We've lived in Atascadero since 2019, and have been to Negranti countless times. They are always friendly, the ice cream is always delicious. My favoriteeeee is the peppermint stick made into a milkshake, but when I don't want to splurge that much, I get a split single of the Thai iced tea and peanut butter. Sure, they're a little expensive, but ice cream is supposed to be a treat, and this is well worth it! read more

I wish I could give any feedback about the actual service or product but we arrived at 7PM to find the business closed. The online hours say 8PM and the door said 7:30, yet we watched the staff flip it closed and lock the door as we walked up at 7PM. I'd recommend you adjust your hours online and at a minimum, follow your hours posted on the door. read more

Local Take: Aloha to another new cool cute little micro-Negranti Creamery! Immediately, right after finishing a huge Negranti "Nacos" huge sheepsmilk dish at their original location in Paso/ Tin City, the lady there told me about the newest spot directly across from the Carlton Hotel in downtown A-town. I was especially curious since I just drove by on the other side of the street a few hours earlier to volunteer at Loaves & Fishes to help run a mobile vaccine clinic only a few blocks up El Camino Real, and had not noticed any new Creamery. We had a fair turn out and we had a great welcome from this wonderful neighborhood Food Bank & their great volunteers. One of the perks of being a roving Medical Reserve Corp volunteer is that at each mobile location you alway gets to meet wonderful people on that site and the wonderful people from that community. It is especially rewarding to help those who are really needle phobic or have serious questions about the vaccine [including the various myths they may have heard]. Of course, I did not notice a new creamery, since they have been open only one week and it is a real tiny place. I think the lettering of the outside sign is bigger than this cute shop. Basically, it is really no bigger than some walk-in closets, but it is still bigger than the old street vendors ice-cream carts in ole Brooklyn parks. This humble, but cute shop, does have about eight tubs of fresh cold ice-cream, including my fav of Coffee Chip, but sadly not including my other fav of Lavender. Today, they had 6 tubs of Sheepsmilk ice-cream, which to me is highly addictive and amazing. It is refreshing and the flavors pop! If you have not tried it yet, it is a absolute must. You are very welcome! Of course, they have the typical cups & cones for fresh scooped ice-cream, but do not really have the full menu that the Paso locations do. In the freezer, they do have quite a few more favors available & I can easily see getting one & sitting down to consume a whole pint on my own in the back. The back area is a beer garden from another vendor, so this ice-cream place is ideal for those with kids who do not drink beer...so a great idea. This is a fairly new location that is attached to the Ancient Owl beer garden/park setting. It's a tiny spot- almost like a kiosk, so the selection of flavors is limited. There's room for about 6-8 different tubs of ice cream so there are mostly cream flavors and a couple of sorbets, including a blackberry- cabernet-- something very unique! We enjoyed the black coffee chip. The flavor was great- not too sweet. The texture was a little bit icy, so I'm not sure if it was just that particular batch. The portions are generous for the price- a single scoop is enough for one person to share a little. read more

We first tried this ice cream several years ago at Soto's market in Cambria. Looking for a healthier option to traditional dairy ice cream, we decided to opt for some mint chip sheep's milk ice cream from Negranti.
