I have been going here for years, but wanted to highlight a recent issue with a filling that got quickly resolved! I called about what I felt was a cracked filling and was able to come in the following week to get it looked at. They took pictures of the tooth so I could see the issue close-up and they were able to fix the filling that morning! Dr. Diep and Vanessa were very fast. Dr Diep was so nice chatting with me while the local anesthetic numbed my tooth/jaw. My insurance covered most of it so I only had to pay $30 for the fix. My jaw is still a little sore today but it's a small price to pay for my teeth to not crack/rot and become painful! read more

I was a patient here for several years and had to stop going because they hired new staff that are completely rude and disrespectful over the phone, but wants to act differently in person and are in no way helpful, one of them couldn't find my records because "you provided me with the incorrect name" I know what my name is.....I've only had one since birth..... Their "specialist" put my crown in incorrectly and when I told her it felt backwards, she told me "no it's right because I followed the grooves". It was not right and I had to walk around for weeks with a backyards crown in my mouth.....she didn't even color match with the replacement crown (original one had to be replaced because of her incompetence). We were very happy with our experience at Smile Line Dentistry! The staff is super friendly, everyone is hilarious, and they clearly love to work here and together. Dr. Ghobrial is a great doc! He was able to squeeze in an urgent appointment for our son and extract a molar without any cries or complaints, and in fact, as seen by the photo, he was very happy despite the bloody gauze in his mouth. paid $199 as soon as i entered the office. soon afterward the hygienist insisted, multiple times, that i have an $1100 "deep cleaning", implied that it was a mandatory prerequisite for before proceeding with the dental care necessary, and that it could be done immediately. it was only when i refused to have the procedure done that day (as i'd had a deep cleaning done before and knew it involved extensive numbing of the face that would be a serious incononvience to have at that time) and was practically out the door that i found out from the receptionist that by simply signing a form that a regular cleaning would suffice and THAT IT WAS ALREAD"Y IINCLUDED IN THE $199 THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID, and what's worse the not only had the hygienist not performed it, but had never even mentioned it! further investigation has shown that this business has a history of patients being pressured to perform unnecessary and expensive procedures specifically including "deep cleanings". i'm contemplating filing a criminal action involving attempted fraud. read more

I had to call 4 times for them to send me a release of records and yes my partner called but she didn't ask for any medical information! Front desk said they will email my personal email, I waited more than an hour. My partner called again for the 3rd time saying it's urgent and no email was sent and then they want to switch up and say they can't send it, I need to call but that's not what they said the 3 previous calls!!! I had a very good experience. They talked to me made sure I was calm (I have had bad dental experiences from other companies in the past including one root canal that a company did not numb me for). Smile Line employees made sure I understood the proposed care, numbed me and spoke with me throughout the treatment. They were understanding, caring, and very professional. They advised me that my level of care has far exceeded the level of care anny stand-alone dentistry can provide abs it would be best to see UCSF or Pacific Union College. i have a very complex case, and they treated me with kindness and understanding. On my first visit to this dentist, she informed me that I had a gum disease and that I need to have a deep cleaning with follow up visits four times a year. What's funny is that before I was even seen, the front office informed me that this may happen. I laughed it off because I have stellar cleaning records. I was very impressed with their existing technology but, that is not the most important part of their service. What I was impressed with was the greeting and attentive response to my presence when I arrive. On my second visit, Stephanie, the front desk administrator, called out my name, before I even seen her face, to get me registered and in to my appointment right away. Then there is Amanda, a Dental Assistant and Hygenist, who loves her work and making sure you are comfortable with no pain. Always making sure I am doing okay while she continues her busy work. TL;DR: Just make an appointment, you won't regret it! Truly wish I could give 10 stars! Same story as a lot of people...horrible experiences in the past lead to putting off going again for years and now, my already problematic mouth is a hot mess! However, in attempting to start over with a new dentist office that was actually good, I got super lucky and found Smile Line right away. I fully expected my search for a new dentist to take a while until I found someone perfect for me. Honestly, I'm still shocked it was this easy. Making an appointment was quick and I was scheduled within a few days of calling. I ended up having to reschedule my first appointment and they made that very easy, getting me in the following week. I've now completed two visits and have two future appointments scheduled. All of the front desk staff is awesome...friendly and welcoming, hard-working and caring, and have a great sense of humor. Bridget, especially, is fantastic. She is clear and concise about your treatment plan and insurance, and can answer any question you ask. The front office staff is the face of a practice and this front staff is making Smile Line look outstanding! My first appointment was with Ghazal who is the Hygienist. She is absolutely phenomenal. It was no surprise to me when she recommended a deep cleaning...I knew it was going to be needed. I was apprehensive at first, but Ghazal honestly made me feel super comfortable. She explained everything she was doing, she constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable, and she is incredibly personable which really makes a difference. She makes you feel like it's not just some random stranger all up in your mouth business! She is meticulous, knows what she's doing, and is incredibly knowledgeable. Even though the process is not a good time in and of itself, Ghazal made it bearable. I saw Dr. Ghobrial for my exam. He was super patient and very thorough; taking time to actually listen to and address my immediate concerns, as well as completely explaining the details of my treatment plan. He didn't rush through an exam like most dentists...he was detailed and gentle. He also made some recommendations that will highly benefit my overall mouth health and comfort.
