The worker who took my order was very obnoxious wouldn't even let me finish my order. When I received my food it was cold and incorrect, I asked for it to be corrected but was laughed at and told the order was correct. The chicken tenders are perfectly cooked and moist and get 5 out of 5 stars. The reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because I got the 3x3 meal that included 3 tenders and 3 wings. First, I hate wings that aren't crispy. Nobody likes soggy chicken skin. Second, I ordered the Sriracha Garlic sauce, expecting a spicy garlic flavor and they were sweet and disgusting. We do appreciate the sacrifice of being opened during covid, but this establishment needs to step it up. I heard bad things about it long before covid but we decided to try it for ourselves and it was a disappointment. My husband ordered the chicken and waffle meal with wings on the side. Everything was so bland and flavorless, literally everything! The syrup was the waffles only hope but you barely get enough to cover the waffle. The wings were fried good, but once again, flavorless. Even if i don't want them sauced, toss them in a couple of spices. The person taking the order didn't know the difference between whole wings or sections, so while we were hoping to get whole wings, we ended up with sections which were $1.00 per wing!! We also ordered a chocolate shake...terrible! First let me start with when the young lady handed the cup to me it was a lot of brown stuff smeared all over the cup. I'm assuming it was chocolate but also had the image of feces. Now, I know it wasn't feces but I still didn't want to be served a dirty cup, but she gave me a lot of attitude when I asked for a different cup to put it in. Now the flavor of it was not good at all. I'm not sure what's used for the shake but it tasted powdery and flavorless also. All of the syrup was all stuck to the walls of the cup. I made my opinion about Slim Chicken on Tower Road just make sure people knew that they have some issues that need to be addressed. I was contacted by the so-called manager who seemed offended by my review, not realizing how offended I was by the actions of the restaurant to even place the review out there. But he proceeded to be a bit hostile but then offered a gift card to the restaurant which wasn't my intention because I can buy my own food if I want. So I am reposting another review to add that not only is the restaurant negligent in the safety during covid but also lies about making thing right with an offer purely based on his own reasoning. It is close to two months seen the interact with that guy and I literally live 13 minutes from the restaurant. How long does it really take for them to make it right, especially when you offered something I didn't even ask for. That's too bad. read more

Honestly, only giving two stars because it's fast food so you can really only expect so much... This location seemed super scattered and like they were really struggling. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality, freshness and flavor of the food. Each staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly, they seemed like they truly enjoyed working here. I parked in the "curbside" spot, with a sign asking for ten minutes to prepare my order. After 18 minutes, I walked inside, to be told that my order was ready and sitting on a shelf, waiting for me to get it. A curbside order, to pick up myself, with no warning, and my order also didn't include a straw. Awesome. Anyways, the food is good, so I give it one star instead of zero. As a resident of Green Valley Ranch I would always pass by Slim Chicken and wonder why there was always a long line. Last week I decided to give them a try. My first impression was top-notch. Their food is amazing and beats all competitors in the area such as Chick-fil-A and Popeyes. My favorite part and what's going to keep me back as a loyal customer was the employee taking my order. I believe her name was Janelle. She answered all my questions about the menu and even suggested some of her favorite dipping sauces ( massive selection might I add) and was extremely kind. Just for reference I dislike the taste of chicken and don't enjoy Chick-fil-A. My girl wanted to try out the wings and tenders from Slim Chickens and surprisingly enough I really liked their chicken! Super tender and moist meat unlike the dry chicken from other spots. Slims has good quality chicken and very good hot sauce for their wings! Their potato salad sucks tho.
