Out first culinary stop to kick off our week from Boston to Maine. After an early morning arrival…read moreto BOS and no clear plan for the day, we headed up north toward our Maine destination and stopped in Salem. I quickly turned to Yelp for recommendations and immediately pinned this spot as our stop for a caffeinated and pastry jumper start to the day. We limited our appetites to a raspberry pinwheel and blueberry and lemon scone. Very worthwhile, very good. What u enjoyed about these compared to my local pastry fave to Dixboro, Michigan is that they weren't as butter rich. They reminded me more of the pastries enjoyed in Europe. And, they were less money than we get charged here.
