Adary Electric and their staff are a class act. We sought proposals to upgrade our outlets and install a dedicated circuit and outlet to charge an electric vehicle. Adary was the only company we called who did a thorough and convenient FaceTime assessment. Other companies had me send photos and videos with a lot of back and forth emails. We appreciated Adary's recommendation to get a permit and they offered compelling reasons to do that. The other companies did not include permits in their proposals. Adary's proposal was the most thorough and Shai, our point of contact throughout, was always very responsive, friendly, thorough, and helpful. On the day of the installation, Victor was the electrician. He was friendly, thorough, and meticulous. He discussed with me different locations for the charger outlet and explained how things would appear before proceeding. The work was very cleanly done with no patching up or painting needed. Victor went above and beyond. He pointed out that some of the circuits were incorrectly labeled. So, he relabeled them. I hired Adary once back in 2023 to replace a chandelier and install a pendant light on one of the bedrooms. They did a fantastic job. I tried hiring them again 2024 but the quote doubled for the same work in our other kids bedroom (bedrooms are exact copies of each other). The second time the quote per bedroom breakdown was about double. I know the labor rate has gone up (which they confirmed to be about 20%). Their quoting policy seems to be all over the place so unfortunately did not hire the second time around read more

Had them inspect an outlet that was malfunctioning, they had me troubleshoot it before having them come out (honest business, didn't want to charge me to come out if it wasn't actually the outlet). Well, it ended up being the outlet and Marcie was very quick to respond and schedule their technician Rigo to drop by and take a look. Rigo was quick with the troubleshoot and replaced the outlet. The Good: Service with Victor Victor came on "estimate" day to get an idea of what needed to be done to install a video doorbell camera and floodlight for the backdoor. I ended up not needing setup for the doorbell, so only the camera with floodlight was setup. He did the job well in about 1.5 hrs, which is what I expected. The Bad: Customer Service and Scheduling I originally messaged the business to get a quote and estimate for how much the job would cost. My misunderstanding that when they come to give an estimate, they actually charge by the hour instead of it being a 5-10 min visit like other companies. I obliged to pay Victor for the visit, but was not expecting to. Scheduling for the actual job was a fiasco. I was looking to schedule a late morning appt, but could not be promised a time frame as they seem to schedule jobs after each other rather than by time. I chose to do an 8 am for a more guaranteed time per Marcie. Come day of appt (Tue, Sep 6 as noted in the screenshot), I hadn't heard from Victor by 8:15 so I sent a message and called at 8:30. I'm guessing Nadav answered, but he said that my appt was for Wed, Sep 7. Instead of apologizing for the scheduling error, he said that they get a lot of inquiries on Yelp so they get mixed up and they prefer to call for established customers. They never notified me of that. Ok so now it's Wed at 8 am (also in screenshot) and Victor still has not shown up by 8:35 am. I called and said that if he did not show up by 8:45, then I would have to cancel the appt. Victor got here at 8:44. So much for a guaranteed time. read more

Our doorbell was broken. Adary Electric was able to squeeze us in before the holiday with very reasonable price. Their technician Rigo was over and did a bunch of troubleshooting and found the problem was with our wiring. Since it will take longer time and will need two technicians to complete the wiring work, he suggested us to call back and schedule another appointment. He did not charge us for the visit. We decided to do wireless ring instead since it's a much cheaper option for us. The owner Nadav was very understanding about our decision. The overall experience was very good. We needed a set of recessed flouro lights replaced with something better, and I contacted Adary Electric after finding them here on Yelp. I sent some pictures and described the issue. Nadav called me back in the evening, which was a nice surprise, we discussed what could be done, and he was able to send Victor out the next morning. Victor is a great guy and did equally excellent work. He replaced nine recessed lights with LED retrofits, which look and work better. Took a few hours. No mess, no hassle, everything was perfect. He had a bit of extra time and also fixed a loose wire that was causing a shower light to fail. Overall responsiveness and professionalism was incredibly high, and the cost was surprisingly low. Adary sent an electrician twice, but eventually the job was done. They charged per hour, so the price was exactly as they said on the phone. We had to detach an old wall oven and then install a new one. The whole thing took about 3 hours, and that's what they charged. You can let them buy any parts needed, their markup is very acceptable and they will get you the parts you need without hassle. There was a little bit of a mixup of what exactly the job was. My guess is because there was a lot of back on forth through messages on Yelp, so it's hard to keep track. In any case a quick call to the boss cleared things up, and the job was done very well. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Adary. They replaced an aging chandelier and recessed lights with LED recessed lights. It started off well with a quick response to my ask for a quote. They actually answered questions in Yelp messages, vs just asking for a call. (Calling during business hours can be challenging for me.) They provided some options wrt buying our own fixtures vs a reasonable surcharge for selecting and purchasing them a part of the work. Scheduling a time was straight forward. Then I forgot they were coming ‍. Luckily my wife was still available, and the electrician handled it well, patiently waiting to get let in . He called me a couple times to confirm the work and price. When I came home everything looked perfect. Well matched fixtures, ceiling was clean, and the new lights were bright and wonderful. We called Adary to deal with a malfunctioning ceiling heating/exhaust fan in our bathroom and it all went very well. Rigo saw that our problem was not with the present heating lamp/exhaust fan but with the switches for it. He simply replaced the switches and the unit is now functioning again. We originally thought the ceiling unit would need to be replaced and this was certainly an easier, faster and less expensive fix. We are very pleased with all our dealings with Adary, including our communitcatons with Marcie when we first contacted them. We would certainly use them again for our home electrical problems. read more
