My pastries; all of them were sooo delicious!

I'm in Palisade for a few days and like I always do, I decided Yelping in this cute wine town. And my very first stop was this quaint bakery, "Slice O Life". This is such a cute bakery. As I was standing in line to get a few to several items (baked goods), a young man came out from the back and asked us (people in line) if we had any espresso oriented beverages we'd need to order. Great customer service as when I got to the register and was picking what I wanted he came back from the back and placed my double espresso right in front of me (great timing because I almost forgot about my espresso!!) I am celebrating my 26th anniversary of being in the U.S. (moved here from Japan on June 8th, 1996!) so I decided to get me three sweet items: Peach Shortbread Cookie, Chocolate Brownie Tart (not sure if this is the exact name of it), and Peach/Lemon bar. They are just the right size that even if I eat them all in one sitting, it will not be a sugar overload. Although I was able to finish the whole cookie, I only took a few bites of the tart and bar. All of them are so delicious! Palisade is a peach country so you cannot go wrong with anything that has peach as an ingredient. Its almost 5-star reviews speak for the shop's popularity. The locals must love this place dearly as if something like this existed in my very neighborhood of DTC, I'd go there at least a few times a week. I highly recommend this place if you are in Palisade for a wine or peach getaway!

Great coffee and pastry. Staying at the Wine Country Inn and wanted some breakfast before getting on the wine trolley.

Lovely bakery in downtown Palisade. Treats were delightful & coffee was perfect. Tons of different things like sandwiches, quiche, Ham & Cheese rolls....Give it a try!

We had the ham and ham/turkey combo sandwiches. A+ on the sandwiches. Zetti Zuchinni side salad is worth getting. Extremely quick service.

If you are a green leafer like me, this is the absolute best stuff money buys. I do not typically use extracts, and after one dose of Emerald Forest, I feel I will just save the powder extract for a special occasion. My sister, who put me on to TOP, insisted that I try Eufloria, so I picked up a hundred grams as well. I can't wait to try it, but I'll wait for my day off to be safe. Emerald forest is the most effective basic strain that I've ever encountered. I use 3 to 4 grams twice daily. The only non extracted powder I need is EF. Untouchable! Thanks TOP. You have a customer for life!

Let me just saw that we did not have a lot of faith when he pulled water from a dispenser and I could not see a milk steamer anywhere in the building, but we let him go about making our science lab lattes while he made small talk. He dusted our lattes with cinnamon, handed us the cups and we sipped easily the best lattes we have ever had. This place might look dicey for great coffee but this guy probably spent months staying up at night with his little contraptions and beakers perfecting his craft. Highly recommended.
