Despite paying $140/per month for the 2 cars (normal sized); they refused wipe down the seats. I could have understood if the seats needed lot of work. Beware of Slydes Car Wash. They had an employee in uniform stand in front of the Kiosk meant for self-service. He blocked my car from getting close enough to access the machine, and asked for my card while offering assistance. Asked for and received the one time, full interior detail for a 2014 Kia Sedona minivan. Dropped it off at their Flower Mound location when they opened at 8a and it was ready by 11:30a. They did a FANTASTIC job. Van interior looks as though I was diving it off the new car lot for the first time. Nothing was missed (knobs, handles, cup holders, seats, floors, mats, etc.) and after 12 years of hard use, this was quite an accomplishment. Even smells clean! I shopped other places, theirs was the lowest price as well (+$11 for next lowest price). This is the third time I have worked with them (all different cars). Has always been a 'better than expected' experience every time! For reviews you see where someone was expecting this level of clean from a quick stop $20 shot, their expectations were set to 'stupid'. You get what you pay for. If you need beauty out of a beast, you will need to pay a little more. For a minivan, the going rate for full interior clean is $200. read more

Asked for razzle dazzle srvice..59 dollars plus 10 for oversize..so 70 dollars.had mud and dirt on rubber matt afterwards..was told i hadnt payed to have that done..that cleaning matts was extra..the matt covers whole floor so you dont even have to lift it and vaccum rug..when i mentioned that he said oh you have car seats so its hard to vaccum and i should have told lady i wanted my floor matts done..and be charged extra i guess..i said for 70 dollars i expect a clean car and if something is not included how am i supposed to know esp when the mat t is the only thing you are vaccuming read more

Just paid $40 for a car wash that was no better than what I could have received at the 7/11 drive thru car wash across the street. My car was barely vacuumed and the interior was not wiped down properly. The lady who took my credit card was rude and dismissive as well. I asked to speak with a manager and was completely ignored. I have been having our cars washed at Slyde's Car Wash in Flower Mound Rd. in Flower Mound for years. Their service has always been top notch and their equipment the best. But since they upgraded their washing equipment the car is definitely cleaner. Of course, they continue to do their post wash finish and vacuuming and the result is better than before the upgrade. read more

Inconsistent service. Car was dirty on the inside the last time I went there. Instead of explaining to me that the package I picked didn't include the detailed interior cleaning (happy to pay more), they cleaned it then quietly decided they weren't going to serve me again. I went back there today, and no one came up to my car. Workers just stood there, so I asked is someone going to serve me? A worker then explained that they would not be serving me anymore because of the last situation, which was their fault not mine. Either way, my car was dirty. Took my car in for a vacuum and wash and was told that it would be 20.00 dollars extra because there was dog hair in my car. The reason was they had to switch out to a special tool. I had to pay it as I needed the backseat vacuumed. This is a ridiculous amount of money for a little bit of dog hair. I have been coming to this location for years and have never been charged any extra. I most certainly will not be back. I visited this location today to get my fathers car washed and detailed. I am from North Carolina and they did a fantastic job in making sure that the car did not get damaged due to it had running boards on his van. They detailed the car in a very reasonable time and the vehicle looks great! Karen Luna is the Manger and her follow-up and friendliness was fantastic. I've been going to this car wash location since it opened as Kiki Kar car wash, but I won't be going back. My last three washes at this location have not been good at all. The last time I took my truck everyone was on a break so the lady that helped me charged me the incorrect amount. The only way I found this out was due to the fact that I paid extra for leather dressing and after I left I realized they did not do anything to the leather. Upon my return I noticed my bed cover was coated with a layer of soap and dirt. They fixed it all for me, but it took two trips. This last time I learned we now have to drive through the wash ourselves, which isn't the end of the world but I also don't consider that to be "full service". They kept insisting it was faster this way, but it absolutely is not. The guy in front of me didn't follow instructions and moved his steering wheel causing his Tesla to jump the track effectively shutting down wash. if you leave your car in park it can damage your transmission too. I paid $68.00 for my wife's car because hatchbacks or "SUV" type cars are $10 extra (she drives a Subaru). I paid $58.00 for my truck, and when I got home my antenna that they removed was gone. I watched them screw it back in, but I failed to check their work, so since they didn't bother to tighten it down it fell off on the one mile drive home. I found it and put it back on, but I will not go back to pay so much money for such terrible service again. read more

They even worked on a scratch buffing it out to practically, invisible. Along with alerting me to a nail in my front tire. The personal care and attention is top notch! I found tremendous value. First time customer, I took my 96 year old father-in-law's 20 year old Range Rover in for a well needed inside detail. He had not cleaned it in maybe 8 years. They worked miracles on the interior, it was a new car. They charged the standard SUV detail price but I know they worked extra hard on it cause it really needed it. My car was sitting idle with no one attended to for about 30 mins while THREE people working on another car AT THE SAME TIME. When I asked them what's left to be done I was told "clean inside". I don't understand why one of those three people wiping the same car couldn't come "clean inside"... They charge $60 for this service, I am paying only $10 more for someone to come to my house and do the same thing. I've learned my lessons and will plan ahead next time. read more

Paid $50 for a wash (prices have gone WAY up under new owners) and when I got to my car there were still water spots all over the passenger windows. Yes, water stains from my sprinkler. Happens all the time and I've never had an issue getting it clean, I've been a customer since Kwik Kar opened this location years and years ago. Spoke to whoever was in charge outside, and apparently, they have an additional service I can pay for, or of course you can get a membership, and they can fix it. I grabbed my keys and told them they won't get another dollar from me. I got 90% of them off in less than 2 minutes in my driveway with a microfiber cloth and some windex. Won't return again. I got the premium wash for $59. Wanted to remove a couple stickers from my new truck as well as residue left over from me taking a few off myself, this was an additional $20. They did great on the stickers and the left over residue. The outside of my truck was pretty good. They polished the wheels which was great but there was a couple spots they didn't wipe all the soap off. The inside bummed me out. For $59 bucks i assumed they would clean my floor mats but they weren't touched. Still mud on them. Seats and dash got a great polish but for their best wash i really expected more. I feel like i wouldve got the same result from the $30 wash. Just meh. Service was great though, very nice people. read more

I have been to the Slyde's Car Wash on Lantana several times and have been satisfied with the job they did, however, today was different. I'm assuming the guy that took my payment is the manager, he tried to sell me on a full service detail for $200, but I couldn't do that today. I just wanted a basic wash on the outside and my interior to be wiped down and the dog hair (which has been much worse) to be vacuumed out. For the $60 I usually pay, they have always done a great job on this. After pulling my car into the stall to be vacuumed , the "manager " walked over and said something to the guy working on my car. After only 20 minute, I was told my car was ready. Not thinking twice about i, due to past jobs, I got on a d drove off. it was then that I noticed the drivers side looked like it hadn't been wiped down at all. Dust and dirt on the dash, control panel, steering wheel section, vents and door. I was very disappointed. I didn't expect the dog hair to be fully out of the carpe, but I did ex everything to be wiped clean. read more

I ran over a can of brown spray paint and it got all over my white car. Took it Slydes and when they saw the desperation in my face, Carlos dropped everything. Not only did he get all the paint off, he buffed out a few marks in the car and it looks brand new. I later found out he skipped his lunch to break so the paint wouldn't set in. This carwash is trash. I have used them at least 3 times. Each time I paid $35 to clean outside and inside. I wont use them again. Each time I have had to ask the to do what I paid for. The vehicle was not wiped down inside and there was still dirt around the vehicle is several areas that were obvious. I can get a beter $8 carwash than what I paid $35 for. Never again. read more

First let me say I love this car wash for the equipment offered...they have a great wash tunnel and the vacuums and carpet cleaner machines are great. The service and specifically management is the problem. I had a monthly membership for several months which I used about as much as most people use, which is not that much. I have also taken my sprinter van to them for hand wash/detail service on multiple occasions. The guys that do the hand wash do a great job and always happy with them, super nice, no complaints on the wash staff. For the bad....when they first quoted the estimate for the hand wash on my sprinter they gave me a price if I purchased the monthly membership for three other vehicles they would wash the van for X price. Sounded great so I agreed. When I came back a few weeks later to get the van washed the new manager said sorry we cant honor that price not sure why they quoted you that, but we will do it for this price...which was slightly higher. Wasnt that bad so I agreed. I had them was it several times at that price...all good. I come in again to drop it off and now the manager says, sorry its too much work we need to go up on the price again...this time it was a significant increase so I said never mind I'll find somewhere else to do it. I kept my monthly membership for the other three cars. Fast forward, I bring my sprinter van up there to vacuum it out. While I am vacuuming it a lady in a car pulls up and is just staring at me kind of weirdly?? A few minutes later a worker comes up and asks if I am going to pay for a wash. I explain to him that the van will not fit through your tunnel I am just vacuuming. He says you have to pay for a wash to use the vacs....I tell him I pay $70 a month for a monthly membership for three of my cars, surely i can vacuum the van.....he says no, Karen(imagine that, the lady that pulled up watching me) the manager said I cant vacuum if not paying for a wash. WTH?? I give them $70 a month for which I may use it 2-3 times a month and I cant vacuum a van for 10 minutes? I then tell him thats fine I will cancel my memberships and take the business elsewhere that they appreciate monthly loyalty. To add more to this issue....I would always take my vehicles to them for oil change and inspections. They had done my truck once before already. I took the same truck in there the week prior to the vacuum incident to get an oil change and inspection. The service tech informs me that they will not be able to do the inspection as my window tint is illegal. He puts his fancy tint detector on the window and says "see its illegal"? Keep in mind its a 2018 truck I have owned since new with the same "legal" window tint on it since new. Its been inspected 6 times prior to this, once by their facility and has always passed inspection. I tell him never mind I'll go somewhere else. I go down the road to another facility and specifically ask them to test the window tint...they put the same type of device on, test it and everything is ok. They do the oil change and inspection and collect my money. All this to say, the management is extremely inept if they cant train their employees better and don't understand that running away a monthly member that pays $70 a month so he doesnt use your vacuums without buying a wash is ridiculous. Go to one of the other 100 or so car washes in the area where they want your business...not Slydes....or you might have to deal with a "Karen"! read more

I went in their Flowermound road branch to get an outside wash and interior dusted; nothing too fancy. It was going to cost $35. I was rather surprised when after only 5 minutes somebody poked their head through the lobby door to announce my name. However to my shock every thing from the external wash to the so called interior dusting was rather shoddily done. Grains of sand, carpet lint, a few leaves here and there littered the inside. The side windows had streaks running up and down them. Upon pointing these out, the guy who sa8d he was the.manager started arguing with me. He insinuated that for another 30 or 30 bucks the things I was pointing out could have been taken care off. At least I got then to give the interior one more lick of vacuuming before I drove off considering my money well wasted. I'm crossing them off local Flowermound business I patronize. read more
