Crooks! Vincent who works at Chino and Anaheim Hills. They sell you a bed on sale, and then it sinks in the middle and hurts your back, so Vincent agrees to exchange for another mattress that is not defective and turns out to be so FIRM, hurts your back. I also had to pay an additional $300 for the 2nd bed. Don't buy form Mattress firm. They are all crooks, and the beds are all defective, they cave in the middle and also so hard the hurts your back! My back hurts all the time now and have invested more $ into toppers. Pay the extra $ and go to Sit & Sleep or some other reputable mattress store. You are warned. read more

UPDATE: 10/5/21 Jennifer from Mattress Firm reached out regarding my experience and wanted to know what they as a team can do better. One thing I do give them credit for is the time in which they responded. You can see from other reviews, mostly positive, that Management takes the time and effort to make sure your experience matters. Whether it's good or bad they definitely take time to see how they can improve. I admit that Jennifer reaching out to Corporate and Upper Management to help improve my experience and thoughts about the company as a whole has left a mark on me. They definitely practice what they preach. ---------------------------------------------- I have real problem with Mattress Firm business model and maybe other brick and mortar stores like them. My biggest take away is if you really want to save money definitely try the online retailers first. If you're in the market for Nectar and Purple, maybe other online bed in a box companies, please save you money and order online first. The restocking and pickup fees are horrendous! My story. I have been in the market for a new mattress. I tried Nectar and Dream Cloud but have always missed my Beautyrest Black Mattress so I went to 10/5/21 UPDATE: one thing I give them credit for is they asked how they can give a better experience for future customers. Point for them. HOWEVER; it still stands true that their return policy and restocking fee defers from business to business. It's not set. If you buy at Macy its 15% not 20%. If you order from Beautyrest website there's no fees for returning. If you buy an expensive mattress. Try them at brick and mortar locations BUT buy from the manufacture directly if you're not sure. Otherwise you pay for the business return fees and pick up fees. Again great customer service but if you're not 100% on you decision to purchase a high end mattress save money by buying online. Mattress Firm to find one. Chris, the sales person, said they don't have one and the Beautyrest Beyond is their version of it. I tried other mattresses while I was there but was fixed on the features of the beyond because my Beautyrest Black was so amazing. Long story short. I bought the mattress. The medium version and immediately hated it when I slept on it. It was as hard as a rock. I called Chris to complain and he did say that the mattress will need to be broken down and settle. He said to walk on it and sleep on it for 3 weeks so it can soften up. It's been 3 weeks and my back still hurts so I returned it than rather exchange it. Either way, if you exchange or return the mattress you'll be stuck with the added fees. Fees that were not present when I purchased a mattress online. Now I have to eat up $600 worth of charges from the restocking and pick up charges. To me it's a big rip off especially since I only used the mattress for 3 weeks and they will later flip the mattress later for profit. The new buyer will benefit from it being broken in and the company profits from me and the new customer. The margin on this mattress is over 60%. Either way you look at it the business makes money and transfers cost to consumers. Please do yourself a favor. Skip stores like this and order online. It will save you money if you shop around. read more

Came in last Thursday, 7/8, because we needed a mattress for my son. Called ahead of time to check if a particular mattress was in stock since my son wanted a firm mattress but was on a budget. Spoke with Vincent and he gave us some options within budget. Told him we would be there in a few minutes. When we arrived, Vincent had the mattress pulled out and set up for testing. I had an exceptionally good experience with Mattress Firm in Chino Hills, CA. When I first arrived at the store, I was immediately greeted by Vincent Villamor, the sales representative. The store is very well organized and heated (it was mid-40s and windy cold outside). Vincent did an excellent job in asking questions and allowing our conversation to flow. He is also a good listener and showed me a few beds that were all comfortable. I had many technical questions and took good notes. We eventually settled on the Purple3 Hybrid mattress with the MF900 adjustable base. The purchase process was easy, and we had the bed and base delivered and set-up within the week. There was a minor issue with the Purple pillows as they were out of stock at the Mattress Firm warehouse, however, Vincent was able to authorize a pick-up of the pillows at the Corona, CA store. Our first night on the bed was (actually all of our nights are) very relaxing and the massage feature put us right to sleep. We wake up well rested and ready for the day. Overall, my wife and I are very happy (hard to tell with the masks) with the bed and the sales team, including Mike and Kim who did an excellent job in helping to answer our questions. I bought a cal king split mattress from them around September or October 2022. They delivered it and it's not the same size as a cal king should be. It's size should be 72"x 84" that's the size of a standard cal king mattress. Instead my mattresses are 72"x 80". I called them to let them know and they basically blew me off telling that they have some sort of tolerance that they go by. Needless to say I am not at all happy with the mattresses. read more

For lack of time wasting writing and for you reading this review I will keep it short. We went in the store and of course every sales person is eager to sell you anything. We tested 2 different days the same bed and agreed to it. We ordered it with the "FREE BASE" which we learned is far from cheap. So after a few weeks of this bed, we came back and expressed our disappointment and dissatisfaction for this bed. It was hard as a rock and we couldn't sleep well. The salesman told us to "walk on the bed here and there 3 times a day" until it settles in. Just to show you the crap they sell. We spent another week on this horrible bed and finally we were able to exchange it. Of course pickup fee was $100 and restocking fee $80 and then delivery of the new bed $100. So you're screwed out of short of $300. And of course every better mattress costs more to top it off. They charged us full price for the base of $600. You can get a better base online or through any furniture store for cheaper. To say the least this was by far one of the worst experience ever. I never expect anything for free but as a fellow business owner I expect them to take care of their customers and help with all these outrageous fees. Kim seemed to be thrilled with charging us all these fees and it seemed like he wanted ya just to keep the rock hard mattress, which was not an option. Bought a Tempurpedic Mattress with ergo Bed. Initial experience was ok, i believe we were shown by Alicia. I mean she is knowledgeable. We even went back from Ashleys back to them coz Alicia was amiable and does not push their products. The bed was great. (it is a 7K bed, so I expect nothing less) The problem strated AFTER the purchase. The delivery system works wherein they will call in advance (a day before the schedule date) to confirm delivery time frame. So apparently they dont have my correct phone number in the beginning. So I gave it to them for reference. When I called back to verify, they still dont have it. And after 3 attempts of giving my correct phone number and I even gave a secondary phone number, they finally got it. Then I realized the bed frame has not been delivered yet coz I thought it will be delivered same time of the bed. I purchased the bed and the headboard sometime mid April 2022. And when I called they said for me just to wait as it is a different delivery company. They couldn't tell me time frame of delivery as well. Sure why not, so we waited. A week after, still no delivery. So I called again.. spoke with the manager, Jenifer. She said supposedly it has been delivered a week after the purchase date. But I dispute it. I mean I would see a headboard delivery if it is here. It was a King Size headboard . I was actually glad , someone actually "digged deeper" on the root of the problem. After almost 2 weeks of waiting for a call back on update of my delivery..and STILL NOTHING. I called again.. To follow up. Apparently, AGAIN, they couldn't find me phone number! WTH is wrong with this company. The delivery company was able to call me before but they couldn't. Now after a MONTH of purchase and MULTIPLE attempts, I still dont have the headboard. It just shows that once you are DONE with your PAYMENTS/ PURCHASE. They just don't care anymore. I mean the bed is NO problem. It is the service I am really concerned about. read more

Even give us few tips about washing, fitting and comfort for different body type. We are very happy that it was a great experience. we end up with Purple 3, motorized bed frame and 3 purple pillows. 100 day review. Delivery went smoothly, no frills. Out went my old mattress, in with the new one and the adjustable base. They did a quick setup on the adjustable base, placed the mattress onto it, and it was all set up. The gentlemen that took care of it were really nice and quick. The cherry on top for my experience with Mattress Firm was how Marcos took care of a price difference for me. Purple was doing a sale for the mattress on May 4th online. I decided to call Marcos and ask him if I could get the difference back, since I really had nothing to lose. He took care of it for me and gave me back the difference without any hassle.
