The Food was freshly made and Delicious! The staff was extremely professional and kind! Don't be fooled by the small space this cafe is Wonderful.

What a special little place! The food was very good! We stopped to grab a quick breakfast bite and were surprised by the overall homey feeling of this place. My partner ordered a Western Omelet (see pic below) and it was definitely a hit! Yummy and juicy! Not greasy at all, good and simple omelet dish. We don't eat much bacon these days, so we asked for no bacon. One recommendation if you get this omelet: add some onions (if you are a sucker for onions like us). Pancakes were simple and exactly what we were looking for! You can taste the blueberry and they add a bit of cinnamon which adds that kicker to it. I thought the pancakes were a good portion, you can share between 2/3 people (as a dessert item). The server was caring and attentive. They were having some construction going on inside the place, fixing the AC or installing a new one. The place was a bit disorganized but he apologized for the inconvenience and mentioned that summers are pretty brutal, so they wanted to ensure the customers wouldn't feel too hot inside. Very thoughtful. Def coming back whenever driving by the area again! Local gem!

It has become one of our favorite spots for home made style food... I personally love the huevos rancheros... my son Liam loves the pancakes and the wifey The Delicious Healthy. Today we decide to try the steak & eggs and the western omelette. Don't forget about the fresh orange juice. Thanks for reading and please come try this place it feels like my mom is in the kitchen cooking for us. Haha

What a find! Come here for great food and a local feel. It was clear that some of the people around us were regulars. The breakfast was delicious and our plates were filled with large portions. The California Omelette was beautiful with fresh avocado slices on top. Thank you for the great food!

Small, clean, fun cafe. Food is delicious. We had empanadas and Chapin. Great service fresh air, kind staff. A must if staying at Marriott Courtyard, just walk down 2 blocks. Enjoy!

Guy decided to do maintenance work right behind me causing us to move our seats terrible place

As much as i hate to backtrack on a previously good review, i must say the service I've been getting must be mentioned. Like many small business that is starting to fail i have started to witness shortcuts in their products. Cheap slice cheese on a burrito instead of shredded cheese, fatty chicken chunks in the tacos but what my sister and i experienced takes the cake. We met up for breakfast and everything seem fine. The empanadas were very oily but thats fine. (Strike one). We had to get up to get our own ketchup and aji sauce and syrup. (Strike 2). We get our food and the pancakes were insanely dry. I literally had to drown it in syrup in order to be able to cut. I managed to eat half and gave up. So i went on to my eggs and turkey bacon. Some laborer decided it was a great idea to start replacing fire alarms right behind me. Thats disgusting. First, your all over my personal space. Second, its dusty. So we moved to the next table over. Waitress sonia or whatever her name is (odd woman that plays host/waitress) continues her seemingly insightful conversation with another man. I go up to complain and she gives me a sarcastic look with a smirk and proceed to say "yeah they should know better". Then processed to give me a bunch of excuses. No apology, no comps on our meal, nothing. We didnt even get a simple coffee check. When i didnt leave a tip she sacastically said " have a lovely day". Every comment here are from locals that dont speak english and/or friends of the owner. Small village cafe lives up to the name. If you not from this village you will not feel welcomed here. AVOID AT ALL COST. go to the Dunkin donuts next door for better service.

I stopped in for something lite an ordered the pork Nachos. Very good seasoning and moist pulled pork. All the other traditional ingredients to satisfy my hunger. Chips look to be homage as well. Great ice tea to wash it down. I recommend this place if your in the neighborhood

Ordered: Crispy artichokes ($15)- these were fried and tasty with a creamy yogurt sauce. Nothing crazy or exotic flavor wise, but enjoyable. Polenta bites ($12)- I really enjoyed these! They were a little salty, a little smoky (bacon) and a little sweet (honey). I will say that I strongly recommend Village Social either update their menu or change the toppings, as these polenta bites were topped with crispy bacon but the menu did not indicate this. Vegetarians in our group didn't realize this dish wasn't vegetarian. Chicken Milanese ($28)- the portion was very generous! It came with a large chicken breast and I requested to change the salad on top to Caesar. I appreciated their willingness to modify the order. All in all, I'd recommend checking out Village Social the next time you're looking for a dinner spot in the area.

The frickles were good, but the batter was fairly thick, which made the pickle flavor a little subtle. For my entrée, I had the fried chicken with collard greens and mac and cheese. The chicken was nicely crispy and came with four pieces, though it was a little overcooked for my taste.
