    NO MTV.  Can add for $6-$27 more.

    It's like the ghetto cable TV company which can be workable if you're cool w/ that. But the false advertising of channels available is bs, plus there's a bunch of glitches you eventually get used to. I have to keep disconnecting because the sound goes out (wish I could post a video sample) or icons aren't showing or freezes, tiles, etc. Has a TV guide schedule which is great, you can set Fav's with. I've got the Blue and Orange pkg, has some local channels, some cable tv channels and a ton of garbage channels but can be filtered out if setting Favorites up. Comes w/ waaaay more garbage channels than the pkg shows. Most airings are East Coast time and some West coast time, super annoying being in the West - it's only workable for me if I pay more for DVR storage. Lots of commercials that cut into the show at the WRONG time, plus show parts are cut out probably due to the added commercial insertions (figured this out when watching the beginning show when it starts w/ 'last week on...' w/ things that were NOT shown the prior week. Commercials obviously inserted rather than at the planned time originally set). Sling is a pain in the *** but once you get used to it it's workable. FALSE ADVERTISING on channels they claim come w/ the Orange & Blue pkg (some examples below). Note: they'll also charge $4.99 for one channel but it might come w/ a bunch more you don't think are related (like pay more for Discovery+ $4.99 comes w/ HGTV, TLC, Food Network, Animal Planet. etc.) : - NO Animal Planet unless you pay more ($4.99-$8.99) - Bravo - east coast schedule - Cartoon Network - east coast schedule - Comedy Central - west coast schedule - NO Cooking Channel unless you pay more ($6-$27) - Discovery - east coast schedule. NO Discovery Original, NO Discovery Life, NO Discovery+ unless you pay more ($4.99-$8.99 ea channel) - E! - east coast schedule - FX - east coast schedule. NO FXX, NO FXM unless you pay more ($6-27 ea channel) - History - east coast schedule. NO History Vault unless you pay more ($5.99) - MGM Drive-In - east coast schedule. NO MGM+, NO MGM+ Marquee unless you pay more ($5 ea channel). NO MGM Hits. - NO MTV, NO MTV2 unless you pay more ($6-27). Has "MTV Spankin New" which is super old reruns. - National Geographic - east coast schedule. NO NG Wild. - NickJr - east coast schedule. NO NickToons unless you pay more ($6-27) - NO VH1. Only comes w/ "VHI I Love Reality Pluto TV" unless you pay more ($6-$27) - Syfy - east coast schedule - USA - east coast schedule - Vice - east coast schedule

    I liked Sling but I guess they decided they did'nt like me and cancelled my automatically paid monthly service with little notice. Th email they sent me the day prior (which I did not know about and later), said I had to "resubscribe". After several attempts with a message (every time) to the effect that the attempt did not process, I find several $1 test amounts applied to the same credit card I have been using, all along. That's it, I'm done with them. Maybe if they can take their thumbs out of their mouth and learn to tie their shoelaces, I may go back to their service. My motto is: if they don't care, neither do I.

    Please Lord help me to remember to READ REVIEWS BEFORE I SIGN UP for something. I am another sap who signed up for. 'FREE TRIAL' 5 days ago to compare with Our current FUBO (which sometimes has poor pixelation, but good enough programming, value). My credit card bill was due or I wouldn't have known I was billed until after billed again for another month. Right out the gat the online chat rep and the phone rap refused refund and COMMAND me I will be billed for a month AFTER CANCELING. PIMPS. Eventually got a supervisor that cancelled and said would refund. I typed in my online chat I'd file complaint with Attorney General's Office and will probably anyways. After all pimping ain't supposed to be easy.

    This shows all the time even though I am paying $15 a month. Charges should have stopped when the season ended!

Both the business owner you coordinate and the technician who did the work were very professional, polite, and easy to talk with. As you can probably tell from your own Yelp research it is not the easiest to find an installer for Starlink that gives you confidence they can do a good job (maybe not the most common thing in my area). But after just one phone call with The Remo Group, plus looking at the pictures they have shared here on Yelp of their past work, and you will know you found the best option for a professional installation. Setting up an appointment was super easy, they know just what to do - you can really tell they are very experienced with Starlink installations. The technician who came to my home was very professional. He walked me through options of where the install would be and where we could place the Starlink router. He was able to quickly set up everything and even walk me through the setup of the app and router. You can tell they are very experienced and have a deep knowledge overall of home networking. They really did an amazing job. The dish is mounted very securely and the wiring is extremely clean. They really cared about doing a good job and making sure I was happy. If you are looking for a Starlink installer, I would very much recommend The Remo Group: they will do things right.

    Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. I purchased a phone for pickup and they…read morewould not give it to me bc my drivers license was bitten by my dog. Mind you my photo and pertinent information were not damaged, the barcode on the back is not damaged and works just fine. I know this because I've flown numerous times and had no issues with it. I was instructed by the store to cancel my order and re-order the device to be picked up via a secure locker since that didn't require a government ID. I did as they asked then they stated that they could not move the device into the locker until the following day. While I understand they have a policy on damaged IDs (although upon reviewing their ID policy there is no mention of damage being a hindrance) it felt a bit out of bounds to say they could not move the device from the front desk into a secure locker within the business day (it couldn't have been more than 25 feet away). The staff was on what I could only describe as a power trip. I called Verizon customer service and they were able to get the device moved into a locker for pickup. Hard not to feel as a long time customer (more than 5 years) that I was really just messed with for no good reason.

First visit he hooked me up with James, who suggested a new router, free of charge, would boost wifi at home.Talked me out of buying wifi extenders. He was right! Much better reception on our phones when out of range. Had trouble connecting to internet without wifi, went back and Manager did the final activation on my phone. Works! James the phone dude also gave us a much better monthly charge for our phone lines if we changed from Verizon. We came back a week later to get the phones and new contract. James stayed with us entire time until our phones were activated. Had to come back later that day (disclaimer: we live two blocks away, not a big deal) for another hiccup. Manager dude fixed it right away. Then yesterday we realized our new phones not paired with cars. Yikes! Couldn't figure it out. Went back in, Manager dude helped another waiting customer but then actually came out to the car with me and in five minutes showed me how to delete old phone from settings and add new phone. Anyway I know the company has many complaints, mine among them regarding speaking to a live agent. We're fortunate to live nearby and going in person changes everything. For this particular issue, not the rest of the legit issues folks have, I wanted to shout out what a great job they have been doing.

    Pros: cheap and reliable wifi. Cons: customer support…read more Tried to cancel once and they offered me a very low price for 1Gbps wifi and a $200 gift card. They followed through on the lower rate but never sent the gift card. When I tried to follow up about the gift card 6 months later, it was 40-minutes of a painful back-and-forth of verifications, sending me over to a different department, not having records of a previous interaction, etc. All the while being unable to read the room and trying to upsell me multiple times with offers on mobile lines. Enjoyed the cheap wifi. And it was reliable. But not worth the pain of having to contact their customer support. Update: they did finally send the $200 Visa card. But if I knew it was going to be this painful, I wouldn't have done it.

I have contacted customer service multiple times to discuss the significant price differences between what long-term customers pay and the promotional rates offered to new customers, as well as the more competitive pricing available from other providers. Unfortunately, the only response has been small temporary credits and continued reductions in services while monthly bills keep rising. Given the lack of meaningful resolution, I will be canceling my service and returning to Comcast, which currently offers substantially lower pricing, significantly faster internet speeds, and a more complete channel lineup. It is disappointing to see how far this company has declined from the quality and value it once provided. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage prospective customers to carefully compare options before choosing Astound.
