I brought my daughter here for the first time today. Her dentist she's been going to since she was little left the practice. So we decided to try somewhere new. The Girls at the front were very nice and professional. Handled my paperwork easy. It was sooooo loud when we walked in with kids screaming and running around. My youngest loved the play area though. They had a movie on as well. We went to the back and one girl came in and just started to do the cleaning before we even saw the dentist. Which was weird to me. Then another girl came in with the dr. He said she had two teeth with cavities starting but to just floss and brush very good to prevent them from becoming cavities. Again weird to me. They left and another girl came in and did the sealant or whatever it was on my daughter's teeth. Granted every single employee there were extremely nice but I don't understand why so many different people worked on just a cleaning and check in for my daughter. They had music playing, a movie playing and the machine was so loud. It was a lot. My daughter did not like it there at all. Do I recommend it? Sure if you don't mind loud noise everywhere around you. But it wasn't a good fit for us. read more

I have taken both my kids here for two years and they are horrible with referrals and can't even find cavities on an X-ray . My daughter's teeth has suffered because of them and I will never use them again. read more

Brought my son for the first time to Smile Magic because he complained about pain on his tooth. As soon as we got there he was super nervous but then was immediately relieved when he saw they had a playground and a movie to watch plus the girls at the front where so nice and helpful. Once we where called back to do X-rays he began crying and honestly I didn't know what I was gonna do to calm him down but to my surprise the radiologist was super sweet to my son and knew immediately what to do and say to ease him down. My son was not nervous anymore and let them to the exam on him. He left that day super excited letting everyone know how great his dentist was and he went in confident and excited to his follow up appointment because he was looking forward to the friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this dentist to anyone that has small children and even big ones too! read more

We have been seeing the dentists at this location for several years. My youngest child has had issues with cavities becoming root canals a couple times in the last 6 years. The first root canal and crown placement by them went fine and they allowed me to sit in the room while it was being done. Within a couple months the crown came off and he needed it replaced. We were scheduled for another root canal and crown this month and it was a completely different experience. We were scheduled for 11 am and entered a fairly empty waiting room, only one other family. We still waited 30 min and no one could explain the delay other than apologizing. While discussing treatment procedure, I was told that my son would be strapped to a papoose board to prevent injury to himself or staff during the procedure since he would be under "twilight" sedation. I was told I would not be allowed to be in the room with him during the procedure. I explained to the staff he had this procedure before and there were no issues with me sitting in last time. I wasn't given a reasonable explanation beyond the doctor wouldn't be comfortable with my presence in the room. I was offered a camera with which to watch and while it wasn't what I wanted, I consented. While waiting for them to begin administration of sedation meds, the office manager returned and told me that because of our miscommunication about being allowed to sit in with my child for the procedure, the doctor would prefer to refer us out to another dentist. There was no miscommunication. I very clearly explained I had sat in before without issues. At this point it was an hour beyond his scheduled appointment time and I agreed we would be seeing a different dentist but we did not want their referral. read more

Front desk staff is rude and unable to handle simple tasks, like updating insurance info. This place overcharges by making kids get X-rays every time rather than once per year. Never been anywhere that tried to rip you off like that before. read more

Went here for a couple years for braces and the staff was great! My time in the waiting room was never more than 15 minutes and scheduling appointments was super easy and convenient. The doctors and assistants definitely listened to me and took time to answer all my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend, especially to families with small children. read more

Choose this practice only if you have major time on your hands. We endured a 2 hour visit and still left with unclean teeth. The waiting room was cool with the theater seating and play area but smelled like urine. I asked about the wait and was told that 2 hours is normal for the first visit. I choose this place because it seemed kid oriented and was local. No, thanks, I would rather drive 30 minutes and get right in for a quality checkup. Even with a movie, that is an unacceptable amount of time to wait with a 3 year old. read more

The worst dental place ever. My husband took our 7-years old son there, and they treated ten of his teeth at one time. The treatment included six SILVER crowns. The previous dentist said only one tooth needed to be treated. Before the treatment, all his teeth looked very good except one. I believe that they wanted to take advantage of our insurance. In addition, they refused to let my husband stay with our son, which terrified our son as I learned afterward. They tied his hands an legs during the treatment. When my son said that he was hurt, the doctor was inconsiderate. I agree that they have very good decoration and play activities (playground, theater, video games, face-panting ...). Also, the waiting time was reasonable. But who cares about that if they fail in the main job. I also agree that my husband bears some of the blame for allowing this to happen. But this is a WARNING for all parents who are thinking of taking their kids there. I will only recommend this place for my sworn enemies. That day was the worse day in my life. I really really really regret that my husband took my son to this horrible place. read more

What a fun and kid friendly dental office. Staff and dentists were great. My kids loved getting coins along the visit and then being able to cash them in for prizes. No more fighting to get my kids to the dentist. Yay! read more

I took my daughters there for a routine check up. Even with an appointment, we had to wait. They weren't very understanding of my rather nervous children. They weren't able to get ideal xrays for either of my girls. They then tried to tell me my 7 year old had 2 cavities after looking at these limited views. In the end, they put me in a high pressure situation, "You can get the treatment today for $$ a month." I went to get a 2nd opinion. The second dentist found zero cavities!! I believe they are trying to take advantage of people with insurance. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

No body in my family will ever return here for services or anyone I know. Parents beware!! My daughter brought her 3 children, 2, 3 and 7 yrs old to Smile Magic for the 1st experience and was told they all needed crowns ect ect.. and my 7 yr old granddaughter was brought in first to have two baby teeth pulled and a silver crown It was a terrifying and very traumatic experience for her, they would not let her mother go back with her to the treatment room and they tied her feet and hands put her head in a brace and a strap around her chest, she screamed and cried the entire time, which also horrified the 2 yr old and 3 yr old who could hear her in the waiting room when she came out she told her mother what happened and that the strap on her chest was so tight she couldnt breath and they wouldnt stop and she had broken blood vessels broken under her eyes from screaming so hard, when my daughter lifted her shirt up to check she had marks on her chest from the strap being so tight. we are outraged My daughter has since been to another dentist and the new dentist claims that none of the work they wanted to do on the 2 and 3 yr old were at all necessary or the 7 yr old either, and although he says the strap are not illegal he has never ever used straps in the 30 years he has been in practice.We are mortified that anyone would do this to little children. Also they claim to be pediatric dentist office and they are NOT. read more

PLEASE don't make the same mistake I did!!!!!! I trusted them with my child. THEN, spent 24 hours of HELL with my son and his excessive bleeding gums due to TRAMA to his gums by a dentist (Mr. Williams) who didn't know what he was doing OR was too rough on his gums. DONT take your child to this place!! Yes, its a cool looking place and the kids like that part, also they were very "nice" when talking to them but OBVIOUSLY they are not nice...... read more
