2 Peach Pies, one with blueberry

Pies were perfect! Cookies were delicious! Service was amazing! Outdoor seating area was a lovely place to be! If I didn't live 5hrs away I'd eat here every single day!

Love this menu on the wall.

If you are in Palisade, you have something peachy; after all, this is a peach lovers' paradise! After visiting Anita's other store, I came to this place to have a slice of pie before Id head out to my winery hunting. And yup, I did get me a peach pie. What else, right? I was shocked to find out that this pie shop only has 3.5 stars on Yelp. To me, it's got all the elements to have at least 4-star review. It's got a nice/cute/quaint ambiance inside, great selections of cookies/pastries/pies (a slice of my peach pie was only $4.5) and their quality ingredients and great outdoor seating areas to name a few. And it's surrounded by peach orchard after another. The two ladies there were very accommodating and courteous. I guess this store simply needs more visits by Yelpers from big cities like Denver. Well, I, at least, contributed to add to their underrated reputation today. This store is a gem!

Awesome peach strawberry pie. You got to try it!

Wonderful people, wonderful service, so friendly and helpful. We're from out of state and found this awesome place using an app we have for camping. Really. They are out of town a bit, but not far and so very worth the very short drive. AND then there are their awesome pies. OMG! They are wonderful! We had a peach/ strawberry pie. I know it sounds weird, but it's to die for. So if you're coming down I-70 or US 6, take the time to pull off the highway for a bit and do yourself a wonderful favor. Get a pie from Palisades Pies in Palisades, Co. Oh! They even have the small individual pies and they have ICE CREAM.

Ummm Yum!! This place was such a gem and so fresh. I mean the fruits are literally growing right next door. Not to mention it has a great view. Def stop and have a slice!

We were driving from Los Angeles to Denver and decided we had to have a peach pie. I know Palisade is famous for peaches so we scoped out a place. It's a quaint charming little house and as soon as you walk it, the incredible aroma of freshly baked fruit pies welcomed us inside. A delightful lady emerged from the kitchen and greeted us warmly. We got 2 slices of peach pie, one ala mode and coffee. It was love at first bite!! I've never tasted anything so buttery, fresh and delicious. And to add to the charm it's served on actual China plates with a real fork. Not paper plates with plastic utensils. We ate peacefully in the patio outside, gazing at the surrounding peach tree orchard. The lady came out once to check with us to make sure everything was great, and it was! We purchased some jars of preserves to take home as gifts too. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. We'll definitely recommend Anita's Palisade Pies to our friends who are driving through

My favorite was the breakfast hand pie -- sausage, hash browns, eggs, cheese, and green chilis.

Lucky for me, looking for a brunch spot before wine tasting tour of the area, we found Clark & Co's Distillery. One of the first images that came up, when looking it up was their Bloody Mary, and we were sold! Came in as they were opening so got our pick of where to sit. They have table, and a long bar-style area looking the water. That's where we decided to sit. Peaceful view, distillery dog welcoming everyone that came in, loved it! Put in our order, we decided to share it as, it looked like a full meal, and glad we did. It came with the most delicious roasted peppers I've had in a while (could have eaten more of those), beef sliders, mac n cheese bites, olives, bacon, and okra. The Bloody Mary was really good too, spicy enough to give you that kick, and salty as it should be. And the faces of everyone seeing it come out, plus the pictures we were able to take of it were just the best. I can check that off my list of "To Dos" now and recommend everyone giving it a try. As we thought we got full with that, but looking at other people's food, everything looked great. One done, we went inside and looked at some merch, plus got to buy some of their distillery gin, and take some pictures with their beautiful peach blossoms. Great place to relax, and enjoy good food and drinks with friendly service, and a friendly (host) dog.

We were able to check in early for a wedding party and the staff were all very nice. When we come back to palisade we know where to stay. She seemed less than interested in our arrival. We'd arrived later in the evening. Our room was vey nice. Very comfortable. We decide to venture to the jacuzzi. No towels in the outside basket. We had to go inside to request clean towels. When the towels came out, we ask the young lady how to make the jets work in the jacuzzi? "Oh no, they're not working." No sorry, no other explanation, she just walked away. We did manage to get two jets working. It was pleasant. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. The lady preparing the food was very nice. Checking out was easy and the young gentleman pleasant. Trouble started after we left. Our fault. We'd left our swimsuits in the closet. Have to say, 30 years of traveling we have left things behind in our hotels. Kids left toys, pillows, blankets.... It does happen. Not often! I called when we realized this, Tuesday after we'd departed. I explained we'd left our swim suits hanging in the closet. The woman said she'd check lost and found??? I'd given her our room #. She said the cleaners had not finished their rounds yet and to call back later. Okay then, but I just gave you the room number and told you where they were? Again our mistake, but where is the customer service? I was told to call back at the end of the day. I called at the end of the day. Great swimsuits found. I was then told the person who sends packages would be in touch in a day or two. Okay then.... Nope. I called again on Friday, giving the full two days for someone to call. I was then told the person is new and must have missed it. Okay, what now? Well, "you have to make a USPS for your package and we will send it on Thursday". What? "That's the day we send out mail". You cannot be serious. Why was I not told this when I initially called. I would not have to wait another week. Customer service is a big issue here. I should say severe lack of customer service! So disappointing. Yes we did get our suits. Again our fault for leaving them, but I never had such poor customer service.

We tried a number of different products. My favorite was probably the chocolate/strawberry mead - yum! However, as many know, the alcohol content of mead can get pretty high and I didn't want to be plastered for the entire day. Overall, I think we tried 11 different items (try their tasting flights), but in the end, I settled on a glass of the white merlot, closely beating out the red merlot that my wife ended up selecting. Given the great weather, we ended up sitting in the gazebo outside and had a lovely time. The staff is very personable and knowledgeable. As I said, the problem for me is that they have such a large selection. I would definitely have the chocolate strawberry mead again, but would probably decide to uber there so that I can have an entire bottle. I definitely recommend trying out this place.
