Well, he told me none of my vents were screened, told me all the covers on my less than year old home were plastic. Fortunately I had my home inspection for my 1-yr warranty the following week so I decided to wait to see what the inspector said so I could have the builder cure anything possible. Absolutely zero evidence of anything having been in my attic, zero entry points. Inspector confirmed the covers on the vents are metal and not plastic and that every single vent is already screened. I'm not sure what the guy from A-Tex saw but I trust my inspector more. Just to be safe I had another estimate from a pest company done and they confirmed what my inspector said. Very disappointed and confused about what feels now like a scare tactic with this company. I've never experienced a critter situation before so I felt trusting but now I know to get a second opinion for stuff like this always. I'm sure they help people but my personal experience will keep me from considering them again in the future.

Made suggestions to help proactively keep pests out and worked quickly but efficiently inside and outside the house. He even checked that I was aware the eco friendly inside spray had a slight odor and wanted to make sure I could tolerate it before he sprayed it throughout the house. She said they don't do drill+inject Fipronil, but she reviewed my exclusion plus bait station plan and made several helpful suggestions. It was a 20-minute call and she knew from the beginning that this would not be a paying job for them since the one thing I can't do myself without a pest control license is something they don't do themselves, but she was generous with her time anyway. At the end I offered to pay $50 for the consult but she said it wasn't necessary. I will certainly call them if I'm unable to locate the entry point of rats into my rental house.

After they completed the work, the situation was actually worse than before. The shower, which had not previously been backing up, began backing up, and the toilet overflowed after their service. When we called to report these new issues ( a half hour after the " plumbers" left ), instead of taking responsibility or returning to inspect the problem, we were told we would have to pay additional money just for them to come back and look at it. When we explained that the problems occurred immediately after their work and that we did not believe it was reasonable to charge us more, the representative said a manager would call us back. No manager ever called. The lack of accountability and follow through was extremely disappointing. Communication throughout the entire process was poor. The plumbers did not clearly explain what they were doing, what they found, or what to expect afterward, leaving us with more questions than answers. When the work appeared to create additional problems, the company showed little interest in resolving the situation without collecting more money. Because of this experience, we will be disputing the charge with our credit card company and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We paid for a service expecting our plumbing issue to improve, but instead ended up with additional problems, additional costs being demanded, and no meaningful support from the company afterward. This experience was frustrating, costly, and completely unprofessional. I cannot recommend ANC Plumbing.
