The sales person couldn't tell us the delivery date until the order was accepted. When we found the same product in-stock do called to cancel. They then told me it had shipped and that it was not returnable. Very disappointed and feel like the sales person only wants his commission and mattress firm only wants my money.

Customer Service onsite great, after the sale not so much…read more Purchased a queen sized mattress for roughly $1600 recently from them which came with a free promotional adjustable base that came with it. At the time of purchase I believed I already had a base that would work and since I didn't want to be wasteful and make them give me something I didn't need I said "I don't think I need it." Fast forward to the day the mattress was delivered. Turns out that I was replacing a full and not a queen so the mattress didn't fit properly on the base I had. I reached out to them and asked if there way any way to get the previously offered promotional base since the product was still brand new and unused. They were unable to modify the sale to include the promotional base and were willing to provide the same base for 50% of the retail price + $100 delivery fee. Alternately, I could switch to a full sized mattress by paying an additional $100 delivery fee as well. While I appreciate the options they gave me, the mattress was already at the top of my budget and paying $100 more for a less expensive mattress or $400+ for a new base was not feasible. When asked if I could simply return the unused product, they said they couldn't take it back because it was opened already. Of course, there was no way to know if it wasn't going to fit until after their delivery guys opened the mattress and it inflated. Long story short, so long as you have no problems with your purchase these guys are fine. If you need help after the sale, or think you might, I'd go somewhere else. I know I will be in the future.

When I specifically asked about trying the King Harmony Pillow in a low profile, he just pointed and said, "I think it's that," without even offering a pillow covering to test it properly. The lack of effort and judgmental attitude was unacceptable. Because of this poor service, I left without making a purchase and will be going to another Purple location where customer service is taken seriously. This store just lost a sale.

I get it, backups and things happen, but what I don't like is being lied to as assured of things that aren't even remotely true. If they are completely wrong and misinformed about this, what else are they misinformed and lying about? Seems like very bad business in my opinion.

We went to Mattress Firm first, where they pushed the split king (so buying 2 twin beds of our preferences). We liked the idea. Hated a few other mattress stores. Went here as a last stop to just see what they had. We met Joshua, who was incredible. He explained that 2 separate twins would be the most expensive possible option and that he was sure he would find something for us to agree on. He was right. We tried out 5 beds alongside him and he asked us questions to narrow down our search and figure out what we were actually looking for. We fell in LOVE with the Avocado mattress. It was actually medium-soft, though my partner wanted a firm bed, but so supportive and comfy that he fell for it. It really was the best of all the things we wanted and easily our favorite. Joshua was super helpful in both his methodology and the info we got. He honored a sale for us, helped us pick out pillows, and gave us just the right amount of care without overwhelming us. We were back in to purchase the next day and are now awaiting delivery! Yay! These guys are the real deal. They are not owned by any big companies, so are able to speak candidly on brands and really hone in on what will work best, not meeting sales quotas. We felt like they were honest AND had the best selection. Looking back, this is the only mattress store where I really felt comfortable and like I was in good hands.

Many problems with mattress purchase. On delivery date we stayed home waiting to never see them…read more We called and they told us that the mattress we ordered was discontinued. Wasted our precious Saturday because they can't call us. We didn't receive our refund for three weeks so we called about it and they said that can only be done through the corporate office. Why wasn't it done without us waiting and asking for our money that is gaining interest on our credit card without us even having the purchased item in our possession? The manager returned our call to say he had a mattress that he thought would suit our needs. None was in stock so they ordered one so that we could come see if we liked it. Told us to come see it the next weekend. We went to the store and it wasn't in yet. No call. We went again the next weekend and liked the mattress. We purchased our custom sized order mattress and for the trouble were given a discount that would have been a credit on our credit card that had still not been refunded from the original non-received mattress. The mattress was received when delivery was promised and is a great mattress. After waiting another two weeks for the refund to show on our credit card we called to ask about it. The owner/manager told us that he didn't agree to the lower price that the salesperson gave us and it would cost us the full original price. This is even though we had a receipt with the lower price on it. He said we would have to take it up with corporate office. After multiple efforts to contact a corporate office we never could find anyone or anyplace that is corporate. It doesn't exist as far as our research could find. We emailed the customer service email at the King's Mattress website and received an auto reply from a personal gmail address saying she was out of office getting married. We have had to give up and have paid the full $400 more for the mattress. The only reason we stuck with this business was we could order a custom RV size from them. Do not support this business that lacks integrity, honesty and professionalism.
