insert sent out to me and for me to order some casters so I could move the entire unit. I was told that somebody would call me back and facilitate this. I missed the initial call and attempted to call back Sleep Number. I've attempted to call and get in touch with somebody but each time I do the Sleep Number recording tells me that the phone system is down. 10 attempts later, I still have not reached anyone. Sleep Number has the worst customer service and I would therefore not recommend this company to anyone. read more

We purchased our first sleep number bed few years ago and we love the product. Since we are moving and we thought it would be great to get a full size mattress for my daughter. When we arrived, Mathew greeted us and sold us the full size mattress. we pretty much knew what we wanted and about 10 minutes later, we were checking out at the counter. Mathew offered us 2 different shipping options. According to him I could place the order and call in later to set up the delivery date to our new house. Since it was the week before black Friday, he promised he would give us a call if the price drop for the next 30 days after purchased. We emphasized at least 5 times that we would call in and schedule the delivery date when we are ready. Then he said there wasn't any problem for that and he told us one of his customers scheduled the delivery date Feb, 2018. End up, We found out the mattress got left on the side curb of our OLD house the day after Cyber Monday without us calling them for delivery date. And Mathew, the worst salesperson; didn't even call for the Cyber Monday $200 discount!!!!! Sleep number beds are good, but DON'T get them at this store!!!! especially with Mathew!!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would. I wouldn't buy anything from them if it were free and I could drive it home myself. This place only cares about the sale, nothing else. Customer service is nonexistent. I was told my bed would arrive in 2 weeks, I would have early morning delivery and a confirmation call the day before. After calling several times the day of because they do not answer if someone is in the store....they could not explain why I was not called the day before and why my bed is delayed another week. One week later....Again no call the day before and they leave out the part about having no control over delivery times. It's worse than ordering cable tv. Sleep number does not care about you the customer, they care about making money. You will get your bed eventually, maybe, when convenient to them. You are all pathetic. read more

If I can give this place no stars, unfortunately, I would. Called in earlier today to make sure they were willing to help my dad load his bed because he has a back problem and said yes. Once he went into the store the manager told him they weren't able to and sarcastically asked if she can borrow his truck to help her move in two weeks giving my dad her number as well as as getting a random stranger who is not an employee to help him. We have went to the Rancho Cucamonga area and never had an issue. In rancho, the employee happily helped me load my bed and were very accommodating as an employee should be. And on top of that, my boyfriend and I came in to return bed sheets and were rudely and unprofessionally spoken to and not accommodating so we left. The experience was unfortunately embarrassing and disappointing for Sleep Number which is a luxury store with the expectation of better customer service. read more
