So we finally got to visit the Slutty Vegan location in Brooklyn. We had tried before but left because there were no seating tables, just a bar-like setting that was too tight for our party. We promised to check them out again, and yesterday we decided to do takeout via Uber Eats. We got a great deal: buy one, get two free. Uber Eats is a treat! I had the Fussy Hussy (the only one with the BOGO deal on Uber Eats), and it came with fries. My friend ordered the Dancehall Queen and Hooker Fries. My burger was delicious and quite filling! The taste was a non-meat eater's delight, filled with lots of goodies. (I'm not listing the ingredients here, so you can check them out on Uber Eats, and they have an app you can download to earn points for purchases). My friend had a similar experience with the Dancehall Queen and Hooker Fries, which are loaded with even more vegan delights than what I ordered. Bottom line, you can't go wrong at Slutty Vegan because you have plenty of choices and preferences! The service at this spot is hilarious! They give you a shoutout when you come in and when you leave. I won't say much about the language they use, but it's definitely not for the prude. We will be back! read more

3 star only because it was just "meh", in comparison to the cost. $17+for a burger (+more if u want sides?) Raised a vegetarian, I've seen the "meat replacements" change a lot over the years, and have tried many many variations (from pecan-meal meatballs to fried gluten, and other interesting concoctions) so my palette has experience. A little disappointed in that I ASSUMED the SV "beef patty" would be a home-made/unique burger: that was my bad. But to pay sucha hefty price for a patty I can get from the grocery store seemed almost like a rip off. Granted, they have their version of McDs "special sauce(s)" to add variance, but basically it's a BEYOND Burger, made with toppings of your choice: for $17+! (Burger King uses the Impossible patty and does similar...no, not vegan, but the non-meat premise is the same..and charges less than half the price). The fries I ADORED, cause I love me some krinkle fries! They were nicely seasoned and tasty and for $3, more fit into the little box than I expected! BONUS!! The ABSOLUTE BEST part of my meal was the vegan banana budding! THAT gets a 6/5 star rating!! $5 is typical for a side dessert. And though only a few ounces, it's so sweet and decadent you don't need much more. The Brooklyn location is literally a corner store (?maybe originally a small conv store) there is barely room for a few people to walk in and order... so NO dining in. We got there on a Friday-midday, and was pleased to only have one or two folk in front of us. We were able to step inside, but those behind us stood outside. Deciding/ordering/getting our food, was less than 20min. Also, because it's on the corner, there is no place to "dine out" in front. It was a nice day so we were able to walk a block and share a table in the park w kind strangers in order to sit and eat. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Friendly yell when you entered and also when they knew it was your first time. Menu and descriptions are readily avail online, posted to easily see, scanable...but the staff will still help you choose per your picky preferences. Will I try again? Try other locations too? Perhaps. But won't go out my way, I don't have to add it as a "must do" in the next city, and def wouldn't stand inline for hours for it (like my daughter did in Alabama and my friend did in MD!). Always supportive of small businesses I'd return... even if it's just "the hype of eating non-meat products, for whatever the reason" I do wish the business well. I get my haircut down the block and had yet to stop in. I just got a molar tooth removed so I'm in a soft food diet. I saw they had their cheesy heaux & hawt tub tomato soup combo. It was perfect for my situation with chewing currently, but more importantly the staff was so nice and upbeat. You can tell they have a very team oriented vibe. I was greeted when I came in the door with a smile. The track list playing was great. They got my order in quickly and it came out hot and the heaux grilled to perfection. Came all the way from Denver, CO and were prepared to be degraded and called sluts, but not to be so disappointed by the food. First let down was how difficult the menu was to navigate, there are so many options but the screen flashes between options really quickly so *be ready and know what you want when you walk in.* $50 for two items, ouch! The hot chick'n came out a bit mushy and had so little slaw that it was like a joke. The Philly was good, however my partner ordered it to be gluten-free (confirmed with the cashier who told us it would be in a bowl) but it came on bread and the extra cheese we paid for was soaked into the roll, so that meal was like $25 for some fries and 1/4 cup of loose veggie meat. No seating inside (or nearby) so we hunted for quite a few blocks to find a place to sit and eat out of the rain. By the time we found a table, we were too far to go back and get these things fixed, but I would have wanted my money back (or at the very least a side of slaw and the gluten free item as ordered for the allergy). This is a plant based patty with pickles galore, vegan cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and the famous house sauce. This burger was so decadent. I savored every bite. There is also a small bathroom in the back of the restaurant. Everything is vegan in the restaurant. I had to deduct one star because this restaurant is not wheelchair accessible. I eat fries all the time but these had the perfect crisp and perfect light but flavorful seasoning. Probably the best fries I've had. So good that I ordered waffle fries from a bar later that evening which I normally would've found good but barely made it half way through because the slutty fries were on my mind. The chik'n head had a nice combination of sweet and tangy flavor with some yummy crunch from the cabbage. The flavors were perfect. I just wish the chik'n itself was crispy. It's soft and kind of gets lost in the bun, but the perfect marrying of the flavors made up for it. Currently, take out only. I hope that changes although unlikely because of the small space because winter is coming and sitting in the nearby park or walking back home and not having my fries right away is not a long term option. I was fortunate to not have to wait on a line, which apparently is rare from reading these reviews and the equal responses from my friends asking if there was a line when I said I tried it. LOVEEE this restaurant!! 5/5 I am so glad I got to try slutty vegan when I was visiting NY. They are originally from Atlanta and recently expanded to new york. They have some of the best vegan burgers I have ever had in my life. The patty was delicious, not too oily/greasy, and tasted what I imagined meat to taste like. My friend that eats meat says the patty tastes identical to a regular beef patty. The bacon was also good but I could tell it was vegan. The cheese was soooo melty and the flavor was on point. Loved the fries with slut dust - they give you sooo many fries. There was a long line and it took about 30 mins to order. The food was ready pretty quickly tho after we ordered! Is it worth 1 hour of waiting? No. Is it worth it to eat? Yes. This place was packed and lines were so long at 8pm at night and apparently my neighbors told me it has not died down!!! Please don't come here expecting a normal burger because you will not receive that! I was happy that a black owned burger business opened up nearby and boy it has a huge fan list. They have people who hype you up at the door and I thought that was so fun! That is extremely expensive lol I don't know what I was thinking but that 1 hour wait got me desperate for food. When we got home, we opened them all up and they were all really hefty sized portions! They were a little messy which is what they pride on- it's like equivalent to a big 5 guys but vegan version in size! The fussy hussy was really good! They had a sweet tang to it that I can't stop thinking about and it really is super different from any other burger I've tried. You're in for a ride even for their most plainest sounding burger (they don't have any plain burger) I really enjoyed mine and it already made me full. I couldn't believe it was so good for a vegan food. Everything was moist and had a really good flavor. My partner didn't like the one night stand too much as I think we were expecting the vegan bacon to be crispy but it's not. The flavor for this one was like a barbecue but sweet and salty and I guess if you're looking for a regular moist burger with crispy bacon this is not the one for you- HOWEVER I would recommend this one if you're looking for a barbecue burger. Should you try Slutty Vegan if you're a carnivore? Yes! I've been waiting to find out if Slutty Vegan lives up to the hype because not all vegan burgers are worth trying. It was definitely worth it! I ordered the One Night Stand which is a vegan cheese burger w/"bacon". One bite into the sandwich and I was shocked. Very rarely does plant based food taste like actual meat. The burger and the bacon had great taste and texture. There is a sauce on the burger as well that adds a nice taste. The fries with Slut Dust was nice and crispy with the right amount of salt. The staff had a great attitude and seem to really enjoy working there. The restaurant is takeout only which is my only gripe! I'd seen Pinky's interview with the guys of Earn Your Leisure. So when I heard she'd opened up a location in Brooklyn, I wanted to go support and see what the hype was about. I stood in line for about an hour and it took them 30 minutes to give me my food. I think they must have overlooked my order or something (and another guy who had placed his order way before me), because everybody generally got their food roughly 10 minutes after they placed their orders. They gave me something for my trouble, which I appreciated. The line was ridiculously long and took a while to get through because the location just opened. And there are about 10 people working the kitchen, so they were doing the best they could. The food was reasonably priced -- $15-$17 per burger, which comes with fries. The location is super tiny, so there's no room to dine in. Overall, the food was good. Not great. It tastes almost exactly like Lucky's Famous Burgers (if you're a New Yorker and are familiar with the small chain). I'll give her credit for being able to replicate the mouth feels, taste and look of conventional fast food. But if I go back, I'd have to wait for the hype to die down. I've yet to actually going into their restaurant to order so I cannot speak on the ambience or the face to face interactions between customers and workers. I can say however through Uber eats their service has been proficient in terms of getting your food in a timely manner. I ordered the fussy hussy with sweet potato fries and the banana pudding. Me and my friends needed something very fast and after going to a numerous of places that either had to long of line, or didn't have space for all of us we came here. I'm a pescatarian and I don't eat plant based "meat", I never will. I got calamari and fries and lemonade. My friend got a cheeseburger and hibiscus. When I initially heard about an Atlanta-based vegan burger spot called "Slutty Vegan," I was curious. Who wouldn't be? The black-owned, women-led restaurant, opened in 2018, was inspired by the founder's mission to bring vegan options to Atlanta's West End. In an attempt to attract non-vegan customers, they selected sexually-themed names for the food. It's a fun concept, and certainly turns a lot of heads. I had the "Sloppy Toppy," a plant-based burger patty with jalapeños, vegan cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and their signature "slutty sauce," which is both savory and sweet. The first thing I noticed was that the burger is definitely...sloppy. It's impossible to eat with your hands unless you have a pile of napkins at your disposal. But despite the mess, it's a great veggie burger. It also comes with a side of crinkle cut "Slutty Fries," dusted with special seasoning.
