    Cola candy

Pretty pricey for a candy shop and the selection isn't too crazy, I wish there were more. The lady who was working very nice but I don't think I wouldn't go here again because of the price.

    $9!!

Avoid at all costs. Expired Movie Theatre-level candy at ridiculously goofy prices. Have you ever wanted a $9 roll of Necco wafers? If so, you've found your place!!

Located across the street from the park, near Red Scooter Deli, is SLO Sweets. This is the closest thing you can get to your candy shop dreams, as a kid. Candy, chocolate, sweets, drinks, gelato, everything! Love how they have Willy Wonka on a loop!

The shop is cute and that's what draws you in, but they have extremely over priced candies and confections. I love gummy bears. They sell a 1/4 lb of gummy bears for $8 which was about 8 bears. I passed so quickly. Not worth it.

I got a lollipop for my 2 year old, opened it up it was broken in pieces. I went in to see if they would just trade it (thought it would be no big deal) and they told me I would just have to buy another one. $7.99... old candy, bad service. Won't be back.

Didn't realize I paid $22.99 each for 4 whoopie cushions. I thought they were $2.99 each. Definitely an overpriced store

Visited 20 July 2022 After dinner we took a walk around the park area and ended up inside of SLO Sweets. If nothing else, the store is very nostalgic. There are an assortment of sweets and drinks from my childhood (I'm an 80s baby). We browsed the store but I didn't find anything that popped out to me that I'd buy. Some of my friends did buy sodas and Gelato but I didn't purchase anything. The waffle cones had some interesting flavours - orange Creamsicle, red velvet, & midnight vanilla, along with pumpkin spice, and regular. However, for the price $10 cone w/ 1 scoop, meh. I initially wanted a gelato cone. I tried the stracciatella Gelato but did not like it. It wasn't terrible but it has a too salty taste. The price did not appease me and the taste certainly turned me off from wanting to try anything else. The store is enticing but overall doesn't seem to be worth it.

Amazing gelato, the honey lavender is where it's at. And service was excellent! Would definitely recommend.

Ridiculously overpriced. Unfriendly staff. It's such a joke , I don't know how they stay in business. An obvious tourist trap.

Written With Kindness & Stamped With Love Yeah, this review goes out to the owners of Sealed With A Kiss located in beautiful downtown Paso Robles ------------------------- And just as this business has a play on words with the product they sell, I'm going to do my best to have a little play on words myself to showcase my experience that I had in store. So stay close, listen up, and follow... "The Paper Trail" For this review, it's definitely going to feel more like a "Thank You Letter" with nothing, but Love for this mom & pop business. It'll be an opportunity for me to "Drop a Line"... A chance to "Make a long story short"... (Which I NEVER do) Trust me, according to people who know me.... It's the "Story of my Life" haha. But just so you know.... This review will be the furthest thing from a "Dear John Letter".... Because today, There will be absolutely No Breaking Hearts! In fact, I'm going to do the complete opposite!! I am going to write this review with Pure LOVE and I promise you that I will do my best to... "DOT all of my i's and CROSS all of my t's!" So sit back, get comfortable and watch me closely as I Virtually put this "Pen to Paper". In November 2025, while casually walking Pine Street in Downtown Paso heading towards the Cowgirl Cafe for breakfast, you know for a fact that I window shopped every single business along the way. As I approached Sealed With A Kiss, I couldn't help but CHUCKLE & SMILE as I looked at all of the fun things they had in their window display. The tea towels with clever sayings... The decorative signs with witty messages... It was just what I needed to brighten my day and have a little laugh to myself. Yeah, Right, then, & there... I knew that once breakfast was over, I definitely was coming back to see what other fun things this place had in store. Once breakfast was over and before my food coma set in.... I wanted to see what this shop had to offer, maybe even pick up something for back home or even gea gift. From the get go.... I saw a whole wall full of custom greeting cards with fun art and even funnier messages inside of them... Move over Hallmark, because the creative peeps behind these custom cards definitely don't have "Writers Block". Fast forward to a full & satisfied belly from a yummy breakfast at the Cowgirl Cafe and I was now ready to shop. Upon walking into Sealed With A Kiss, we were immediately greeted and welcomed with a smile. We freely browsed all of the fun, eclectic items in store and I had a good time checking out their custom greeting cards with funny little messages. We did purchase a flour sack towel for our kitchen with California Poppies on it and it is now proudly displayed on our stove. The gentleman behind the counter and the lady working in store were very kind and we chit-chatted a bit on where we were from and how long we were in town. To simply "Put it into words"... We as the customer felt welcomed and were happy to give them our business. So.... The next time you come to Paso Robles, I encourage you to come check this place out and leave your own "stamp of approval." For now, I'm signing off and you are free to mark this Review as... We popped in to grab a small cheese plate to take along to our wine tasting, and it turned out to be such a great decision. Everything was thoughtfully curated--the cheeses were exquisitely paired with locally produced accompaniments like olives and nuts, which really elevated the whole experience. It was so good we completely forgot to take a "before" picture... but trust me, the empty box at the end says it all--total satisfaction! But if you're planning a visit, build in serious buffer time. We stopped in on Memorial Day and, with several parties ahead of us in line, didn't place our order until nearly 20 minutes after arriving. By the 45-minute mark, our food still hadn't come out for two paninis and a soup. What made it especially frustrating was watching parties who arrived after us get their cheese orders and drinks served before anyone had even started assembling our sandwiches. It was clear the shop was understaffed for the holiday weekend, with one person managing the counter and another in the back prepping. We ended up asking to take the sandwiches cold just to get out the door, only to have both stuffed into one small bag, sloppily wrapped. The soup, unfortunately, came out lukewarm regardless. None of this felt malicious. The shop has an unhurried, artisanal quality that's part of its appeal, but that can't fully account for the gap between the experience and a nearly hour-long wait for a simple lunch order while others moved ahead of us. Come for the cheese, come for the atmosphere. Just don't come hungry with anywhere to be.

I and 5 others in my family got to watch an entire batch from start (sugar just cooked) to finish (cut warmed candy). Have you ever wondered how they make such pretty, detailed pictures in miniature bites of hard candy? Craig and Tanner were both a joy to learn from! They shared so many details of candy making, from how they think about the 3D design of a piece, to how they deal with air bubbles, how they make troughs for the color additions, and so much more. They were extremely friendly and fantastic hosts! As we watched them form the letters, and the picture, it was amazing for me and my kids to ask different questions as they worked. And then they stretch the huge roll of candy down to the proper tube sizes, BY HAND, and hand cut it all too. AND one of the best parts, you get to try the candy when its still warm, which you can never do when you buy it in a store! The whole process was a bit over an hour for the design we saw (a tombstone for their Halloween mix), and was engaging from start to finish. This is truly a memorable experience that my family will cherish, and one that makes you appreciate the hard work, careful artistry and design that goes into these hand-crafted pieces of candy.

Who knew there was so many varieties?! Ok so maybe just I don't know but... Anyway, we left with 2 varieties: the cucina (blend of varietals) and soltera (one olive) as well as a spice mix and some truffle salt. Mmmm all so good! We have since been ordering olive oil from Pasolivos now for a few months since the visit. And now we cannot go back to the Costco olive oil we used to get. Btw, imported olive oil is likely not pure olive oil. There's no quality control, so you don't know what you'll get (cut with canola, etc). Seriously, we cannot go back to our old olive oil ways. We are now addicted to this award winning locally sourced California olive oil from Pasolivos! I kinda wish we could give that lady who helped us some kind of commission for our monthly orders.
