Yet...I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The office was clean, comfortable and cheerful and the staff was polite, helpful and friendly. More importantly, Dr. Lucido was unbelievably knowledgeable and professional. He gave me a comprehensive examination and addressed any of my fears and concerns. I come here every six months. They have a cute little waiting area with magazines to read and a few toys to keep the kiddos occupied. There is a little coat closet you can hang your coat in. They are very efficient and gentle with your teeth. My four year old son actually likes to get his teeth cleaned, which is great, I was terrified as a kid. They are so good with him and he gets a little toy when he leaves, so he is always excited about coming back. My teeth always feel nice and clean when I leave. They give really good recommendations too. The dentist comes in after the hygienist is done and does an overlook of everything. I grew up in pre-flouridated water days, and had lots of cavities. Having shared that, sometimes its just not avoidable. So I go when I have to. And I go to a wonderful dentist. He understands my fears and is kind and gentle and caring. I really trust him to take good care of me. He has the same office staff that has been there for years and know me by name. I think that also speaks volumes about what a good man he is. And the staff works hard to get me in around a very busy schedule. My appointments run on time. I get called in right on schedule and if they say its a 15 minute visit, I am in and out in 15 minutes! I highly recommend Dr Rappaport- for those times when you really need a dentist, and your twice yearly cleanings (yes, they really are important!)

I was willing to pay out of pocket for her to do this because in my life, I had something happen to me that (a very sensitive topic that I am only mentioning because I need everyone to understand why I do not want anyone to be subjected to her mistreatment). Dr. Kreitzer was so irate towards me for something that could of been handled so much differently. Instead of sounding like a concerned doctor, Dr. Kreitzer acted like an angry parent, belittling me and saying that "as a responsible adult, you should have done this- this - and that" but Im not her child. I am a paying client of Dr. Kreitzer who has given her $250 for a consult and was about to give her $2400 to extract her wisdom teeth. I could have gone to someone in-network with my insurance, but didn't because I TRUSTED DR. KREITZER TO GIVE ME BETTER CARE OVER A MALE ORAL SURGEON, but i feel just as BETRAYED. I called the practice and the office manager who took my call was very rude. The individual kept talking over me with condescending tones. Without taking any of my info, this manager told me right away the procedure was done because I had "severe bone loss on my teeth". Where did the "bone loss" come from as the person didn't even ask for my name or claim number? It was by then the person realized that she needed to take my info and look at my visit notes as opposed to making up an excuse for the code they billed. It was a frustrating experience. I have to deal with surprise billing and got yelled at by their staff. Also, the manager insisted she overheard the hygienist informing me it was not a tooth cleaning when I sat in their chair getting the procedure. I'll leave it for you to judge whether this statement is true given my visit was about a month ago with only me and the hygienist in the exam room. I would caution you to be careful when choosing your dentistry. Hope you won't learn the lesson in a hard way like I did. It's unfair to make the patient take a financial loss in the name of "for the best of your health" without informative decision consented by the patient.

Horrible dentist! This dentist does not care if he hurts you! He is the worst dentist i have ever…read morebeen to. I had a root canal which took him 7 hours straight to do. He works on you then goes to another patient which would be fine if he came back in to check on you. Sometimes I have wondered if he was out to lunch. He doesn't if he is hurting you just keeps working. My root canal was placed at an angle so its sticking out in a weird way, and its so big he had to first, and not enough. I also had a crown put in which is like a huge marshmallow in my mouth. My front tooth is now crooked. What a waste of braces. ​
