Tried to order in the Drive Thru but couldn't hear her and she couldn't hear me. So, I went inside. Ordered an 8 piece meal. I had to ask if they had Lemon Pepper as it wasn't on the menu. They did have it. So, I ordered half Lemon Pepper and half Asian Chili. I was given all lemon pepper. You literally couldn't taste any lemon pepper at all. Fries are just ok. Not a fan of their toast and this time one piece of toast was burned. Waste of $12 and calories. I have tried this place several times and never satisfy me. Last time they didn't have any bbq sauce of any kind. I was going to order 50 pieces for New Years Eve, but nope. I will go to Wingstop. No fork or napkins in thr to go bag either.

Another view where the Texas toast is blocking everything.

This is not the first time I have eaten at a Slim's Chicken. My first time was over at Little Rock near UAMS, but this is the first time I am reviewing Slim's. This review is only for this branch, of course. We came here on a Saturday night. The place was not packed. We ordered 5 and 5 which consist of 5 wings and 5 tenders. Since we were still somewhat full from lunch, we were just sharing this. Being tight on a budget, we usually do not get a drink since I can just go and get a soft drink from the Sam's Club nearby that is more affordable. The person took our order was kind to us to comp us a drink. And, I was so grateful for this opportunity. I was able to try their peach tea, and it was peachin' awesome. I could not stop drinking that stuff. I hope they can bottle that and start selling it at the grocery store because I will surely get it by the gallons. So, when you visit here, make sure to get a drink because their peachin' great peach tea is to die for. As for the chicken, they were alright. It came with a huge Texas toast that was buttered and toasted just right. Their tenders were small though breaded lightly and cooked just right. The deal comes with 2 sauces, so we picked mango habanero and Sriracha garlic. Avoid the Sriracha garlic unless you just want spicy ketchup. It was not even that great of a ketchup. As for the mango habanero, it was the best sauce for tenders. It has the sweetness of the mango but have the punch of the habanero. The weird thing about it is that the spiciness was additive. At first, I could not stop dipping, but it eventually started burning my mouth. Thank goodness I have the peach tea to give me relief. The wings were tiny though. They were probably getting the wings from malnourished chickens. The seasoning on the wings were lacking. Thank goodness the mango habanero was plentiful, so I used it on the wings also. They were nicely cooked, crispy on the outside while tender on the inside. Overall, our experience with Slim's Chicken was great. The sauce was awesome. The chicken satisfying and well cooked, but most of all, the peach tea made it memorable. I suggest for you to go to Slim's Chicken for their peach tea.

So the food is great but this is my second time going and this time my chicken was still super pink. I don't know if the rest were pink the fact that I was eating them so fast but I caught a glimpse of this one and was confused.

Server None to speak of. The restaurant It's clean, bright, and nice. There is a nice collection of music playing, as well as 4 screens of various sports. Quite nice. The food The grilled chicken was perfectly done. I like that this restaurant didn't drown the fries in salt. Overall They deleted one of the sauces for the chicken that I really liked. The terriaki sauce. I will always drop a star for deleted items. The manager was very nice, asked about special diet considerations. He was very cordial. There was also a really nice patio with lights and it was dog friendly! I had the grilled shrimp avocado salad which was wonderful. Shrimp had lots of flavor and not overcooked, lots of fresh avocado and a good amount of goat cheese. It was really a delicious salad that filled me up but didn't make me feel weighed down. I did not drink any beer since I was working but they had a solid selection and I saw some good looking cocktails bring served as well. Eating at local places while I travel is such a plus when it's delicious food and a friendly server. I paid to park at the meter in the front but the back has a free lot. Would definitely eat here again!

First con is the hostess, blah greeting and we were sat in a place where the sun was shining directly on the table. Luckily the sun was setting so it didn't last long. Pro: waiter was friendly and helpful. Hubs wanted a dark beer but their selection was limited, he had the one recommended by the waiter. Pro: veggie pizza was delicious!! I had half of it left and took it with me. As we headed to the car there was these two homeless people so I gave it to them. Pro: nachos by my hubs actions that they were good and plentiful. Never really saw the rest of the restaurant because we were seated up front.

This is the second poor review I have written about this place and it has to do with the 'give a…read morecare' attitude of the hourly staff. The first review was sent privately so maybe the manager could address the issue but this second is a review for the rest of the Yelp community to be informed when making a late night dining choice. The food and special infused drink options ares good but may not be available starting at 8:45pm. The staff does not feel it is their duty to provide ALL of what Chipotle has to offer when they decide to start the closing checklist before the posted closing hour of 10pm. I am a leader who brings in about 15 customers starting at 8:45pm - 9pm and we like to dine at various places after a tough workout. We eat together, visit, and get out of the place before 10pm. One of our families has the app and ordered on the way 15 minutes before arriving. After waiting 10 minutes at the pick up area, they inquired about the order and the staff had not even checked the tickets, so they said "you're gonna have to wait because I got to make it." When I picked up my order and went to get one of the 4 infused tea/water options, all 4 were empty. I informed the staff and one member looked me straight in the eye and said with a monotone, who cares kinda way "....ok...." and went back to cleaning up for closing. This Chipotle evening staff does not care. When they run out of anything (food, drink, chips) they offer on the menu, they will not make more if it's within 1.5 hours of closing. I would hope the francise owner would address this problem but I don't have high hopes. (ambiance) As far as the dining area goes, it's not horrible but they don't wipe the eating areas clean between customers, at least in the evening when we are there, so we have to get napkins and do it ourselves. Bottom line, I'll still go here if I must because the group just accepts the lack of care in the staff and likes whatever they have left. I will be moving our workout hours back to try the new Blazin' Burrito and if they have the same quality of food with a staff that wants to be there serving customers, then we will give them the business.

They have a variety on their menu! Back in Texas I've always wanted to try Papaya Salad luckily I got to try it here for the first time. My plate consisted of papaya salad, wings, and sticky rice. Wings cooked to perfection, great crunch simple no sauce mixed in. I dipped the wings in a chili not spicy whatsoever. The papaya salad you had the option to choose the Lao or Thai style: I went with the Lao style which had shrimp paste a little more pungent. Loved it, it was refreshing and spicy to my likings. I was able to choose how many peppers to add. Two peppers were enough for me, not crazy spicy just enough for me. Definitely worth for what you pay for because there portions were HUGE. Volcano chicken was great, not too spicy and had a sauce with different chilies. The Pad Kee Mao had so much flavor to it. I ordered a combination which had chicken, beef, pork, and shrimp. Loved the thick noodles, bunch of veggies to which is a great balance. Topped it off with some sriracha for some extra kick. Overall, I could tell this place made the food with love. Our waitress was super nice and helpful! In the future once I'm back in this area I'd love to try more off their menu.

Bright, freshly made, a noticeable egg yok flavor, smooth, filled with strands of egg white. Big crispy wonton strips on the side provide a satisfying crunch. Mouthwatering deliciousness! I got the Orange Chicken lunch special. A plate full of fried chicken breast chunks, bathed in sauce that was orange in color and very orange in flavor. Fried rice and a good egg roll. It was great. My wife got the winning meal; Ultimate Fried Rice. And Ultimate it was. Fried rice with big shrimp, chicken, beef and pork. I tasted of each of the meats. The beef and the pork were my favorites. My wife liked the shrimp. I thought the beef was delicious. Very nice lean cuts of beef, with a flavor like home made pot roast. The pork was of equal quality. The Ultimate Fried Rice is recommended. Ft Smith has many fine Asian restaurants. Asian Kitchen Express was recognized a few years ago as one of the top Asian carry out restaurants. Whether you eat in or grab food to go from this very small shop, it is one of the best in Ft Smith. Friendly service and great food.
