I spent a ton of money so that I could try a big variety of things and was pretty disappointed. I ended up throwing away more food than I ate. My waffle from my chicken and waffles had a big giant hair baked right into the middle of it, the fried pickles were too salty to eat, my cayenne chicken sandwich was rubbery, tough and overall inedible. Chicken fingers, fries, toast. This location for Slim chickens was overall a very pleasant experience. We ordered our food at 6:55 and were given our order at 7:05 so the service was fairly quick granted we ordered our chicken fingers and fries extra crispy. We tried four different sauces; garlic Parmesan, spicy BBQ, cayanne ranch, and regular ranch. All of the sauces were delicious, especially the Cayenne ranch and the Spicy BBQ. The temperature of the restaurant was very cold. They had the AC set at a very low temperature. This is common with fast food, restaurants and efforts to get customers in and out quickly overall, it's really hard to mess up chicken fingers and fries but it's also very hard to master chicken fingers and fries. We wouldn't say Slim chickens has mastered chicken fingers and fries, but we would say that they have done a very good job today. read more

Not feeling super slim after my Slims Meal, but that's to be expected when you get a big meal! The line for the drive through went out of the parking lot when I got there, which was only an indication that this was going to be good. There were two people taking orders ahead of the voice box, which was great. There was also a QR code you could scan to get the menu before you ordered. The lady who took my order was friendly and commented on my mask (always appreciated). I also like that near the window, there's a second lane, so if they bring your food out a tad earlier, you can drive around and get out of line and be on your way. That is a great addition so you're never held up if the car in front of you ordered a lot more food. The food itself was adequate and very well priced, I feel. I got the Slim's meal with an extra sauce (3 total). That's a total of five chicken tenders, fries, and a piece of toast with about a 24 oz drink (looking at it by sight here), and I spent just under $11 for that. The chicken was very good, didn't seem to be greasy at all like other chicken joints. The other thing I like is their amount of sauces to choose from. I got a Slim's sauce, a ranch, and a garlic parm. The slims was good, the ranch was great, the garlic parm wasn't to my liking but I can see how someone else might enjoy it. Overall good experience and decent food. Would I write home about it? Probably not. Unfortunately this location was a tad out of my way, but I'd go if I were hungry and passing by. I saw that they had country gravy for dipping which intrigued me so I decided to give Slim Chickens a go. When I placed my order I asked for a 7 piece tenders meal and a chicken sandwich with a shake. They then informed me that they were no longer doing anything with ice cream. So I asked for root beer which they were out of and so I inquired what they did have. They were seriously out of half of their drink options. I ended up with a lemonade and I added on several sauces to give everything a try. The food I recieved was completely wrong and nothing close to what I ordered. I was charged 10 dollars each for two 4 piece chicken nugget meals. I say chicken nuggets because they were literally the aize of McDonalds chicken nuggets. I tried the dipping sauces and the ranch dressing was rotten. I was so displeased that I didnt go back to get what I ordered because I dont think I trust anything that they will make. read more

I've never been more embarrassed in ordering lunch for a business meeting. I ordered a variety of wraps based on what was pictured on the website. Wraps do not even come close (much smaller, and not well put together) In addition, they didn't mark any of the boxes to indicate what kind of wrap it is. I opened the boxes outside the meeting room to try and figure out what was what and the boxes fell apart. Total mess and not cheap. 6 wraps with no sides and w/delivery $86! read more

Everyone was wearing masks and gloves and seemed like they had everything under control, despite just having opened up a week ago. I loved the vintage retro diner design. The bright interior feels welcoming and honestly felt like a cute causal date stop. Our chicken strips were tender, flavorful and breaded nicely. The toast, perfectly buttered, and fries both crispy and potatoey. We tried their mango habanero wings as well which was packed with flavor and a good amount of heat. My favorite thing was surprisingly their peach tea! It was so dang good. Like not too sweet but sweet enough and had the perfect touch of peach flavor. First time customer. Ordered 5x5 - 5 strips & 5 wings. When asked what dipping sauce I wanted, I answered the garlic and parm. When asked what wing sauce, I misunderstood, thinking the cashier didn't hear me and was asking the same question again. I again answered garlic and parm. I ended up with the same sauce on both. At least it's a good sauce. But by the end, the garlic flavor was really getting strong. It took 20 minutes to get our order, which seems pretty slow for a place considered fast-casual. At least they got the casual part right. But the chicken was good, flavorful and juicy. The fries are only average, and the Texas toast is near pointless; just a reason to charge more. Also, they don't have anything for me to drink - nothing sugar-, caffeine- and alcohol-free; so my only option was water. Also, they needed to be more diligent in cleaning. I watched this building be built and was so excited to try slim chickens! But unfortunately I never want to walk in there again. I just got the average chicken finger basket with sauces they recommended. My first bite of chicken I spit out because it had a weird taste. I kept taking bites to see what the taste was and then I took bites from other chicken tenders and realized that 3 of my 4 chicken tenders had a rotten taste. The chicken was completely bad. It was so disgusting. And the sauces had no flavor. Nothing special. Will never go here again. The thought of how the chicken tasted makes me want to vomit. And it was so crowded and loud. My wife ordered the Chicken Club sandwich meal. And we ordered the Fried Pickles. The only thing worth eating from mine was the tenders. I didn't get the Mac and Cheese, and the Toast was so limp, no flavor. The fries were cold and not worth eating. The pickles were soooo salty. The sandwiches really do taste good, BUT they did taste like a Chic-Fil-A knock off. The yellow tomato was gross and I took it off. Its not fresh as advertised at all. The prices are decent. I heard sooo much about Raising Cane's but I happened to drive by Slim Chickens so I checked it out. Tender and flavorful chicken, lots of options, and lots of food! I was very impressed and started to spread the word. The next day I happened to drive by Cane's and the drive through wrapped around the building and out into the street. I did not have the time for that. Months later I finally tried Canes and it doesn't even come close to Slim's! Less food, less, options, chicken wasn't as good, and it was more expensive! When we asked for additional dipping sauce, they said their individual was out for a while, and no one else knew how to make the sauce. Sad that they don't have stocked sauce for clients. My daughter starting working at Slim Chickens when they opened so we got to go for family night (so the employees can practice making the food). Free food always tastes good. :) It was delicious! The best chicken tenders I've ever had. We just got the Slim's kids baskets. Three tenders is plenty! The fries were good too. I wish the toast could've been a salad (that's a lot of carbs haha). Also, with all the yummy sauces, they should include two for free instead of one. One wasn't quite enough for the 3 chicken tenders. Just to make sure the "free" aspect wasn't affecting the quality, I went again. Just as good as before! The tenders were juicy and hot. The fries were perfect and the sauces were great too.
