I've been going here for about 7 months now and my first visit was great. However, my most recent visit the hygienist was great, but Dr. Allen, the dentist had no bedside manner. She came in, looked at my mouth and didn't explain anything as to why they said I have a few cavities to get filled. I thought that was odd since the hygienist said my teeth looked great and I have good hygiene. I really think that they say you have cavities since it's a money maker or maybe tell you to get fillings before you actually need them. Needless to say, I'll be going elsewhere as I've been to dentists before that have done this as a money maker. I've been a patient at Smile Brite since August 2019. I started with dental hygienist Karen R. who was awesome! My current dental hygienist (Jamy L.) is excellent as well! I would highly recommend either. I'm usually seen promptly, unless there's a staff meeting; which has only happened once during my most recent visit this month. My only negative comment is that I feel they overdo it with the appointment reminders. I'm retired so I'm not on office hours anymore and more often than not they'll call or text and wake me up. I've recently opted out of their text messages so we'll see how it goes before my next appointment. As I was exiting my most recent appointment I noticed they offer Cherry Dental Financing which I may look into since they advertise that you can make smaller monthly payments for dental work; which is great when you're on a fixed income and prices for basic necessities are skyrocketing, but your dental plan only covers a portion for a root canal. There's lots of free parking and the location is convenient. Try them, I think you'll like it! read more

I am overwhelmed by the professionalism and courtesy of Dr Bishop and his staff. I had a billing mix up and it was going to be a struggle to pay. They were extremely understanding and helpful. Words cannot express how thankful I am for their kindness. I've been going there for over 2 years and every experience was pleasant and easy. I honestly hate giving a black owned business a bad rating but this office is awful. I had my first visit a month ago and while the hygienist Ernesto was very affable and polite, the Dentist Dr. Allen was rude, dismissive, and cold. She made comments about my teeth without explaining why. I specifically asked to not have any further appointments with her. I was told my next appointment would be in over a months time, and I was called numerous times by the office to randomly to change my appointment, when I would call back, no one in the front was aware why. The day prior to my appointment, I got a call where I was told I had to schedule with Dr. Allen, not Dr. Bishop because I started with her. I explained why I did not want to see her as her first treatment towards me was subpar. I asked them why they were calling about this a day prior to the visit and they told me they had no idea. Today I called in advance that I was stuck in traffic near the office- it's a forty minute ride for me from my job to them, and I was told no problem. When I arrived ten minutes later I was told to reschedule. I told them no thank you. I have already booked care elsewhere. Would not recommend this place to anyone as a child of a dental hygienist and a current physician who was thoroughly disappointed. read more

Dare I say, the best dentist experience I've ever had? I love my teeth. They are the only part of me that I unreservedly love, nourish, and even brag about. I floss multiple times a day, love to brush, and try hard to keep my smile looking it's best. Smile Brite taught me how to take even better care of my teeth. My hygienist, DJ, was easily the best I've ever had. The practice, from the front desk ladies to DJ to my extremely knowledgeable dentist, Dr. Allen, was very professional and made sure my visit was comfortable and pleasant. We've been going to Smile Brite since we relocated to Delaware about 4 years ago. Kendra at the front desk is awesome! I enjoy catching up with her each time we visit. She's always bright and positive. We always have great care from the staff. From cleanings to some unfortunate fillings, we've had a ton of experience. And, best of all no billing issues. This makes me quite happy. We drive quite a ways to get to Smile Brite because we enjoy the service that much. read more

My teenage daughter got her two front teeth cracked by a field hockey stick. I was devastated so I called her regular dentist for an emergency appointment. They were able to get her in the next day but couldn't fix her teeth until February 2nd. Can you imagine a teenager walking around for 3 months with cracked teeth omg? My daughter friend referred us to Dr. Taurance Bishop DDS and we were also able to get a next day appointment. I spoke with front desk and they were very nice and professional. Dr.Bishop made my daughter comfortable, he listened, and was patient with our asking lots of questions. He is a class A professional, not only was he was able to fix my daughter's teeth at that visit but he did an spectacular and amazing job. Omg!! God is not only going to bless him and his family but any and everyone that crosses his path!!! My husband, daughter, and I just found a new dentist!! Dr. Lim & Dr. Bishop are great people! The whole staff team there is so generous & helpful each visit! The waiting lobby was super clean and their fish tank is on a bean! There was a random water guy there to replace a water tank, he was pretty weird but the Smile Brite homies we're AMAZING! It's pretty welcoming overall! I feel like everyone working there has clean straight teeth so I was like "Yo welcome me to there party" LOL! All jokes aside, my favorite dentist EVER! I really appreciate the basic stuff like the reminders of your appointment via email and text. This is really important to me as I have a very hectic daily schedule. I would also like to commend the staff. Your consistent display of professionalism and warmth is one of the reasons I keep coming back and have made referrals. It helps also for those like me who are not always comfortable seeing the dentist. Keep it up, good customer service is a dying practice! Dr. Bishop is patient and has excellent "bedside" manner. Smile Brite Dental Care is by far the best dental office I have ever received care at. The staff is friendly and personable and always greet you with a pleasant smile. The wait time is outstanding. You barely have time to sit down before the hygienist come out to get you. The hygienists are professional and knowledgable and truly care about your dental health. Dr. Bishop is well educated and his dental work is superior. When he arrives in your room, he greets you with a warm smile.
