I didn't even get an appointment here - the office manager was downright harassing me to get updated x-rays before she would agree to have a cleaning. I said I'm fine with x-rays as long as they're covered by insurance, but I just want a simple cleaning. Nope, they won't schedule me until I'm willing to shell out for x-rays. I've never heard of this policy in my life and it comes off as really money-grubbing. Skip! read more

Very pleasant experience! I have had terrible luck with dentists and this was so different. Even though I got the bad news that I need to replace a crown, the doctor and assistant explained everything so well that I realized it was the best approach. The office is very clean and high-tech and the staff is friendly. I had the sense they are up to date on all of the latest procedures and options. I recently stopped in to see Dr. Elizabeth Spence to get a routine cleaning, along with my semi-annual exam, and couldn't have left happier. First off, her office is really cute. The place is bright, clean, welcoming, and stylish. Its overall feel will immediately put any nervous patient's mind at ease. Also, the staff couldn't be nicer. The receptionist always greets you with a smile, and her dental assistant does a great job at making a patient feel relaxed and comfortable. As for Dr. Spence, she does a great job at explaining any issues or procedures. She works efficiently, and I have always felt comfortable during any work. As for the cost, I have never had an issue with her taking my dental insurance, and have found her prices fair, and pretty comparable to surrounding dentists. She dose not seem to care if you are in pain. Needed tooth pulled but she refused to prescribe pain pills said ibuprofen would be fine after she pulled it. I got up and left cause I was already in a lot of pain I wasn't about to let her pull it and not give me something that would help with the pain. My family recently moved to Naperville, IL form MN. My son's orthodontist back in MN highly recommend Dr. Elizabeth Spence and I agree with her 100%. Even though it is a bit of a drive from Naperville, the care I received was worth the drive or in my case train ride. Her office is very conveniently located to the Main St. Metra stop making it easy to schedule appointments before or after work and continue my commute. She offers early AM appointments and some evening appointments too making it easy to fit your schedule. Dr. Spence did a great job on my cleaning an exam, she was very thorough and gentle, and explained everything that she se saw during my exam. The office staff is very nice and helpfull. Dr. George was great! But they keep changing what I owed and kept creeping up in price. And again today. They are very focused on paying what you owe when you leave. Did not tell us we are not not in network. Don't go unless you are network. Again did not leave without girl in front say you owe this so pay. When I had payed ahead of time. I deleted this when I wrote it. Funny just got a phone call I owe them 200. Dollars when it's been one week. I told them to bill me and got call anyway. Girls up front are rude and not nice. Need more education on insurance when they give someone a quote went from 500 to almost 2000. How did this happen? Had to pay Half way through my treatment when I knew. read more
