I was concerned when they kept messing up the details of the drop off and pick up, but things seemed to be cleared up that morning and we were good. But 16 minutes before they were due to drop off the tables and chairs for my son's birthday party, I received a text (not a call) that they wouldn't be able to make it for my order (see attached screenshot). I couldn't believe it! It was my son's 10th birthday party, he was so excited about being double digits, we had almost 70 people coming, and I had no tables and chairs!!! I tried calling them to see if someone could at least drive chairs to me , but they didn't answer my call. I then called Joaquin who wasn't even aware of the situation. I was hoping it was a terrible misunderstanding, but he texted (not called me back) that they wouldn't make it because of mechanical issues. He said that he'd see if he could find someone else to help but he never contacted me back either way. It was 3:30pm and my son's party started at 4:30pm and all they could say was sorry for your inconvenience. On top of that, he didn't even refund my deposit right away. I had to request it back that night. That should've been immediately done. We had to buy chairs and tables from Home Depot and we still weren't able to get enough for people to have a place to sit. I was late setting up and it was hard to get set up and greet my guests. It was awful!!! And all they could say was "sorry for the inconvenience ". It was beyond inconvenience. Because of the rain in the forecast, we were trying to find a good solution, and Angel responded to me immediately. She was so easy to communicate with. I tried sending her a picture of last year's setup, but it wouldn't go through, so she even gave me her personal number (and thankfully she had an iPhone, yay!) so I could send it directly. She was incredibly gracious and had some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. She asked thoughtful questions and really tried to help me figure out what would work best for our event. The pricing was also very reasonable, $350 for a 20x40 tent for the day, plus service fees and taxes. Honestly, that's extremely affordable. Unfortunately, since our event is for a nonprofit, it ended up being outside our budget this time, so we weren't able to move forward with the rental. BUT I absolutely plan to come back to Fran Kid Jump in the future. If I ever need a tent for an event, especially one that might get rained on, I will be reaching back out to Angel. One time during the pandemic I tried an independent operator--what a joke! They canceled on me THE MORNING OF my party and I had only 2 hours to find a replacement. I couldn't have been more sad that I hadn't simply booked with 909 Jumpers, they'll totally reliable and when I have an extra request (need the jumper partially on asphalt driveway, need a different delivery time) they always do their best with minimal up charges (heads up: a jumper on asphalt/concrete is an up charge and with good reason, I don't mind a small fee for them to ensure the jumper is safe and won't be damaged!). That party was rescued by a small jumper from a local party store, but kids really do enjoy the big jumpers a lot more. 909 Jumpers is the best: great prices, professional staff, very good selection. Don't gamble your big event going with unprofessional operators, it's not worth it and 909 Jumpers prices are very reasonable for the quality of service they provide.
