The pictures and reviews seemed very kid-friendly --and the office did not disappoint. They welcome the kids with a toy dispenser machine and an interactive video game in the waiting room. The nurse who assisted us was super sweet, affirming my son and building his confidence every step of the way. The area where they clean teeth and discuss the treatment plan is just one large room --not a lot of individual privacy, but it feels open and inviting. There's one large TV playing movies, which helped keep my son calm & at ease. All the nurses seemed super nice and friendly, but the actual dentist/Dr. seemed a bit aloof. When he finally appeared to discuss my son's x-ray, he did not introduce himself to me and he barely greeted my son. He was very thorough in explaining the issue/treatment needed, though. Unfortunately, I have to give 3 stars because the setup for treatment is not at all ideal. They ask parents to sign a form saying that the child can be strapped into a papoose blanket (which looks a bit like a straitjacket attached to a flat board) or to have their wrists strapped down to the chair (for the child's safety) AND then they also don't allow parents in the same room as the child while the procedure is being performed. Even though it was explained that I could watch my son from the doorway, behind a glass door, there is NO WAY I would allow my preschooler to be strapped down, surrounded by strangers and undergoing a procedure without my presence. We declined any further service --which was a real shame, since we both appreciated the office and staff. They ought to rethink their policies regarding this.

At Children's Dental FunZone, we were given a completely different and much more reassuring assessment, they said he only needs a few cavities filled, and that laughing gas would likely be sufficient given his age. At the first office, the dentist accidentally left a spot of fluoride varnish on his front tooth and told us it couldn't be removed. However, after our visit here, I noticed the spot was completely gone, they took care of it with no issue. The dentist here was truly amazing. He spoke to my son throughout the entire appointment, helping him feel calm and comfortable. I also want to compliment the staff! Everyone greeted us warmly and was incredibly friendly. The dental assistant went above and beyond by letting my son choose a movie to watch during the procedure and even sent him home with five toys, which made his day. The office itself is much larger than I expected and so cute inside it really creates a welcoming environment for kids. We are so happy with our experience and will definitely be making this our new primary dental office.

They gently took care of her teeth. They have tablets mounted to the wall for the children to use while they're waiting for their turn. Upon reaching out they were going to be closed but happened to be able to get me in on a day off with clear and concise explanations of all fees.
