A lot of times in local places like this you'll get many local patrons that flood yelp with five…read morestar reviews, but they won't be warranted. There have been many times where I've tried restaurants that had a lot of stars, but the local people are just inflating the reviews. - this is not one of those places. The food here is absolutely phenomenal. The speakeasy vibe even adds to the ambience. The drinks are strong yet not too strong. This restaurant is so good that I am now planning a trip with my wife and my friends to come back up to this area to ski just so I can bring them here and have their mind blown with how great the food is here. if there was an option to give six stars, I would!

Third time I stopped in I had dinner. The bartenders and wait staff dress in 20's attire and the place has that prohibition feel to it. They make high-end cocktails but I usually stick with a gin and tonic. The menu is limited but the meal portion was generous. I had the chicken fried chicken. It was a huge piece of breaded chicken over mashed potatoes and asparagus topped with a traditional white gravy. Very tasty. We've added this establishment to our rotation when we visit Keene.

I made a first time visit to Industry East yesterday, and it is already on my short list of…read morefavorite restaurants. Every dish was perfect, with the lamb meatballs out of this world good. These were served with a pea and bacon risotto whose rich flavors matched the meatballs perfectly and the accompanying crisped breads balanced texture for the perfect combo. The pork belly tostadas had a great combination of toppings that gave them a fresh feel and almost made pork belly feel healthy, and the popover short rib dish was perfectly cooked and tasty. This one wasn't my dish, but I managed to snag a nibble and may be ordering it next time if they decide to add it to the regular menu. So good! The dishes were a nice size, leaving room for desert, and the fresh fruit meringue was an excellent finale. The restaurant itself is small, with a bar and just a handful of indoor tables. They had 4 more tables outside, however, which would be great on slightly cooler days. The indoor window seat we got was comfortable and the whole place had a cozy, friendly feel. Service was top notch, from a greeting as we entered to constant attention - we never really noticed our slightly small (bar style) table as all the dishes were cleared so quickly. I loved this place and will probably have to keep returning until I've tried the whole menu. I'm definitely hoping to try the outdoor tables next if weather permits.

The only critique is our pretzel bites we ordered as an appetizer came out 10 minutes after our meals. We still ate them and they were delicious. I look forward to going to eat here again.

After being disappointed in the limited selection (no Oliva V's) , I purchased a Plasencia. I wanted to enjoy my cigar after a long road trip and was looking forward to share my experience with a friend who also drove a long distance to meet me there. I asked if I could smoke downstairs and when we went to "The Lounge" part I was told by bartender that it was for members only (empty as well) , not what I remembered from the last time I went a number of years ago... He didn't even have a V cutter. We were relegated to a dark cocktail table with cold plastic uncomfortable seats and my general impression was that we were not welcomed.

I wasn't sure if his attire was a leftover halloween costume or part of his standard flair. Anyway, I ordered a drink and strangely there weren't any cigar cutters/matches/lighters to be seen; I thought this somewhat strange because I'm in a candy shop??? I asked a question about an event being hosted by this business at another location and the bartender didn't know anything about it, or where it was located; seemed more annoyed; although a friendly patron chimed-in and said he knew where it was. I proceeded to an area with leather chairs and large TV; there was one unfriendly individual in there and a cowboy movie was on the screen; I really didn't come in to watch a movie; a general sports program would have been more entertaining. Generally I found the place had an attitude and was unwelcoming, which probably explains why it was so dead.
