Chicken Katsu (added avocado) and Tiger's Blood soda
    M Y.

Got dinner after work here and loved it! Portions were HUGE - got the Chicken Katsu bowl and literally could not finish was so full. Super yummy and gorgeous presentation! Crispy chicken, fresh pickled onions and salad with japchae, and sauces on a bed of rice. And a Tiger's Blood soda to wash it down. Indoor decor is very clean and sleek. Placed the order on the kiosk up front, and sat down and the chef came to my table to bring all the food over to me which was really nice of him. Def a must go next time you're in the area!

Check out the before and after pictures. Before, chicken n rice + salad, looking real good. After, completely gone. Food is outstanding and freshly made to order. This is not "fast food", although I was in and out in about 30 minutes. $13 for meal and large coke. Impressive how they operate this business with technology to place orders.

My dish was pretty good! A classic sweet and sour chicken with white rice and a side salad. I think the only thing I would've liked was if the cold salad was not touching the hot rice and chicken. To me, salad should be eaten separately from the protein/grain, but that's a personal preference. The service was what you'd expect from 2 chefs cooking for everyone that walks in. The ambiance felt a little empty and it left something to be desired.

I decided to try this place since I was in the area and saw that it had 4.5 stars. I walked in and was surprised that it was a self-order (iPad) restaurant. Nobody was here to greet us or take our order. There was also nobody around the tables. There were only two people working in the kitchen. The meal was about $12 per person, which wasn't bad. I looked at my meal and was immediately disappointed. The spicy sauce was not mixed in like it usually is, and everything looked pretty bland. The japchae was very plain, tasted just like sesame oil with two pieces of bell peppers. The meat was a little dry and the spicy sauce was a bit overpowering. The salad was also very average, and I wish there was more rice. I've had lots of Korean food before and this definitely didn't hit the spot.

Visited the Angry Korean while in West Jordan, Utah and it was amazing! We both had the Sweet And Tangy Fried Chicken Bowl! The bowls had Crispy fried chicken glazed in a sweet and tangy sauce, served with steamed rice, fresh lettuce, and pickled red cabbage, topped with a drizzle of creamy dressing and sesame seeds! Absolutely delicious! We ordered and paid at the kiosk which I really like! The food was ready quickly and was nice and hot! You clean off your own table which I'm totally fine doing! It was a really delicious meal in a super clean environment!

Yay for local Korean food!! When I walked into the Angry Korean, my first thought was "Wow, it's so clean in here!!". This place is very well kept. I liked the self-order kiosk and pickup window situation they have. Fast, efficient, and great for those who are more introverted! After chatting with chef about which bulgogi beef dish is more popular, I decided on the deluxe Bulgogi Bowl and you can tell in the picture it was a beautiful sight to behold. I really enjoyed my noodles and the egg and rice. I love bulgogi beef so much so that I ordered extra on the side but unfortunately that was the let down of the dish for me. It wasn't bad, however in my opinion it wasn't as flavorful as other bulgogi beefs I've had in the past. Maybe it'll be different another go around. I would love to come again! I think next time I will give the garlic/ginger chicken bowl a try. Check this place out!

It was pretty good! We came when it wasn't busy. Got a couple bowls, the bulging I quesadilla and the junkyard fries. Our favorite was the spicy pork bowl and junkyard fries but I enjoyed it all. Plenty of seating, nice and clean. Very well located across from the theater and next to a Coldstones for dessert afterwards. Definitely recommend giving it a try, especially if you like Korean fusion!

Been wanting to try this place out for a while! Interesting setup with minimal interaction with the restaurant workers. We enjoyed our bowls and thought it was a delicious meal. However, we were sad to see that there's no soup option on the menu; and the chicken wings were okay-good. Worth the try though it is not my most favorite.

Beef Bulgogi Rice Bowl with strawberry lemonade

This place is an introverts dream. You walk in and there are tablets to place your order on and water is self served. When your food is ready they just call out your order number or name and that's all the human contact really required. I had planned on getting the salmon bowl, but I didn't see it on the menu when I was ordering. Due to this, I ordered the Beef Bulgogi Rice Bowl with a strawberry lemonade. The rice bowl was great and the foods presentation looked great as well! The flavors were excellent and I would recommend stirring everything together before eating so you're not stuck just eating rice when you get to the end. The lemonade was super sweet. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I wasn't a big fan of it. I actually ended up adding some water to it to be able to drink it. The experience was great and they have condiments and utensils near the pick up window so you can get everything you need. I'll definitely be going back to try more!

Wow wow wow wow wow! South Jordan is lucky to have this place because it was certainly worth the hour plus drive for us to get to. We ordered two rice bowls: a chicken katsu and beef bulgolgi bowl. Both were stacked to the rim and so tasty and fulfilling, but our favorite was the chicken katsu bowl. They came out quickly after we ordered at the kiosk but it was also absolutely dead for a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend their food! I know we'll be back soon!

Someone please bring me a bucket of water! The food here, while flavorful, was intensely salty! We ordered the Beef Bulgogi Rice Bowl ($15.99) and Beef Bulgogi Soft Tacos ($13.99). Everything tasted good, except the star ingredient: the beef bulgogi. It was so incredibly salty that it tasted nasty! The chef really needs to get his taste buds checked. I don't know how anyone can eat this meat!!... It's such a shame because I really liked the concept and the portion sizes were great for the price.

You walk in and order from the POS (Point Of Sale) machines located on your left. If using cash, you go directly to the "window" located past the POS machines. You seat yourself and when they call out your name, you pick up your order. There are half sheet pans available on the bar type table near where you pick up your food. You can use the pans as your tray to put your drinks and dishes on and carry back to your table. When done eating, you take the dishes toward the hallway that has a trash container and rolling shelves to put your dirty dishes on. The food was good. My sister loved her beef bulgogi that she added sweet potato (glass) noodles to (additional charge) . I ordered chicken katsu rice bowl. Added 2 mandu and a fried egg for an additional charge. The mandu was vegetarian and wasn't the best I've tasted although my sister enjoyed them a lot. I feel like chicken katsu is hit or miss at places. At Angry Korean it was a miss for me. It did not taste made to order, but rather like it had been made ahead of time and was sitting under a heat lamp. The side of chopped lettuce it came with had a very yummy peanut dressing. I tried my sisters bulgogi bowl and I would come back for the bulgogi bowl. The cheese fries were also a miss for me. The spice seasoning was good. The fries were meh and the generic nacho cheese sauce was not for me. I also had a mango lemonade which all totaled to $46.75 The two gentlemen who worked there were very nice and accommodating. Thanks for lunch Angry Korean.

    What is vegan here?

Japchae noodles with grilled tofu, you can also get the house salad and add on tofu to it was well. The tofu tacos are also a very popular item for vegans.

Do you know if they have any keto friendly menu options?

The options are not very keto friendly, but your best bet is to get a house salad with the sesame dressing and add meat for some protein and added fat. If you can, avoid the carrots and bell peppers since they have a higher net carb value.

It is one of the finer restaurants on the Wasatch Front, not just one of the finer Asian restaurants. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier.
