Communication has been minimal, and no one has offered any goodwill because we "didn't buy the car from them." Our warranty claim was denied because we didn't have our services done there--but I actually tried to. Their online service portal doesn't even work (you can check for yourself), and no one ever called me back. It's frustrating to be blamed for something that wasn't our fault. When we tried to talk to the sales manager about possibly buying a new car, he told us we'd have to talk to corporate for any goodwill or trade-in help. It really felt like they just wanted to pass us off instead of trying to make things right. We've been loyal Hyundai owners, but this experience has completely changed how we feel about the brand and this dealership.

We called and they said they got a lot of these "college delinquents" and they actually got us in on short notice (probably that whole last day of Break was reserved for folks like us). Unlike other places that use high-pressure tactics, Derrick actually listened to my needs. I was blown away when Derrick and the New Car Manager, Keith Christopher, offered me double what other local dealerships had quoted for my vehicle. Not only was the offer more than fair, but they also handled the process faster than anyone else. The entire atmosphere was 'chill'--no games, no stress, and no endless questioning. The facility was spotless (including the restrooms) and they even had a great beverage selection. If you're buying or selling anywhere near Western PA, save yourself the hassle and go see Derrick and Keith.

They provided a price to replace two tires that were the same as what came on the vehicle but were $100 higher than a local tire shop. Although Nissan shows a Nissan Tire Match program in the MyNissan owner portal the service & parts manager wouldn't honor the program. I called Nissan corporate and they said they couldn't help me because the dealers are independently owned and operated. So long story short don't go to this dealer if you want the best pricing and to feel like a valued Nissan owner.

He was kind and extremely patient. He was a gentleman, professional, and made it an enjoyable experience. He took his time answering all my questions, worked we me on price, and showed me the features of the car. I had gone to another Subaru Dealer that was actually closer to where I live but walked out of there so utterly disgusted and frustrated.     My wife bought a 2016 Ford edge from this dealership and has had nothing but problems with the…read morevehicle. They had to replace the transmission and the engine. The engine had a cracked cylinder causing antifreeze to cause a misfire and fouling the spark plugs. When they replaced the engine they used the same old fouled spark plugs from the bad engine, still causing intermittent misfires. Now they expect her to pay to have the spark plugs replaced when they should have been replaced with the engine which was done under the warranty. In my opinion, Smail can't be trusted to do any car repairs in good faith that it's done properly. There have been many other issues as well, so my advice would be to go anywhere else other than Smail.

After some wheeling and dealing and telling them we would go some place else, they conceded. A little over 6 years later and Smail Ford has shown their true colors more than once! The first was a pinion gear recall on the truck. We took it in for the recall repair. Went to the shop two weeks after we took it to them, (with a few phone calls in between) the truck was sitting outside with the repair not done. My husband took the mechanic outside to talk to him and find out why the repair was not done. After numerous excuses we left. It took almost 3 weeks to get our truck back! Plus they fried the battery! Jump to 2/6/23.....we took the truck in again for an oil pan leak, (which Ford knows is a common issue with the F-150's) three weeks and one day later, WE STILL HAVE NO TRUCK!!!! They are saying they can't get the oil pan, but last week it was to be there by Friday. No phone calls, no communication.....NOTHING from the service department! The truck only has 38,000 miles on it, plus we purchased a 10 year extended warranty. Never will we purchase from Smail Ford again! Their service department SUCKS!!!

    Buyer beware. I had leased a 2021 Lincoln Corsair from Smail. The lease concluded September 2025…read more As this was my first lease I wanted to contact the lease company, Ford. I first called them in July to inquire what my options would be and when I need to make a decision to turn it in or purchase. Ford lease company spoke to me and then sent me an e-mail confirming our conversation and what to expect. I asked if I could purchase direct from Ford lease and they said no, that I had to go to a dealership to purchase. I made an appointment with smail to purchase this vehicle. I went into the Ford/Lincoln showroom and was directed to a young man, introduced myself and advised my decision to purchase my leased vehicle. He asked if had a vehicle safety inspection and I advised him that I've already had conversations with the lease company and I had an e-mail advising what my responsibilities are and what to expect including exceeding mileage-not applicable; wear and use-not applicable; vehicle inspection-not required ; pay applicable fees such as taxes/license/registration. The young man at smail insisted they have a policy of a vehicle safety inspection. I asked if there was a cost and he said yes. I again reiterated my conversation with Ford lease company and the email confirmation of these details. The salesperson disregarded this information so, I left. I called Ford lease company again and explained my frustration with Smail automotive. I was told again the safety inspection was not necessary to complete our purchase. I was also told I could go to ANY Ford or Lincoln dealership to complete my transaction and if needed, call the Ford leasing company and let them speak to the dealership about this no applicable issue. So I called a Ford dealership just a couple miles away and they agreed to help me with my vehicle purchase with only license/title/registration fees and NO SAFETY INSPECTION. My advice to any customers leasing from Smail with intentions to purchase their vehicle is to NOT go back to smail but contact another local Ford dealership to avoid unnecessary charges and possibly other unnecessary charges. Buyer beware.

When I picked my car up I noticed I was charged nearly 200.00 for an oil change when I specifically told the receptionist I did not need since I just had that done at another dealer. I brought it to the attention of Michael, my SA but was told he didn't have that in his notes. I have a copy of my appointment reminder and it definitely states in there not to perform the oil change or tire rotation. I was told he would look into and have never heard back. I would not recommend this dealer!

My mechanic said for me to go to the dealership to get the issue managed. I don't really like doing business with dealerships due to a bad experience at another place. But I needed the work done so I went to the Greensburg location for help with my engine problem at the beginning of February to get a quote on how much they would charge me. They told me how much it would cost and when I was ready to bring my vehicle in. Finally I was able to get the amount that they quoted. Brought my vehicle in. I told them that I had only the amount they quoted for my vehicle issue. They understood. They ran diagnostic which turned out that my cad wasn't the issue. They told me exactly what they were going to do. They also hold up integrity. Didn't hide any problems that may have arose. And if needed other services are available so you are not out of transportation for everyday tasks. I want to recognize employees Rob and his manager Ed for helping me remain in the quoted costs and helping in other arrangements for transportation while my vehicle was being worked on. And thank you to Crystal for managing the paperwork for transportation and payment. Thank you to the mechanic(s) who worked on my vehicle I couldn't have my vehicle with out any of you.
