I purchased the açaí smoothie, which was very poorly blended and very thick. There were large chunks of fruit that I had to chew on while drinking. This is a cute little spot right across the street from the park where you can get delicious froyo with whatever toppings you desire. We actually stopped here to get some boba and enjoy the park, but the yogurt was too tempting. With all the options available, my husband ended up making an incredible flavor combination that will forever be one of our favorites. Who knew pistachio and watermelon went together so well? Staff was also really nice. It was close to closing time and they still welcomed us in and we're happy to let us check out all the toppings. There were so many options available that I got watermelon sherbet and pistachio. And for toppings and I had to try a little bit of everything. It turned out to be delicious. I like this place, I come here most times for a boba when I'm passing through Paso Robles. The place is conveniently located across the street from the park, so it's a nice after park treat. The shop is spacey but there are not very many seats! They have a pretty good selection for frozen yogurt and toppings! The pineapple flavor is super refreshing. For boba I usually get the Thai or strawberry milk tea and they are always delicious and tasty. The boba is not bad but I wish they had them a little more soft/cooked and had an added option for brown sugar boba!! Stopped by for a quick yogurt last night. The young man who waited on us was very pleasant and responsive. The first thing we noticed was how filthy everything was. The floors were really disgusting and the tables looked like they had never been wiped off. There were blueberries smashed into the floor where the fruit was. A woman went up and asked them to please clean it up, which they did, but left the blueberry stain all over the floor. The area where you bring fruit over to your cup was also never cleaned. The two young men behind the counter were constantly on their phones with their ear buds on. They should have been cleaning this place. They never came around to clean any of the tables when people left, especially those with children. They did 100% pay attention to a customer when one came in and were very friendly. We were pretty disgusted with how this place is maintained and being run. I sure hope these guys aren't being paid $20/hr. read more

The new Atascadero location is a petite, scaled-down version of its Paso counterpart. Being so much smaller it may not offer much in the way of indoor seating, but there are a couple of outdoor tables, and plenty of courtyard planter seating. Yogurt options are what you'd expect to find (here's hoping they add Euro Tart into the rotation), toppings were ample, and what we had we enjoyed. We can personally vouch for the cake batter/chocolate combo (topped with cherries and strawberries), and the chocolate/peanut butter combo (topped with strawberries, Reese's Pieces and toffee crumbles) being pretty solid choices that we'd enjoy again. The one server that was there wasn't particularly welcoming or friendly; she was distracted by and preoccupied with something on her phone. A shame, really, since this is a brand new location and first impressions, especially regarding service, are important. Somewhat pricey - but what isn't anymore? Our two, not-really-full cups, one heavier on the toppings, the other less so, came out to $13.66. Add to that our $2 tip (for what I'm not sure since it's all self-serve, but I lean generous), and our total was $15.66. Overall, the Atascadero location is a welcome addition to town. While that particular server needs to step up her service game, I'm sure she won't be the only one we encounter. The quality of LOL's yogurt and toppings is very good. Boba tea plus fro yo in one...AND we can fill the cup of fro yo (with gloves) by ourselves. Omg sooo 2019! Visiting the area, it's hot and needed something cool and refreshing. Ordered the mango tea with mango poppers. We also got fro yo with all the fixings we want, just need to have gloves on and fill it up to our desire. Not the most clean and tidy yogurt restaurant I visited. they do have plastic gloves out for customers to use in order to handle the equipment and the spoons, but there is no requirement that anyone use them. Absolutely TERRIBLE. I'm not one for writing reviews but this needs to be said. I went into this place for a smoothie and was not greeted by the employee behind the counter, just stared at. I thought his was odd, so I asked her about smoothies and she did not seem happy about that at all. Well, I asked if she could make a smoothie with banana and chocolate please. She said okay and then I waited. And waited, and waited. After about 15 min I saw her make two bowls of something and take them to the back room where employees are. Then she emerged again and started making my smoothie. What? Did hers come before mine? I thought no, she wouldn't do that...: who knows? 5 more minutes and she hands me this medium size cup with a sealed lid with beige color ingredients. It took a while to open the lid, since there are no convenient pull tabs to peel it open. Finally had to clean one of my keys to use as a knife to open the thing. Looking inside, it looked like ice milk and was NOT blended very well. Tasting it was was repulsed by an ice chip consistency with overpowering sweetness from fake banana. REALLY! ? SMOOTHIE is that not supposed to be smooth and creamy? Or am I missing something? Anyway, I took it back and asked what she made it with. Mrs Personality mumbled something and I just put it in the trash and left. This was my experience and certainly hope that no one else has to experience this as well. Management: if that was you walking around taking inventory while this was happening: Shame on you for not stepping up to the plate to try and mediate this situation. And for goodness sakes train this employee how to at least fake being friendly to the people who make this possible for you. read more

I was there for the milk tea. Once every 5 years or so, I like to enjoy milk tea. LOL has half a dozen flavors. I choose Taro. It came back purple in a hermetically sealed cup. LOL has some kind of machine that makes the drink... which makes me suspect of what I was getting; but since it will probably be another 5 years before I try this again, it may not be an issue. It tasted sweet, like taro, but not much of a tea taste; still, I enjoyed it. Sofie had frozen yogurt which she was thrilled to discover so many yogurt taps just waiting for her to fill her cup. She got the spumoni and several other flavors. The spumoni was quite good! There were a zillion toppings for the yogurt. It was fun to look at them, but I would not want to eat them. The mystery behind LOL Yogurt is to know what "LOL" stands for. Laughing Out Loud or League of Legends? I suspect it's the former. This begs the question: If the store next door was called ROFLMFAO Yogurt and all other things being equal besides the name, which one would you patronize? Large store for a yogurt shop... colorful and funky decor and lots of room to roam and not feel like you're on top of other guests while getting your yogurt & toppings, etc. Great selection of yogurts and about every kind of topping you could possibly want. Reasonable pricing. A kids paradise! They even have a couple of arcade style games up front. The girls who rang us up were cute, helpful and kind. We went in twice (two nights in a row) after the kids were done playing across the street in the community park. Nice little seating areas including tables and chairs as well as comfortable orange leather-look couches. I've been here a few times for yogurt but never ventured past that until I came in a few weeks ago. I got one of the acai bowls and it was so delicious. I've been on the hunt for a place in Paso that makes these and didn't want some generic or over priced version. The place is always clean when we go in, I never see toppings spilled all over the counters or yogurt piles. My acai bowl was amazing-I opted for a yogurt version with granola and tons of fruit. I was so large, I didn't really need to even eat for the rest of the day. I will go back and get another and remember to take a picture ( I was starving last time so I scarfed it down too quick for a picture). Visited here twice now when charging at the Electrify America at Bank of America. It's only about 5 blocks away and has a delicious variety of frozen yogurt and other items like smoothies.
