I was told my insurance wouldn't cover the almost $1500 procedure. when I questioned and refused treatment the dentist became very upset with me. she also mentioned with a tone in her voice to two other dental assistants at separate appointments, because the first mold of the crown was not taken properly and then blamed on this so-called crown extender and this was why it was taking her so long to replace a crown. After 6 appointments to replace a crown and get a filling. the dentist did the filling last and without care she was rough, the assistant was rough with the suction instruments as well in my mouth and caused large chunks of skin to come off. Of course, after being shot with Novacaine more than 10 times. I only noticed after the appointment which they blamed me for having a lot of so-called bleeding. I've never had this problem in the dentist chair before. The back filling was left textured and uneven without care. then when I ask about the deep cleaning the dentist said she didn't want to do the extra paperwork (pre-written referral) because she didn't believe my insurance was going to cover it in a few months with the current government administration And it would be a waste of her time. Before the cleaning, I declined the laser decontamination, which costs about $2,000 and is not covered by insurance. She walked out to talk to the receptionist, and came back acting like she couldn't care less about my treatment. She only worked on a couple of teeth and then called it done. I literally walked in and out in less than 15 minutes for this treatment. When I pointed out that she completely skipped the upper right side of my mouth, she insisted she had done it and asked, "Do you want me to go back?" What do you mean by asking me that? This appointment was supposed to be 45+ minutes, and you barely spent 15 minutes rushing through my cleaning! For the billing part, the receptionist girl insisted she couldn't find my insurance and tried to upsell me their insurance plus a $600 estimate for the regular cleaning service which I used to spent $20+ on. I had to call my insurance, connect it with her, eventually run through everything myself. I was overall shocked by their attitude and profit-driven behavior. For me as a patient, health is the top priority, cost is secondary. If they can't even perform a basic cleaning correctly, I can't trust them with anything more complex.

Unfortunately I have to post this under Dr. D's name because that dentist isn't listed on yelp. That dentist gave me 3 fillings - a temporary filling for a molar that she expected would need a root canal treatment (should have been a red flag already!), a permanent one for another molar on the opposite side, and the last permanent filling I'm ever going to get from her that is the cause for this review To summarize very quickly, Filling #1 = F for Failure. Filling #2 = F for Failure. Filling #3 = FFFFFF. My story is long...it may be gross. and I'm brutally honest. I had a hole in my tooth. Food got stuck in it. It hurt. I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. D after reading stellar reviews online. The weekend before my appointment the pain escalated, so I decided I needed to be seen sooner. Got squeezed in a day earlier...but not with Dr. D. Not-Dr.D looked at my xrays. Said I'll probably need a root canal, but don't do root canals. Not-Dr.D can do a temporary filling though, and I can check back in 4-6 weeks. If I'm okay then, temporary filling can be made into permanent. I got my hopes up. I got the temporary filling. Not-Dr.D closed up the hole, the pain I had before disappeared, and I didn't have to stick a pick down my tooth to dig food out of it anymore! I was happy...for about a day. Next day I noticed a gap between my teeth that made my gums hurt. I remember thinking...this is temporary, eventually I'll get it fixed and everything will be fine! But of course, things are never as simple as you wish them to be. As the pain came back, another hole opened up, this time on the opposite molar. Again, food got stuck. It hurt. I made an appointment. Second time is usually better right? not in my case...this time, Not-Dr.D decided a permanent filling would do the trick. I was esctatic. I thought: Permanent is good! ...no, permanent is not so good. Not-Dr.D's trick made it worse than before. Every time I chewed on that side it felt my tooth was going to fall off. One day and two half-hearted meals later I saw the real Dr. D about it. Dr. D herself was straight with me, no monkey business... one look at my Xrays and she knew that both teeth need root canals. that should've been the end of it. But my strong belief in second chances (aka stupidity) only served to dig my own grave a little deeper... because I had gotten my "game plan" and scheduled two more appointments after my last visit, I went back this Wednesday to get a third cavity filled. I'm hurting so bad right now...I want to die. I have a HORRIBLE I can't even think straight want to cut my jaw out kind of %"&*@!#" ache couldn't even sleep last night and am expecting another sleepless night tonight most likely I'll be needing a third root canal. I was immediately impressed with her approachable yet evidently competent approach. I recently decided to give her a visit myself after getting asked to do a lot of procedures and wanting a second opinion. Katie is incredibly attentive. She asked really good questions. She explained to me in a way that most other providers didn't what she is evaluating when it comes to the health of my teeth. We were able to agree on a plan, which helped me feel at ease. I instantly trusted Katie because her clarity and preciseness combined with her humble confidence makes it clear that she is a truly gifted clinician. I am 16 and have to pay for these myself, I talked to someone at the front desk and talked to them about payment and too see if there was anyway to go about this in a way I can gradually pay each month, the front office woman proceeded to say she had talked to a manager and I have to pay upfront. Hearing this I was dissapointed, but after when I asked for the appointment they said they were booked for 10 days and thats how long id wait for a retainer. 10 days is quite a long time, and given we spent thousands for these braces I expected to be able to get in quicker, since last time I was able to just walk in and get a mold of my retainers but this time that was not the case. I am extremely dissapointed, you would think after spending so much money theyd take you in in no time so your teeth don't shift.
