I've been using The Cleaning Authority for nearly three years now. It didn't take long for me to become dependent on their service, which is excellent! Although I'm not terribly messy to begin with, it never hurts to have professionals do the hard stuff (bathrooms, floors, dusting). The cleaning team I have now, Team 12, lead by Briana & assisted by Heather have been the utmost pleasure to have clean my home. Their promptness, attention to detail (and yes, I am unbearably hard to please) and ability to do a quick and thorough job is unsurpassed! Whenever I have a 'problem area', (like a messy teenager or more than usual dust due to some organization project), I just leave them a note that these areas need special attention, and they always take care of it! I am always satisfied with this service, very reliable, pleasant, and professional. All of the team members are great with our pets, especially our huge, slightly intimidating, giant scaredy-cat of a dog. I have not ever had a "bad" experience, but I can always tell when Destiny is on the team that particular day (which luckily is more often than not). She truly goes the extra step, meticulously detailed and thorough, and treats / respects our house as if it were her own...and it shows. We are currently on our third service and couldn't be more pleased! This company trains their employees on how they're expected to clean and on the tools and products they are given to use. I love that they rotate a detail clean for an individual area each time they come as well as doing a normal clean for all other areas. They do change sheets on the bed but the new sheets should be left on the bed. I have found them to be personable and diligent! read more

This is the worst company that I have dealt with, not to mention they do not clean well. If you to pay full price for a half cleaned home, then this is where you should go. Oh, and did I mention that if you have a home that actually needs to be cleaned and they miss items that are supposed to be included they tell you that your home was too dirty to clean. Not sure how that is possible since they didn't even bother with big ticket items like the shower, dusting anywhere, and windowsills. If there is anything, even an empty box or trash can, they don't move anything out of the way to clean. They simply go around it....what?! I was able to hire a company that got it right on the first try, it is a shame to waste $400 to basically be told sorry about your luck. What a waste of time and money. Thanks for nothing. Oh My! These guys are life-savers! I am so pleased with this company. I used them for the last trimester of my last pregnancy, and now that I am 36 weeks along again, I am so grateful that I can rely on their service when I can't carry a vacuum or bend over to dust a baseboard. Everyone I have interacted with, from management to cleaning teams have been so kind and pleasant. They even love my hyperactive dog (or they pretend to)! This is the worst company anyone could hire. If you paid me to have them back I wouldn't do it. I have had them for quite awhile now & just about every other cleaning I have had to take photos & email Lynette (yes I'm naming names) as to my concerns. When it says vacuum the furniture you should do just that even though I have leather, dust over it. I have sent in photos of my bathroom, kitchen, living room & pub room just about every time. How can you say you cleaned the bathroom when the sink still has hair/dirt in it & the calcium residue is still on the drain stainless steel. If you carry the bathroom accessories (toilet paper holder etc) & there is dust all over them why wouldn't you wipe them down. Heat baseboards never get wiped down, carpets never get swept off & it's the same things over & over again that I have to complain about. Then to not get replies back from customer service (Lynette) is totally unacceptable in my books. I sent an email right after my cleaning July 26th stating my concerns & that I would most likely start looking for another cleaning company, no reply as of Tues Aug 6th. Sent another email stating that I am terminating with them immediately & asked that I at least get an acknowledgement that they understand since I didn't get reply from last email. I got no reply & guess who showed up today at my door, yep the team to clean. Allison (who is amazing) had no idea of being terminated & I can't blame her for the things being missed, it's The Cleaning Authority not training ALL EMPLOYEES correctly. They all should be doing it the same way but they don't. It's not Allison's job to go behind the people with her to check on them, they should all be held to the same standards if trained properly. I don't even have them do some things they are suppose to do like change the sheets, I do that & they still can't take that extra time to get it right. I can go on & on but I will stop here since I can't wait to hear the response to this review. We were customers of the Cleaning Authority for quite a while starting somewhere around 2010 or 11. In the beginning they were quite good. Paid attention to details, and were easy to communicate with If there were changes or concerns. Something has happened in the past year and We just recently terminated them. Nearly every visit they left things undone or performed work poorly. Lately we have found counters unwiped, areas undusted, sinks dirty, trash cans unemptied. The clincher was when they started to make the beds so poorly that we had to strip them and do them again. We would complain and sometimes the issue would get better for a while but then return to the same shoddy work. Communication with them also worsened when they started using a central switchboard. Requests and complaints were noted and referred to someone would call you back at their convenience. Then you repeat everything again if they called at all. I think the central is not local. finally, we were so unhappy with our next to last cleaning that we requested our money back and were told that we would get a redo instead. We could not reschedule before our next cleaning and assumed that the next cleaning would be the redo. That cleaning was just as bad as all the others and that's when we terminated them. They charged us full price for the last cleaning. When I called and inquired as to why we did not get the last cleaning free as a redo, they told me that since we did not reschedule the redo before our next cleaning they would not refund the money. However they would give me 50% back. I also want to note that they have raised their prices every year for the past few years. After we terminated them we found another local firm, licensed and bonded, for 20% less than the cleaning authority. read more

These guys are only interested in getting paid. They are interested in getting in and out as fast as possible. I pay extra for changing sheets, yet they have never done this. I pay extra for them to clean the inside and outside of the sliding door leading to my sun room. I opened the door after they left and the track is still full of dog hair. If your in a bind it is a good option. However, if you really want a clean home then keep looking. read more

I used them many years ago and recently resigned with them this past October and they continue to provide the same excellent cleaning services and great customer service I remember from 10 to 15 years ago.
