I think I have eaten here a couple years ago but could not remember. The way this place works, did you place your order at the counter, they give you her number and you proceed to the table. Your payment is received at the time you place your order. Their main items are chicken tenders, however they do have chicken salad which is what I ordered. I had the buffalo blue salad, had good flavor however seemed a little small for a nine dollar price tag. Self serve on the drinks typical for a fast food restaurant. I used to love this place. But after waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru and finally getting my food, I get home to crap chicken. It tasted like they soaked it in lemon juice and then proceeded to burn it. The only thing that was fresh was the fries, expect the gallons of salt they poured on it. Great chicken tenders and okay wings. I ordered the 3 & 3 with the fried mushrooms as my side. The chicken strips and the cayenne ranch were really good even though I was expecting the dipping sauce to be a little spicier. For the wings I went with the garlic parmesan and they tasted okay. The best part in my opinion were the fried mushrooms, I wanted more of them when I was done with my meal. I will try the other items on the menu and maybe I can give them more stars. read more

Menu choices are fraudulent. A chicken wing has three sections. Most people don't eat the third but do eat both of the sections that actually have meat on them. This restaurant has menu choices by number of wings but should relabel to say sections. I felt extremely over charged and cheated by receiving half wings instead of wings. read more

Practically had to shout at each other to be heard. so extremely busy that tables are rarely available and usually trashy with food goop all over the place. Service: Not much to say here since you pay when you walk in and they drop the food at your number. I will say that the ladies working the registers can be short with you and expect you to know exactly what you want and ask for no suggestions. Food: Super hot, super fresh chicken. I love the variety of sauces that accompany and the amount of food you receive for the price. Overall: Fantastic food. I can put up with the noisy atmosphere to have lunch with co-workers and friends. The TVs tuned to ESPN are nice to see some top or not top plays in sports. Will I be back? Absolutely. Loved this place. I was hesitant to go to a chicken fingers place, but we took the family one night. What a pleasant surprise! They have grilled or fried chicken. I got a chicken salad and it was very good and filling. The kids had chicken strips and they were moist, tender and hot. And the Fries were yummy!! The wait was quite short for our food. No time for the kids to get restless. The atmosphere was good. a few small tables and one long large one- family style. One of my favorite restaurants to go to let me down hard this evening. While the chicken and waffle plate was delightful, the fried pickles were a disaster. The fried pickles are one of the main reasons to try Slim Chickens. For one, it's an uncommon item in the region and for the most part, they do a serviceable job. That was not the case tonight. Instead of individually breaded and fried pickle slices, we were served soggy wads. While they were fried on the outside, the inside of the wads were full of raw flour and uncooked pickle. They were inedible. Normally, I let this sort of thing slide. I've been a customer of Slim Chickens since their very first store so I know that sometimes people mess up. But upon asking for a refund or a coupon (I don't accept food after I've complain about it - I've worked in food service) I was immediately forgotten about. Having received no coupon, or refund, or even an apology, I decided to leave this review. I'm in no way saying that Slim Chickens is a bad place to eat. Said it would be ready at 7:12pm. Had to ask the employees at the counter when our food would be ready. Waited til almost 7:30pm, and the food was disgustingly cold, not even lukewarm. Got home and realized they didn't put our daughter's chocolate milk in the bag. After trying to choke down the cold, soggy food, l found a long hair on one of my chicken tenders and I was just done. The style was similar to Raising Cane's or Zaxsby's but in my opinion not as good. The cayenne ranch is just ranch with a little cayenne pepper so it's not spicy like anticipated.
