Originally, my husband was going to order the birria pizza but when we called to order for takeout, the owner told us they no longer did any of the birria, sushi or teppanyaki dishes because the chefs they had for those items were no longer employed there and he didn't want to offer food he wasn't great at making. I can respect that. Luckily, I had my eye on the catfish and shrimp basket from the get-go and it was phenomenal! Two large flavorful fillets of catfish, half a dozen or more jumbo shrimp, each piece fried so it was still succulent inside but lightly spiced and crunchy on the outside. I loved the fries, crinkle cut, which aren't normally my favorite type, but these were soft on the inside and crisp on the outside and perfectly golden brown. I didn't even need ketchup or any kind of sauce with them! Hubby had a pulled pork sandwich and it was so juicy and flavorful, little sweet, little smokey, and with coleslaw on top to give it a nice bite and freshness. And it was messy in the best way, juice running down his arm and off the elbow, but it was so good that he didn't even care! He also had the Philly cheesesteak egg roll and these things are huge! They're like pillows for baby dolls, but stuffed with all the goodness of a great dream! Highly addictive! And it smelled so good that we tucked right in and forgot to take pictures!
