I went there not knowing much about what they offered other than chicken..lol So upon entering we were greeted. Took a moment to look over the menu and decided to order but before I asked the cashier what's his go to and he recommended the tender meal with buffalo sauce, so I took his advice but got my sauce on the side and upgraded to fried pickles instead of fries, and my friend ordered the chicken sandwich meal. We decided to dine in, it was clean and neat. Our food came out fairly fast. They brought the food to our table and asked if we needed anything. My tenders were crispy, tender, and juicy; fried pickles were salty but the ranch dip helped. The chicken sandwich meal my friend ordered had a dried out chicken breast which you could actually see how dry it looked once bitten into, which was upsetting considering how juicy and tender my tenders were. So I swapped out the dry chicken for one of my tenders to make a better sandwich. Needless to say I was ok with what I ordered but my friend was not. Not worth recommending or going back.

Came here today 6/18 for dinner wanted to try something different or new. I love all the different chicken options from tenders to wings to sandwiches. They have 14 different sauces you can use. And dessert strawberry cheesecake in a jar and chocolate brownie pudding and key lime pie all in jars and I tried the strawberry cheesecake and it was delicious. I ordered the tender Mac bowl which was so good. My husband got the wings and he enjoyed them. Overall a successful dinner. Parking was very convenient and service was great staff was super helpful and kind. The restaurant was clean and plenty of seating. Will have to come again.

Kids meal is a wonderful value. You can choose a variety of meal options but I got the 2 piece tender meal. It came with tenders, fries, toast, and a drink all for $5.99. However, I was expecting juicy chicken per their table cards on they make the chicken. The chicken was extremely dry and has little to no flavor. I got 5 sauces for $1.99 which was a pretty nice option especially for it being my first time and wanting to sample different sauces. Every sauce I got was great! Toast was very simple but was buttered on both sides and was extra crispy. Only downfall was that it was sandwich bread. Shake came with a wider straw which was great especially since it has thicker consistency.

Rather underwhelming. The food was just kinda OK, and why would I ever come here when I have Chick-fil-A or canes or a dozen other chicken places? I just don't understand the thought process of putting the most unfriendly and stone face person at the register who just stares at you as you walk in. I mentioned it was my first time I was hoping for some type of recommendation or a menu explanation, but she just stood there looking at me with an unfriendly face. I just ordered the three-piece tenders with the fries and the Texas toast, and it was just OK, nothing to write home about, nothing to make me ever. wanna come back here again. The chicken was OK. One of the three tenders was too chewy and was unseasoned. The fries were basically lukewarm, and the bread was overly greasy. The unsmiling register lady brought my food out and mumbled something about, "Sorry for the wait" Good concept and the marketing is enough to bring people in once. I just don't know if many will return for a second visit.

The service was very quick. The items I tried tasted fresh. I tried the brownie, strawberry cheesecake, and key lime pie jars, and they all were so good and the portions were just right. I also tried the tenders with the spicy bbq sauce, and the sauce was fire.

Wow, that was a pleasant surprise! To be honest, I am not a big chicken tenders fan. I like dark meat! However, Slim Chickens was a new place to try and hey, they have fried okra, so I was in. The restaurant is a trendy looking place with plenty of parking. The interior is clean and simple. Their menu is very simple with only a few choices. The person at the register wasn't overly friendly, but did get our order right. Alright, so we did try the tenders. Rather than french fries, I got the fried mushrooms and my wife got the okra. The surprise was that even though they don't do a lot, what they do, they do extremely well. Move over DQ Country Basket! While I am not a tender fanatic, the breading was really good and the chicken well seasoned and moist. I chose the country gravy as my sauce. It was as good as I've ever had. The fried mushrooms were also as good as I've had and the okra not far behind. The final surprise was the Texas toast. It was buttery and garlicky and again, some of the best that I've had. Not expecting to say this, but I will definitely be back! Slim Chickens is one of the true exceptional chicken joints! Thank you for the country gravy, mushrooms and okra! It made my soul happy!

Slim Chickens is a fun chicken joint specializing in tenders and wings. They have multiple basket options with different quantities of tenders, wings, or both. I went with the 3 & 3 Meal which comes with 3 tenders and 3 wings. For sauces I got the Slim Sauce and the Cayenne Ranch. My Bf got the same meal but with Mango Habanero and Garlic Parmesan. We both really liked the Cayenne Ranch and the Garlic Parmesan. The Slim Sauce was okay, but nothing special. Neither of us liked the Mango Habanero. It was too Mango and not enough Habanero. The wings were good - nice and crispy. I got mine with the Lemon Pepper dry rub. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Overall it was a good experience - I'm looking forward to trying them again soon.

I decided to finally stop by here to try a new chicken place nearby and I'll have to say I enjoyed their food. The service inside is absolutely great even after we ordered employees were coming by asking to take any garbage or to see if we needed anything else , also the attentiveness of the employees when someone leaves they make sure and clean the tables chairs and everything. When we went it was pretty busy inside and the had TVs , wasn't too loud. Now to the food I really wanted some chicken and waffles which I thought were really good and would definitely order again. We also tried one of there salads which were a good size and the grilled chicken on top was great. Overall a great place that I will definitely be back to.

We finally decided to check out the new Slim Chickens off Bullard and McDowell. First impressions were solid--friendly staff and a large, diverse menu, which is always a plus. For my fellow foodies, here's what we ordered: the Buffalo Mac & Cheese meal (comes with a small drink and a piece of toast), the Chicken Club Sandwich, and the 5 Tender Combo. Total? A whopping $40. Starting with the Buffalo Mac & Cheese--flavor-wise, it was solid. Creamy, cheesy, with a decent buffalo kick. But the chicken on top was cold, which was disappointing. And for nearly $10, the portion size was underwhelming. Honestly, Chick-fil-A offers a similar-sized bowl for about half the price. The tenders? Probably the highlight of the meal. They were juicy and flavorful. We tried both the Ranch and Slim Sauce--both were excellent, with the Slim Sauce being the standout. I'd say the chicken here stands up better on its own than Raising Cane's, but let's be real--Cane's sauce + toast combo still hits harder. Now the Chicken Club Sandwich... just sad. The chicken filet was tiny, the bun overwhelmed it, and it came with one lonely strip of bacon. Overall, it felt like an afterthought and definitely not worth ordering again. Final verdict: Friendly service and decent tenders, but overpriced for what you get. There's potential here, but the portion sizes and quality need to match the price tag. Not rushing back anytime soon.

I will never return to this location. We ordered our food at 1:03 PM and didn't get it until around 1:40 PM. Several other people were also waiting on delayed orders, and there were no apologies or communication from the staff. When the food finally came out, it was terrible. The chicken wings were old, stale, and had barely any sauce. The fried mushrooms were mushy instead of crispy, the fries were cold and tasted old, and the mac & cheese didn't look edible. The chicken tenders were decent, but nothing special--honestly, Cane's unseasoned tenders are better. Waiting almost 40 minutes for food that looked and tasted like this was a huge disappointment. Won't return and do not recommend
