Second visit my son has had. His first time here was amazing, he was 3 & came back HAPPY. We all know the dentist can be traumatizing for kids. Mine is very aware and he was made felt super comfortable. They've got a TV that keeps the kiddos happily occupied. Quality of care is wonderful, as a parent & for a child. Front office is sweet and accommodating. Lastly, Dr. Aeen was such a pleasure. Very knowledgeable as my son had some breath issues that he was able to comment on and make a suitable suggestion. They're very patient and understanding especially for one of my children (age 5) who is special needs, very sensitive to loud noises and has trouble holding still. Everybody from the front desk staff, to the hygenists, to Dr. Arin were really wonderful. First visit yesterday. They were very sensitive to my 4yr old with lots of anxiety. The staff were polite and helpful. This was an emergency visit so it was important to my family to be seen immediately and they accommodated. I plan to return for my kids dental care. Was using a Westlake pediatric office- yes - more bougie over there but they kept double charging us and my insurance- we have little tolerance for that. Happy Costumer so far. Don't go here. They will have a nice dentist come and go over everything with you, but when you come to have the procedure done they will send in a rude, un caring , in a hurry dentist to do the work. They shove you out when they are done even if your child is still coming off anesthesia. And when you see your child's teeth you will not be happy. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. They were very nice. They were really honest with my daughter. They said she might need braces, but that's OK and the girl at the office just told me to sign this thing on this iPad. And when my daughter was done, they even gave her gifts like little toy and if you want sometimes they ask you if you want to face a toothbrush and it's so cute. Horrible service. Unfriendly staff. Had a procedure done for my son and the dr that was supposed to do it didn't even greet us and in the end was not the one that did it. They failed to inform us about the dr change. The sheet given to sign at the beginning wasn't given to us until we left because they forgot to. Mind you there was no other patients in the office at the time so it's not like they were busy. Only a couple teeth were supposed to be done and when our child came out he had double the amount of what we were told. We immediately changed to a different dentist that is 100x better and amazing with kids! This was when the place was in westlake but I'm assuming it's the same nonsense as it was before in any location those employees and drs are at. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I took my 5 year old here a couple weeks ago for an evaluation. We had just seen another dentist (who doesn't do sedation on pediatrics) the day before. They had taken a full set of X-rays. I asked them if they could send the X-rays to this office and they said of course. When I called this office I informed them of the X-rays and they said they would have them transferred. When we got there they said they were going to take X-rays and I said they were not needed as he had JUST had them done the day before. The office manager didn't like that. Then when the dentist asked to see the X-rays she had not even requested them yet. So we had to sit there and wait for her to request them. One more strike against me. How dare I ask that X-rays be sent over!! The dentist was AMAZING! Very kind and answered all my questions and concerns. I booked an appointment for him for the procedure on our way out. They informed me that it might not be till 11:30am. I said that's a long time for a 5 year old to not eat or drink ANYTHING. I mentioned I would give him ice chips if he for thirsty. She said NO! I then said "well I'm his mom and I know what to do...a few ice cubes are okay". Strike two she really didn't like that either. I was then sent an email saying that he was on the waitlist for an appointment and that they have no future appointments available and that I should look for another dentist. When I called and spoke with her she was unprofessional and refused to give my son an appointment. I asked for the owners information and the office manager Renee (not sure if that's how it's spelled) denied giving it to me. Steer clear of this place. read more

Made an appointment, asked them if they except delta dental. Was told yes. Apparently they don't. They ran the insurance prior to me getting there, just for me to walk in and they go oh sorry we don't take the insurance. Would of been nice to receive a phone call or them tell me they don't accept it when they called me several times to confirm the appointment. The girl checking in was so rude about it to especially when I asked why they didn't tell me instead of me taking off work and coming 30 mins away to get turned away. My daughter just turned 5 and has always been fearful of the dentist even though she's only had cleanings normal cleanings and checkups and has only had to endure the "discomfort" of X-rays twice. This dentist office is fabulous! On our last visit she wasn't prepared to have X-rays done so started crying, as kids do when faced with unfamiliar, uncomfortable medical procedures. The hygienist wasn't "bad" she was just trying to carry on with her job and is probably used to kids crying or maybe she was having a bad day. It was a busy day at the dental office, so I don't blame her. The dentist, however noticed my daughter was crying, shaking, having trouble catching her breath and came over to take over and finish the cleaning and let my kiddo calm down for a minute. She's amazing! She helped me calm my daughter by talking to her and telling her how good her teeth look and so on. I really appreciate that extra attention when a child is having a hard time. The Dr. even walked us up to the front and let my daughter choose a toothbrush, stickers, the whole thing. She's very kind, very patient and I wish I could be a patient there! I highly recommend this dental office for kids that are nervous about the dentist and kids that aren't. It's a great place with accommodating staff. read more

It is sad because I loved the actual dental care my children received. We came on two separate occasions and both times the dentist we saw was so nice. He put my children at ease, provided great care and overall that portion was great. Unfortunately, even with the great care we received I won't go back because the front staff is SO bad. Not only are they not nice, but based on the interactions I've had with them they are also not smart. It just ends up a hassle dealing with them. read more

Let me say that I've tried to call the number provided if you didn't have a pleasant experience and it's the number to the staff working at the office. I used to rave about this place & recommend so many people here when the office was located in Westlake Village. I am not sure what happened to the old staff but I came to the new location & had the worst experience ever. The front staff are unwelcoming, immature and just plain rude. There's one specific girl who was literally trying to argue with me. The staff here clearly don't know about consent, effective communication etc. The dental assistant who cleaned my sons teeth was probably the only nice person & the dentist himself wasn't too bad, but everyone else here, no customer service skills. I Can see on past reviews, I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience with the staff. I hope the owner sees these post & does something about it. This place is ridiculous. They still have everyone wear a mask. So ok I put a mask on my 4 year old, well they are a pediatric dentist, but don't have any kids masks. But right when he sits down he takes it off to be exams. What is the point? We also waited a extremely long time to be seen and no one else was there. The customer service was very rude and they did not care or show empathy at all. Right when we walked in, it was to be greeted, but immediately ask if we had a mask, than gave us them, than i waited, and than had to ask is someone going to check us in?? Meanwhile my son is getting frustrated not only have to wear a mask but because it keeps falling off of him. The dentist was very kind made me laugh. He was great! Yes, it's a nice facility and kid friendly. However, don't let the appearance deceive you. I took my twins for a follow up and prophy appointment.As a waited for the doctor to do a comprehensive exam, she informs me my son had several cavities and needed 4 pulpotomy and crowns (based on xrays only, not clinical). I informed the doctor I was in the dental field, and I can see on the X-ray the cavities are no where near the pulp. The doctor soon changes her diagnosis to restoration fillings. Not only what she did was wrong, but completely UNETHICAL!. Trying to aggressively diagnose my son treatment so they can get a total of $250.00 per tooth instead of $60 by our insurance. It makes me sick there are doctors that practice this way and the dental board should really look into it. To make matter worse, I observe the dental assistant scaling my son's teeth, which of course, is not within her scope of practice and not license to do it. Of course the owner will pay a lower salary to the dental assistant to do a prophy instead of getting a licensed provider. Please do your research and get a second opinion for dental treatment before taking your child here. read more

We love this place! My daughter has been seeing Dr To first in Sherman Oaks but then she opened this office in Westlake and we could not be more thrilled. Now that she needs braces she sees Dr Lim in the same office. Invisalign for teens was a great option for us and we go every 6 weeks to see the progress. My child is afraid of every kid of doctor on the planet... but has no problems going into this office. The patience in this place is amazing!!
