If I could give no stars I would. I came to slim chicken on 5/9 towards the end of the day. The girl that was taking the order was so rude you could here it in her voice. Even the person behind us told her she was rude and they had to make her switch with someone else to take the order. Then we get the wrong order for food and drinks. Did not want to ask for correct food because they had an attitude to get my sprite that I said they missed. As we are driving away they are in a circle just talking and not working. We've been coming since opening day!! I remember when doors opened, lines were out of the door last year!! Pretty good service and the food seemed toothsome and inviting! It was competing with Chick-Fil-A down the street for a hot minute. I always ordered a Slim's Meal that consists of Five Tenders and Slim sauce. FYI, the second dipping sauce costs like 50 cents which is crazy. The food is super pricy to begin and charging for the sauce just doesn't seem to make sense to me. Ever since opening day, I've dined here a total of 20 times each!! Jodi, always being respectful and wonderful in the drive thru ALWAYS WILL GET MY GOOD WORD OF MOUTH. She's amazing! I have the Slim Chicken App on my phone and you should save your receipts so you can add up your points to the app. You take a picture of the barcode and then get a small $5.00 off on the next order. When I first downloaded the app, I was happy to receive a free Cayenne Ranch Sandwich, which was delicious!! The burger consisted of Fried chicken breast with Cayenne Ranch sauce, lettuce, pickles, house-made fried onions & Cayenne seasoning on a toasted bun. The burger tasted very light and not as greasy as I thought. Slim's Chicken's jar desserts are delicious and for $5.00, you get a unique mason jar filled with chocolate chip cookie and once with strawberries. Now, on their menu is only Chocolate Chip Cookie and Waffle? Waffle seems to be new. Reason for my three stars are that the service has gone down lately. Drive thru was filled with young kids that never smiled and always forgetting my Slim Sauce even though I paid for them. Hands down the YUMMIEST macaroni and cheese I've ever had from a franchise or restaurant!! My 12yr old son agrees and inhaled his Mac bowl! I ordered delivery through their website and I got my delivery super fast too! So if you want to bowl of good, yummy, wholesome, creamy and melt in your mouth cheesy, you must order the Mac bowl!! I work nearby and did the drive through. Two very pleasant ladies took my payment, gave me a receipt and gave me my order. My order was correct. I got the Hungry Meal with a large unsweetened tea. The chicken is not heavily breaded and taste good without sauce. I tried the Slim sauce and the Cayenne Ranch sauce. Both were great but I the Cayenne best of the two. We've been to Slim Chickens a few times and have never been disappointed. The only reason they have 4 stars is there is quite a wait especially when ordering through the drive-thru. They sell okra, which is not displayed as a side on the drive-thru menu, but is quite delicious, and the okra cut is nice and thick; perfectly fried. I've had their chicken and waffles which is good, and they offer a plate with wings and tenders which gives you a chance to see which you prefer. I prefer their tenders as they are well seasoned and always juicy, even when reheated the next day! Their desserts come in a mason jar, which has a nice southern flair, I recommend the strawberry dessert. It's like cheescake,shortcake with a whipped topping throughout. The service is good as well, very polite staff which is refreshing as the majority of the staff are fairly young. A great alternative from the ordinary take out! read more

Love this place I come here all the time but today at 12:45pm there a gentleman at the intercom rushing me and kept asking if I'm done ordering. All I ordered was a 5 for 5 and 2 dipping sauce ranch and gravy which I paid for but didn't get! I also ordered a sprite that luckily I tasted when I pulled out the parking structure. This week I have been going though it, I just had found out about the passing of my father...the old me woulda went to jail cause usually Im not the bigger person and I explode but today I chose peace. I used to rave about this place it has food that I can eat but the last 3 orders have been horrible. I order twice for pick up those where a never ready, once I had my food stolen the other they didn't even prepare the order. So I thought I'll just drive through and order fresh I got wings with salad the salad was limp not fresh and my containers where all covered in wing sauce with cold wings. When I pay $15 for a meal I don't expect it to be old and thrown sloppy in a box. I didn't get my receipt so I didn't get my rewards and I couldn't call and complain. The chicken was good, the fries could have been crispier. The reason for the one star this place is FiLTHY!!!!!! The doors looked like they have never been wiped down, the floor was slick too! The soda machine had splattered soda all over the dispenser! I had to use the restroom and wouldn't sit on the toilet! The sink was even worse with streaks of gray dirt! The employees stand around in their phones when not waiting on customers instead of cleaning! This was our first visit since moving to Colorado and our last if this is how they keep their restaurant! Good easy location easy access from the freeway . Packed house due to just opening and 5:30 pm on a Sunday but they got us through the lengthy line mostly with ease except for the time. The associate that helped us was very cheerful and she had lots of great feedback on the food. I would go back if only for the chicken strips and jar of banana pudding nice touch with the mason jar! Reasons it's not a 5 for me is due to the awkward parking situation directional issues not labeled well upon exit. No bone in chicken besides wings. We waited a good 20 min to order then another 15 for the chicken strips. Had I been on my lunch break I would have more left than likely left. read more

I also fancied the chicken strips they were moist and tender, however the boned chicken was very wet outside and the chicken seemed a little dry/over cooked, which made it difficult to chew. Ummm I can definitely say WOW!! Menu kinda made me skeptical because how small the numbers sounded for the orders, 3 chicken wings and 3 tenders, or 8 wings because I eat a lot and for that little amount of food the prices seemed high. Well I got the 8 wings and fries and couldn't finish all the fries and struggled because I didn't want to waste wings! The wings were BIG. I got lemon pepper (which usually not the biggest fan of) but had a great flavor maybe a little too much dry rub with the salt and pepper but lots of flavor, I also got the cayenne ranch wings. Now those were delicious! A great dry rub. I will definitely be trying different flavors because there were 5 or 6 that I really had trouble picking between but since I was with co-workers didn't want saucy wings so I have to keep licking my fingers! read more
