Dr. Oliva's office is one of those places that I want to tell everyone about and also want to tell no one about in fear of it getting too busy! First, it's the cleanest, most spa-like, dentist office I have ever walked into. Second, the staff is unbelievably kind and welcoming from the second you walk in, til the moment you walk out (even if you're the last patient on a Friday). Third, the hygienist and doctors are wonderfully gentle and calming - something that is often missing from dentist's offices. Finally, what makes the experience completely unlike others is the masseuse on staff who literally gives you a hand and foot massage while you've got a lavender facemask on and are getting your teeth cleaned. Where can I begin with my experience from Christiana the receptionist getting me as a emergency appointment for my gums to seeing Dr.Kim. Dr.Kim and Jovie were gentle with me and I'm not that fond of dentists, and explained everything to me prior to doing anything. I had an issue with a prior filling and she corrected it for me the same day along with imaging. I love that they have morning appointments where I go prior to work. The office is nice. The dentists and staff are friendly and professional. I didn't expect a spa-like experience here. I came after seeing the positive reviews. It was a nice experience. Unfortunately, I was left waiting 30 minutes passed my scheduled appt. My annual cleaning, with several dentist, are usually fully covered. This is the first that it was not. It was so overpriced that I just received a bill for addtl out-of-pocket expense. $540 for an annual cleaning. Even with new x-rays, this was the first I've had to chuck out extra. Not worth the small bit of glam. read more
