We discussed over the phone and he picked up the wood for a really good price the next day. Then I decided to go to another store and get some furnitures (6 box springs). He went to pick them up as well and delivered them, he nicely set them up in my place so it is not in the way as I was just moving in...While he was still at my place doing the drop off, I decided to tell him that I had some furnitures in my storage in NY and that I do not want the storage to charge me a fee for the next month which is in 4 days, he said, to me, " oh, let's go get it so you don't get charged the fees, I can do it for you"! . In about 30 hours, at around 4am, Eric drove all the way to NY to my storage, I had someone meet him there to open the storage door and to help load the truck, he drove back the same day and deliver the furniture in the afternoon. I was so happy, so blessed and I saved on storage fees :). Ever since, Eric has been helping me to pick up and deliver with his truck. And also, since this is a new home and I love to update any homes that I move into, Eric has been helping with all the paint jobs, Changing the light fixtures, and more... I was the first person in the house a few days after and aside from a clean fridge and stove, it looked like no one cleaned the house except for a few vacuum strokes. They gouged the FRESHLY painted walls to the point we needed to pay someone to Spackle/sand/paint the walls because we were out of time before a lead inspection/Open house and we would've been dinged for a gouge in the wall. At first Barry claimed he would pay us for the repair to the wall (via Zelle, his preferred method) , claiming they didn't do it; then claiming if one of his team members did it, he wasn't aware. We had the wall repaired and then suddenly Barry would not respond to a single message, did not pay for the repair which was MORE money out of our pocket and he denied the Zelle request. So not only was our house NOT cleaned, he did not keep his word regarding paying for damage that was NOT there prior to "his team" entering. We are filing fraud with our bank, contacting BBB for the work ethic, among other means to rectify this nightmare experience. Never again. Through Yelp, Metavision LLC was a company that promptly inquired about our situation and offered to come and give a free estimate. The gentleman I spoke with, Brian, was very knowledgeable and professional. He came and assessed the situation and assured they would be able to resolve our leak issues. He had to check his schedule and let me know when they would be able to come for the repair. Communication was consistent by phone or text and they were able to come within 3 days. I received the invoice for the work and the amount was reasonably priced compared to the average price for the work we needed done. The day of the replacement, we were in communication before arrival, during service, and after the work was done. Brian was actually very respectful and personable. He was able to answer any questions we had and offered to assist us further if any more problems occurred. I am happy we chose this business for our repair. They are new to Yelp with not a lot of reviews but have been doing business for over a decade. Black Owned Business too, which I am glad to see as this isn't as common in this industry. When we discovered mold in our attic, we got 3 estimates to remove it…read more The first estimator came out, said we had a very bad mold problem. On a scale of 1 to 10, our attic was a 7. We were quoted a price of $17000.00!!! But we qualified for a discount down to $14000.00??? Were we ready to sign the contract? NO. The next estimator that came out wanted to treat just half the attic, he said that's all that was affected. I had to show him where the mold had spread everywhere. I told him I wanted an est for the entire attic, and to also have the insulation removed and replaced with roll out insulation. He emailed the estimate the next day. Approx $4000.00, and he said he couldn't remove or replace insulation, but that shouldn't matter, because the treatment will kill the mold in the insulation. NO THANKS. I called Green Clean, spoke to Steve, he came out the net day. The attic was given a thorough inspection. The following day I got an estimate of approx $7400.00 to treat the entire attic with a 10 year warrant, to remove all the old loose insulation and replace it with new roll out insulation. SOLD! The work was done the following week. We were able to stay in the house while it was being treated, because of the green products that were used. We could have saved some aggravation by calling Steve at Green Clean, in the first place.
