After visiting I was suspecting I was alone in my opinion but glad to see a lot of the reviews are reflective of the overpricing and condescending tones used by staff. The teeth cleaning was quick and professionally done, and was very nice. However, the estimates given were ridiculous. Additionally, am I the only weirded out by the zero privacy? The x-rays are conducted in the open hallway and the rooms themselves are terribly sectioned. While getting photos done the door was wide open and other patience's and drs are just walking by. Just a weird experience and heads up for anyone who likes basic privacy... Also just have to call out that all of these new "good reviews" are due to them giving out a free teeth whitening pen if you make a review. They do read the review before even given the pen so it's forced compliments. read more

The above time and date is subject to change per provider availability." Easier to call instead of wasting your time going on line! WOW oh WOW. I work in medical and have never seen such poor reviews for a practice. So glad my experience was in just trying to get appointments for myself & husband. Receptionists could care less about me not moving further. They must have enough patients! Smile Lab, you're not the only show in town. No complaints. This office is super clean and the staff is friendly. The office is very pleasing to the eye so I was a little scared that I would be overcharged or be smacked with a surprise charge. I only paid my co-pay and the price for a fluoride treatment . they got me to get the treatment with little to no convincing so just stay vigilant because they are good salesmen lol.. but I did leave feeling clean and the service was not rushed at all so no regrets. My dental hygienist was very sweet and so was the dentist who came in and gave me a run down of all of the possible options. They do quote very high for extractions and fillings so always get a second opinion, as I've learned over the years. read more

I was interested in having Botox just in the area between my eyebrows; no more. I read the reviews of this facility. I read that the staff was friendly and that it was affordable. I called, and yes, the office assistant who answered was very cordial. When I told her the nature of my call and what I aimed to have done, she put me on a brief hold and came back with the price of $800. I was taken aback and simply wished her a good day, and that was the end of the exchange. I find that cost to be high for Botox, only administered in that area between the eyebrows, not the forehead. I do not understand the hype. It is not affordable, unless you are part of the 2%. It is quite misleading. Disappointed to say the least. read more

Came in for the first time for a cleaning and they did a great job. Incredible service, quick wait time and the full team was thorough in their care. Hygienist did an amazing job and gave recommendations on keeping my teeth and gums healthy, and I got a consultation with a doc to go over any concerns once more. I had been a patient at Smile Lab for several months, but my recent visit was extremely disappointing. After a cleaning, I was left waiting over 20 minutes with no update. When I had to leave for work, I wasn't given an apology for waiting for a dentist who never showed up, and then i have been aggressively told I owed over $500 without prior notice or a clear explanation. The charge was from an insurance underpayment dating back nearly a year, which I was never informed about during my multiple visits. Despite having paid $950 earlier in the year, no one mentioned an outstanding balance until now. This lack of communication and abrupt handling of billing felt unprofessional and frustrating. I've decided to switch to another provider. Patients deserve transparency and respect. Sadly, I didn't receive either here. read more

WORST ever!!! Went in for an appointment, provided the same insurance card I have been using for over a decade (I'm 25). Was told my dental insurance plan could not be located? This has never been an issue before. Due to the fact that it was a Saturday morning, the nasty girl behind the front desk told me she couldn't contact my insurance company and I would have to pay out of pocket. The best part is after I checked in, I received a call from the dentist herself, asking if I still planned on coming (with an attitude of course) after I had already checked in and had been sitting in the crowded waiting room. She laughed and hung up. Another scammy, gimmicky, place that cares more about the aesthetic of their office then actually helping patients... exactly what I wasn't looking for. Waise and his staff take great care of our family's dental health without pressuring you to HAVE TO make additional purchases. That's not to say Dr. Waite and his staff WILL ABSOLUTELY tell you what you may benefit from based on your visit and their professional opinion. The office is aesthetically modern with complimentary refreshments in the waiting area, Netflix to watch during your appointment, and upbeat music in the background. The staff is well versed in what your dental insurance covers and offer plans & options, if needed, to upkeep that glowing smile and prevent future invasive work that will take a sizable bite out of your pocketbook not to mention pain. Please read the 1 star reviews before you book an appointment here. I'm convinced the 5 star reviews are fake, this place is simply a money grab with a staff that does not care about patient needs. I was billed over $12,000 in the course of a month. I received a crown + deep cleanings & scans that they recommended I get, when I looked into the claims on my insurance and called the office to see why I was charged so much, the receptionist responded in a condescending tone and explained the definition of things like insurance, premium, deductible, etc. and was not helpful at all. I'm still in the process of disputing a bill for nearly $1k that I wasn't made aware of until months after the procedure. This ordeal has been stressful to say the least. read more

My husband was scheduled for a tooth extraction in 10 days time but when he awoke on a Saturday morning he said the pain was unbearable and please to do something. He is wheelchair bound and has dementia. I used the Smile Labs website to initiate an appointment and the called me back within 5 minutes. They said they could see him within the hour and I pushed my husband over in the wheelchair. Fun on a Saturday morning but what can you do? Every aspect of the experience was superior. The desk staff are friendly and professional. I was shown an estimate and asked to sign it. No surprises. The charge seemed more than reasonable to me. I would literally have paid three times that to get my husband out of pain. When the exam room we were initially assigned was too small for the wheelchair we were moved blindingly fast into another room. Similarly the exam and consultation and even X-rays whizzed by and the dentist and his assistant were concise and professional. I immediately relaxed when the dentist briefed me. I requested to be included in the consultation and the debriefing and they did so with no fuss or bother. In addition my husband, who can be fussy and over-sensitive to pain was calm and collected each time I entered the exam room so he was obviously treated with care and consideration. We were in by 11 and out by 12 or 12:30 which is incredible to me. In addition when my husband was still in pain 3 hours later I called and asked for a stronger short term pain prescription and again that was provided with speed and efficiency. I don't know what would have happened today without Smile Labs. They even have snacks and drinks in the waiting area which is decorated more like a hip little hotel than a dentist office. 5 stars is not enough. read more

I had already consulted another dentist that took my saving dental plan and I knew the price. It is fixed. This office added over $500 to the charges - all unnecessary! I went in for a routine cleaning and was told I needed 3 fillings done on my left side. I scheduled the appointment for a week later and the dentist tells me it's actually for the right side. He starts the fillings then leaves the room without a word. He left me there for 45 minutes, with a hole in 3 different teeth. He completed the fillings just for me to come back in 2 weeks because of extreme pain and sensitivity. Fast forward....both teeth needed to be removed due to inability to complete a root canal & I still can't eat on my right side since the last tooth with the filling hurts. I refuse to go back since I have paid over 2k in dental work when they told me my insurance was going to cover almost everything. The clinic is beautiful and the staff is nice, I just think it's ran like a car dealership & the Doctor's try and take your money. read more

I went in for a cleaning and they told me that I needed a deep cleaning instead. My X-rays showed that I had no cavities but Dr. Parsa Basseri looked at my mouth for two seconds and declared I had cavities. He also tried to talk me into an implant after I said I wasn't interested at the moment. He talked about a teacher who was a client and that she was beautiful. It seemed really weird. I should have had red flags from all this but I have never felt like a medical professional was scamming me before. Then, I was brought into a room to talk about payment plans and was told that I needed to pay for half upfront. An implant was written into a treatment plan despite me being clear that I wasn't interested. The whole thing seemed really off and I booked an appointment with another dentist. Of course, that dentist didn't find the cavities that SmileLab lied about. read more

I'm actually really bummed to write this review. I was such a fan of Smile Lab until today. I have been going to them for about a year. The first time I came, I was informed that I should get a deep cleaning. Since I hadn't been to the dentist in over a year, I thought that would be a good idea and moved forward with extra payment and multiple appointments. I also needed to get my wisdom teeth out so I continued with them for the convenience of the oral surgeon in house. Although expensive, I had a great wisdom tooth extraction and follow up experience. I now went to schedule my next cleaning and was informed at 10pm the night before that I had a $155 charge because I needed periodontal maintenance. When I informed them that I just wanted a regular cleaning, they told me I must get the maintenance for $155 because of the deep cleaning and I will need to continue this $155 maintenance until they believe I can move on to regular cleanings. I responded and told them I was not aware of this and that if I cannot get a regular cleaning, I would like to cancel my appointment. They cancelled my appointment with no hesitation, stating that these maintenance appointments were discussed in my original treatment plan. I will not be returning. read more
