Big thanks to Dr. James Stupfel, PA-C, who was friendly, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, assuring, and personable. If I didn't have a PCP, I would absolutely visit him for everything, based on his calm, professional demeanor. Very recommended for anyone who unsure of using a fly-by-night, last minute healthcare provider. People like him give credit to ZoomCare, and the healthcare industry in general, at a time when people have begun to (rightfully) question our broken, predatory system. I just saw Dr. Speaker recently and she didn't mention the new concierge decision. She is changing her practice to this new concierge model (basically only for the rich) which leaves us now without a PCP as of September. She could have told me in person when myself and my kids were there. To give me a heads up so I could start looking for a new provider (considering how difficult it is to get in with anyone these days and when you do get an appointment it is at least 6-9 months out). Now I will experience a delay in my healthcare and most likely be without my meds until I can get established somewhere else. I never imagined being a middle class, hard working person with decent insurance wouldn't be enough to keep basic healthcare at Creekside. I am shocked at this decision. I didn't think Dr. Speaker was the kind of person who would abandon her patients simply because they can't afford it. Shameful! With everything happening in our country and the direction healthcare is going, we did not need this too. This is painful and heartbreaking to myself and I'm sure many other long time patients of hers. I am shocked as I have never had an unpleasant experience with the office staff nor Dr. Speaker. They are always warm, gracious and helpful. Dr. Speaker is a teacher at heart, as well as someone who works above and beyond for the patient. I'm fortunate in that a I don't need to go often but when I use the portal monthly to get prescription refills she responds right away with answers to any questions about insurance and options, if necessary. When I have my yearly physical, Dr. Speaker spends so much time with me that I begin to feel uncomfortable that we're holding up other patients waiting to see her - she is that thorough and present. And often I will walk out with referrals to specialists or names of someone/something in the community that may help. In summary, I can't say enough about Dr. Speaker. I don't know for sure how long I have been seeing her - probably around 20 years. In my 78 years I have been seen by many doctors, Dr. Speaker is the best at listening, teaching, responding and overall empathy to my health. When I finally arrived over a week later, I was greeted by Dr. Claire, who seemed like a lovely person. However, after taking my payment in full, she spent my paid time combing through my paperwork, which she hadn't bothered to review beforehand. I left feeling completely taken advantage of. She wanted an additional $180 for allergy skin tests, plus another $180 for the actual testing. If her rate is $180 an hour, then my initial payment of $300 essentially resulted in nothing more than a discussion of my paperwork! This experience feels unforgivable, and I believe that karma will catch up with her. Had she reviewed the paperwork properly, she could have provided valuable insights or recommendations that might have improved my situation. Instead, I feel cheated. This review serves as a reminder to future patients that they should clarify what is covered during the first consultation. Will it merely be a review of your paperwork, or can you expect actual medical advice? Also, I found the pricing of the chiropractor in her office to be excessively high as well!

I scheduled and the business canceled late night the night before. Twice!! The first time I chalked it up to ok I'll try again but then it happened again. I wasn't trying to schedule any more but I was texted reminding me I had one more stretch I had paid for. I explained that I want giving them another chance to cancel on me again and that my work schedule shifted to something very difficult to make it in during their hours and my off time and kindly asked for a partial refund for the 1 remaining stretch. I was called and reminded that I signed contract that was binding. I explained that in light of then breaking my trust and scheduled stretched it would be fair to refund the 1 stretch. I was given the runaround verbally to where I thought the person I was speaking with didn't even speak the same language as me because they did not directly answer any questions. I got upset and used one curse word. The person said that they would have the owner call me that night or the next night when he was available. That night came and gone and so have a dozen more. I texted them again and mentioned that I was just gonna write the review because he hadn't gotten to me. They assured me again that he was going to call me and many more nights have gone by again. The business doesn't stand behind any kind of contractual agreement so I wouldn't sign a contractual agreement with them based on their inability to follow through. Bad business practices, poor customer service and poor management. Definitely poor ownership. If you're gonna say you're gonna call somebody you should follow through that's number one in being an adult and a business owner. They own the one in Vancouver and Lake Oswego. Stay away you're better with a physical therapist.

That said, this business has really high turnover, so I am guessing they are as shady with employees as they are with customers. I signed up for a 3month contract. After having difficulty scheduling, I decided to terminate my contract in the 4th month. I still had 7 sessions left. When I tried to book one of my remaining sessions, they had disappeared from my account! I sent an email, and received a call and was told they would be reinstated. Two weeks later, nothing. So, I emailed again. I was told they would me reinstated. Again, nothing. I have now emailed twice with no response. At this point, I won't set foot in there again. I don't want the sessions. I would like my money back, though.
