But they smile and they laugh at me when I roll my eyes and tell them that I know I'm difficult. I truly appreciate that they have high-quality fresh produce, excellent meats, pantry staples, a quality selection of crackers and cookies, Bread Works bread, and the best local ice creams. But they also have ready to bake hors d'oeuvres and fancy little tidbits for a last-minute party. I don't know what our neighborhood would do without them.

The Crispy Chicken was delicious, had much more a kick than I was expecting. As did the Corn Chowder. But the flavors were remarkable. The corn chowder had so much going on but was never unpleasant. The two caused a bit of heartburn for me so might keep that in mind if I were to ever try their options that are actually advertised as spicy. Minor gripe - ordered a diet Pepsi that never came. The pistachio pesto was very unique and tasted bright, fresh and nutty. The ricotta was creamy and fresh and the focaccia was herby and crunchy and airy.....I honestly regret not just getting a piece of it on its own. The potato and leek soup was so comforting and rich but not overly heavy. I am in love with this place. I want more soup now.
