The office was well-run, appointments were on time, and communication felt clear and professional. Over time, after changes to the front desk staff, my experience began to shift. Wait times became consistently longer, and the overall organization of appointments felt less reliable. During one visit, a hygienist mentioned that certain areas of my enamel were weaker and adjusted her polishing approach accordingly. At a later appointment, during a cleaning performed by the owner, I was told that one of my teeth had chipped and was offered a repair "if I wanted to." There was no explanation of how this related to prior notes about enamel weakness, and I was left unclear as to whether this information was being tracked or consistently communicated between providers. The final issue that led me to leave the practice occurred when I arrived for an appointment, signed in, and waited for over an hour without being seen. At one point, it became apparent that I had been overlooked. When this was brought to the staff's attention, I was told that I "should have said something," and it was also suggested that where I chose to sit in the waiting room led staff to assume I was with another family who had arrived earlier. This was confusing to me, as I had signed in upon arrival and was present in the waiting area the entire time. At that point, I no longer felt confident in the office's internal processes or communication. I have since moved on to a different dental practice, where all my concerns were clearly explained and addressed. I'm beyond grateful I was able to find a new practice. I'm sharing this review not to criticize individuals, but to encourage patients to be mindful and proactive, particularly around appointment flow and communication. This office was excellent when I first began coming here, but my experience declined over time due to organizational and communication issues.

Where do I start!…read more First of all, I was in the most pain I have been in in a long time when it comes to my teeth and I couldn't wait another day. Upon reaching out they were going to be closed but happened to be able to get me in on a day off with clear and concise explanations of all fees. Due to the extreme nature of my situation Dr Sandy and the entire office was able to asses the situation professionally, quickly and referred me to the right people with her name and stamp on it. She was able to get me meds, mouth wash and the products needed to keep me going while I had to have a different procedure to come back for her to fix my crown. They told me they would give me a call to let me know my out of pocket once they checked with the insurance. I never got a call back. 2 weeks ago i called them to ask about it and the girl told me she would call me back in 20 minutes to let me know and guess what, she never called. Last week i called them again and she said she would call the insurance and guess what, i never got a call again. Then tell them we are going to charge you to fix all these problems all the while none of these things were true. How does a "Medical Professional with a license" get away with wanting to cause unnecessary pain to a patient just to make a buck and make an insurance claim? This is some dark and evil stuff. I knew I was being scammed right away because I am 43 years old and have never had a cavity. What kind of "Doctor" would drill into someone's perfectly healthy cavity free teeth just to make a buck? The answer to all these question is this Dentist and Office would do all these things! I was livid leaving this office with a quote for $2,500 when I knew I was being scammed. So I called my childhood Dentist to get a second opinion, who examined my teeth and gums, did not find one cavity or sign of gum disease. The just gave me a normal cleaning and confirmed what I had suspected, that these fraudsters were trying to take advantage of me. Well they messed with the wrong person... they have probably scammed many people before me and will probably continue to scam people after me, but maybe this review will be enough to warn people NOT to come here. My first appointment at West Coast Dental was in early January. I'll admit that I was initially a little disappointed, as I had hoped to complete everything in one visit. I later scheduled an 8:00 a.m. appointment for January 31st and was told I would be seen and treated that day. When I returned on the 31st, I was treated by Dr. Pham, and Esmeralda assisted me with billing and benefits explanations. This is where my perspective completely changed. It quickly became clear why the office is so busy. Dr. Pham did an outstanding job, he was empathetic, kind, respectful, and took the time to thoroughly educate me about my treatment. Esmeralda was equally wonderful, clearly explaining what was covered by insurance, what was not, and reviewing my options without any pressure. Together, they made the experience genuinely positive. Fast forward to today, when I returned for my wisdom teeth extraction. Once again, Esmeralda was welcoming and helpful, and this time I was treated by Dr. Nguyen, the oral surgeon. She was incredibly efficient and skilled, the procedure was quick, smooth, and completely painless. I was honestly amazed at how comfortable the entire experience was. And so appreciative her and the dental assistant (whose name I forgot. Sorry) truly cared and eased my nerves.
