Giving credit where credit is due.... After expressing my displeasure to Sleep Tech, they were quick to remedy my situation.

Like many other reviews have already mentioned, it's impossible to call and get through to speak with someone in person. If I can't get through tomorrow, I'll go directly to the store. The sooner I can "finally" find out my account status with Sleep Technologies, and know that I am free-and-clear of any financial obligations, I will close my account and never do business with them again. I am also going to strongly encourage my health care provider to NOT recommend sending their patients to Sleep Technologies for services of any kind. Their lack of responsiveness and terrible/fraudulent business practices needs to continue to be called-out and if they don't change their manner of conducting business, they no longer deserve to continue do so. When you charge a patient (and their insurance) the cost of a complete headgear package (AirFit P30i Starter Pack @ $206.58 with all the parts and pieces included -- which can be purchased directly from ResMed for only $121.00) and on that same invoice -- recharge again for all of the individual parts and pieces that were already included in headgear package, then fail to provide those extra individual parts and pieces that were paid for, that's called FRAUD and THEFT. The means by which I caught Sleep Technologies in this scam was by checking my EOB against their billing invoice. I was over billed total of $182.24 -- $11.39 (the amount I paid) + $170.85 (the amount my insurance/Medicare paid). The total cost of what should have been a single $121.00 headgear package, ended-up costing $388.82 through Sleep Technologies. Since people rarely, if ever, go through this checking process Sleep Technologies has most likely been getting away with this scam for years. And if they are doing this with all their patients, I can only imagine that this fraudulent means of conducting business has potentially cost patients and insurances thousands of dollars over the years (and that's with headgear sales alone). It would behove the Washington State Insurance Commission to investigate and conduct an extensive audit into Sleep Technologies, which is what I am recommending that they do. read more

Beware: this company will send you supplies and then bill your insurance several months later. It is a scam. If you cancel your service you get stuck paying for all those supplies out of your own pocket. I haven't used my cpap since March and I am still paying for supplies they sent me last year and still get weekly calls to order more supplies. I have told them to take me off the call list several times. I have informed my neurologist not to direct pt's to this company anymore as a result. read more

I went to the Vancouver office and was treated so well. They are professional and kind The associate who helped me was very patient and answered all my questions She even helped me with the auto on-loff switch. I couldn't turn it on. She showed how to turn another switch off so that the on-off switch option would work. The other company I had been dealing with, Performance Home Medical could not help me. They kept saying I would have to have a tech professional fix it but there were no tech professionals. So so frustrating. I'm sticking with Sleeptech. read more

I've been a patient of theirs for several years. I get good service when I go into their office and talk to a live person. However their billing, online, and phone services leave much to be desired. They recently billed my credit card for something I did not receive. I tried phoning them, but cannot get a live person. I tried contacting them online but their web address doesn't work. I managed to log into my account to turn off "auto-pay" (I don't recall ever turning it on) and am told that I cannot turn it off. They seem to have a very efficient system in place to keep me but not my money away. read more

Everyone at sleep tech have been very knowledgeable and made us very comfortable. The problem I have with them is with my mothers cpap equipment. We have been there 3 times in the last year and called several times. My mom told them the mask didn't work for her. They said it was not tight enough. 2nd time there same thing. The third time we were told to try a new mask type she would need a prescription from her doctor. So we got it. Again the sleep tech just said the mask needs to be adjusted tighter to fit her. So no different mask style. They seem to just not listen to her. I finally ordered new masks ( 2 from Amazon). The different style fits better and now she wears it every night. read more

Sleep Technologies is an excellent provider for treating Sleep Apnea! From the moment I walked in, I received a friendly and professional welcoming from Megan, the front office staff. She was very helpful in explaining the services Sleep Technologies provided as well as information about insurance billing for equipment and supplies I would need. I was assigned to Carlos, a Clinical Specialist, who was extremenly knowledgeable of C-PAP equipment and supplies. After gathering pertinient medical information about me, Carlos identified the best equipment to meet my needs. He too was very professional and answered all my questions. This place sucks out loud. I bought my cpap machine from them and discovered they had stolen the heated tubing that came with the machine. Then sold to me another tubing that I did not need and did not go with the machine. They also violated my privacy under HIPAA rules. They phoned me just to try to sell me something. That is a violation because medical business cannot use your personal information for marketing purposes. Not only did they violate my right to privacy by using my personal info for marketing purposes, they hired people so dumb they cannot communicate properly. The sales lady asked my name, then stated "You are available to purchase more supplies" which made no sense. I'm "available" ??? What the hell are you saying? She continued to repeat that dumb phrase until I called her out on it. I asked if this was a sales call and she denied it. Four times I asked her if this was a sales call and finally she said, "Well, we checked your insurance and they said you were eligible for more supplies. What would you like to order?" I yelled at her for violating my right to privacy, that this was a sales call and why was she lying about it, she giggled and hung up. I guess they just wanted to screw with me. or they were bored so they looked up private medical information to phone me for kicks. What kind of medical supply company does that? This is so incredibly unprofessional and I will never purchase anything from them again. A claim to OCR is in order. Using a patient's personal medical information is illegal and the Office of Civil Rights would want to hear about this violation. This company should be put out of business. read more
