I absolutely love Sleeping Tiger Tattoo! I have been coming here since November 2024 and have had excellent experiences every time. They are professional, kind, hilarious, and attentive to your needs. I've been tattooed by Trevor and Nick and they are masters at their craft. Chef's kiss! I've seen Willy do some insane tattoos. The studio is decorated with beautifully macabre artwork and is kept immaculately clean. They are active on social media and respond quickly to questions. I recommend this studio to anyone and everyone who compliment my tattoos.

My appointment was for 12pm, went over the design with Tattoo Artist Willy who is also the owner of the Tattoo shop. After going over all the details he began at 12:30pm. During the session all I can say is he was very professional throughout the entire process. Very clean shop, had some music in the background, and any questions or concerns I had he answered. By 7:30pm he was finished with the Tattoo. The legit amount of detail and time he focused in on is amazing. I absolutely 100% love the design and Tattoo. I'd highly recommend him and his shop to anyone wanting to get a tattoo. You pay for what you get in my opinion. Before leaving he explained how to care for the tattoo and if I had any issues to call him. Yet personally I've had previous tattoos and if you don't care for them properly then yes you can get an infection and have problems. All I can say is he is the go to guy I will return to for the touch ups on my previous ones and a another one going on my leg.

We've been working on my entire huge back piece from my shoulders down to my crack. Her work is so beyond beautiful I had to ask her to do a tattoo of the personal painting she painted herself. We've been working on it for a year now and still going. I'd definitely recommend Megan. She has a lot of flash art and interesting different designs you can work with and she can draw up whatever you want.

I've been getting tattoos by Willy since 2019, and it was only natural to continue getting tatted by him in his shop Sleeping Tiger. Willy himself is phenomenal: insanely talented, extremely professional, and a genuinely good person who will give you a piece of art every single time. The entire shop is amazing, and all of the artists' there are fantastic, and incredibly kind. I've traveled all over the states and overseas, and the number one question I get is where did you get your tattoos done -- without fail, it is always the ones done by Willy. If you're thinking of getting a tattoo, regardless if you have hundreds of ones already, or if this is your first one, go to Sleeping Tiger. You'll be spoiled for any future experience that doesn't involve Willy and the crew from there on out. read more

First time at this shop and I gotta say I was impressed. As soon as you walk-in you'll notice just how clean and organized the whole shop is. The artist I had was Kurtis who I came across via Instagram. I was impressed with his work and am glad I reached out. From booking the appointment to the tattoo actually being worked on the whole process was very easy. Kurtis did not disappoint, I gave him a reference photo I had for what I was looking for and when I arrived for the appointment he had drawn up a couple ideas with slightly different variations such as different directions of the tail and different way the ears for the cat looked to give me a couple options. He gave some really great advice on the different variations which helped me make the decisions I made for the final drawing. He made the first experience here very comfortable and I will be recommending this shop and Kurtis to everyone. I will definitely be back for more in the future, and a huge thank you again for this super cute kitty read more

Will's work is beyond exceptional. Super stoked on his new shop and bringing more spotlight to talented artists. As someone who has had most of their tattoos done twice - always shop for quality and aligning vision with your artist, never cost. Will is punctual with his appointments and artwork and will respond to your DM's. By far the best experience I've had getting tattooed by more than a handful of shops around town. read more

The only variable I didn't define if the font. I assumed the tattoo artist would know best what would work. For some reason, they wanted me to provide artwork. I get it, you do a lot of work and everybody wants something different, but I just wanted a name and date, since the size was specified, the only thing left to debate was the type style. For some reason, they couldn't or wouldn't quote me, I was told that there was a good chance it would be the shop minimum, but they couldn't confirm and with it being 110 degrees, I didn't want to be shuffling up and down the strip when any competent shop should have been able to quote me in advance. That did in fact happen here, and when the people at Illuminati were clear and told me they would present me with font choice that didn't elevate their quote, I ended up using them. I have no idea how much money flows through Vegas, but when people come here, they come to spend. Pardon me if I like to know in advance what I'm spending. So unless Yelp has changed their policy that a review is a unique experience, I trust that this detailed account of Revolt satisfies the terms and conditions I agreed to. Moderation is great, but without integrity, the review system breaks down.

The fact that you claim the only way to get your best service is to come in is exactly how and why you earned a single star review. So here is my PSA if you care to rectify what you did wrong. Disarm customers. People have stigmas about tattoo. For some it could be the price, for others it could be the pain and for some it could be the quality. I know what I wanted was so vanilla, that anyone could not only do it, but do it quickly. Originally, I thought Koolsville could do it and I'm sure they could, but in reflection, I didn't want a tattoo that was going to fade or not look like a paid full price. If I had a car and parking wasn't an issue, I might have popped in on all the shops I considered, but again, knowing that what I wanted was a 1 on a scale of 1-10 in terms or effort or expertise, I just wanted to know I was going to get what I needed without being ripped-off or dismissed. The shop that I ended up using understood what I wanted, was able to confirm pricing ahead of time and ASSURED ME, IF I CAME IN, I'D BE TAKEN GOOD CARE OF. I reached out to them about having work done while I was on vacation. Rather than call them rude or abrasive, which they were, I'll just say they were dismissive. Based on that interaction, I continued to request quotes from other vendors before being treated with respect by Illuminati Tattoos. So, unless Yelp has changed their policy and reviews now require a documented exchange of money. That is my first-hand recount of contacting Black Spade. Some times you got to call a spade a spade.

I gave them my phone so they could show the owner the image, and he provided a quote through them. When I asked basic follow up questions about the artwork, neither employee could answer them. The owner then stated that Americana Tattoo Co. was not technically open. As the owner, he should take responsibility instead of using that as an excuse. The door was open, I was allowed inside, and there was no clear communication indicating that the shop was closed. If Americana Tattoo Co. does not want customers entering before its official opening time, the door should remain locked and the hours should be clearly displayed. Anyone placed at the front should also understand the services, pricing, and basic artistic process or know how to connect customers with someone who does. This is an ownership and staff training issue that Americana Tattoo Co. can correct. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and creates a more professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming experience for future clients.

During the 2 question he asked, Joseph's only response was "you should let the artist be an artist" in a very rude tone. He then proceeded to cancel the entire tattoo saying we were "micromanging". I have MANY tattoos and have worked with many artists who gladly went over the tattoo and the design choice before starting with no issue. Joseph is not your artist if you like to collaborate, have an elaborate design, or even have a question about any aspect of the piece. Maybe Joseph has forgotten that this tattoo is going to be on his customer FOREVER. It was embarrassing and rude to just make us leave after showing nothing but respect to him and the shop. If he cant deal with a couple questions from a customer - he's in the wrong business. Hopefully this saves someone the headache of dealing with this unprofessional tattoo diva
