Finally decided to try this over-hyped option. If you order on the app it allows for a kids meal containing a single patty burger, small fries & small fountain drink for $6.79. I ordered at the counter, cashier tells me no kids meal option available. So I order a single patty hamburger, small fries & a lemonade to go. $17.09!! Hmmm, first alarm! So I sit at the table right in front of the counter where they are putting the bagged food orders & I wait for my number to be called, which is on an 18" stick right next to me in clear view of the counter. Eventually one of the workers puts a bag if food on the counter. No number or name called. So I sit & wait. Finally a worker looks at the bag of food, sees my number on the stick, & hands it to me. I said "thats bern sitting there ready this whole time?" And she replies yes & laughs!! I get home to my 5 mins away home & unpack my food, which by the way is not wrappex at all, the bag is an open handle bag that doesn't roll closed, the burger is in open wrapping paper meant to leave on to hold while eating & the fries are in an open tray. No surprise, my food is cold. The burger is a decent burger but the fries are not even edible. They're just a frozen crinkle cut fry anyway, clearly nothing special in the best circumstances! NEVER have I been treated as poorly by any restaurant staff in my life. Ordered through UberEats for Lunch at work. The bags were secured with a tape with a logo for safety. That's the only positive thing I have to say about this visit. We ordered a double burger and tots, along with a a BBQ burger and onion straws. It was dripping with grease so bad that the bags were both soaked. The items were NOT bagged with the correct sides. I called and a guy answered the phone. He has absolutely no phone skills and no knowledge of the store. I asked for the manager (Brianna). Brianna was NOT kind. Kept interrupting me when I tried to explain the issue, and said it's not their fault that the items were bagged the way they were. FYI...there was no comment section on how to bag...we put the order in as sandwich,side then sandwich, side. The first 2 items go together, the 2nd go together. When I asked for someone ABOVE Brianna, she said that there is no one above her. I said, "So YOU own the company?" She finally transferred me to someone, but didn't put the phone on hold and.was badmouthing me to the other employees . The person that she transferred me to was a line cook supervisor....she was somewhat better to listen, but wouldn't give her name clearly. It sounded like Jeremy. My family of four came in on a Tuesday at noon after mini-golfing nearby. Our boys have never been to Smashburger before and we're excited to try somewhere new. When we ordered two milkshakes for our children we were told by the cashier that she didn't have time to make milkshakes and that we couldn't order them. When I asked what she meant she said again that she didn't have time to make them but that we could order them later after the food for everyone else was made. She tried to proceed with our order but we decided to leave and go somewhere else for lunch. I was taken aback by this because there were two people who ordered before us and one person in line behind us. There were plenty of empty seats available and the place was not crowded. Maybe they should hire additional staff or evaluate their current staff if they cannot make two milkshakes on a Tuesday afternoon. read more

I placed an order online for pickup for a hamburger and sweet potato fries. The order was ready when I arrived. It's much better than Culver's. The restaurant fried in beef tallow and canola oil. The bun was a little on the frail side & kept falling apart. To be honest all these pop-up burger places (Epic Burger, Shake Shack, M Burger) all taste the same to me. All very good, with a slight twist. The tater tots at Smashburger are excellent! Tossed in olive oil, rosemary & thyme seasoning, they're light, crispy & melt in your mouth until you get to the bottom of the cup which is just oil. So eat them quickly! I was about to have lunch at MOD Pizza next to this restaurant, but I just decided to go in here instead at the last minute. I also saw that the MOD Pizza is packed and busy, and this restaurant is not very busy, so it is a really good idea to go in here instead. Smashburger is definitely one of the burger restaurants that I like, with definitely delicious burgers. The restaurant is clean, and it is also busy, but not as busy as MOD Pizza next to it. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and it is also clean despite the busy situation. Their staff are friendly and attentive. I ordered a smoked bacon brisket burger together with fries and a drink. The service is fast, and within a few minutes, I was able to enjoy my order. I was definitely satisfied with my lunch. The burger is fresh and hot, and it is juicy, and the flavor of everything in the burger is so bomb. That burger is definitely not one of my favorite burgers from this place, but I think it will be one of my favorites since it is so delicious. My experience here was unbelievable. This was the nastiest person I ever had to deal with. I ordered through Grub Hub. They gave me an ETA of 30 minutes to an hour for the order to be done. I got there in a half hour and called to check on my order. She gave me attitude right away saying they just got the order and it would be a little bit. I said I would be outside in the curbside pickup space. About 10 min later, this woman WALKS UP TO MY CAR and says they don't do curbside pickup. She said I would have to go inside like everyone else and pick up my food, then turns around and walks back inside. I have arthritis so if I had known I just would have gone somewhere else. I go inside and by this time I'm angry realizing she walked out to my car. If she was a decent person, she could have brought my bag. I limped inside and asked if she was satisfied that I had to limp in painfully. I take the bag and she tells me to get out before she calls the cops.
