But it's the perfect location to gather with a group of friends who want to come and go, open-house style. Pizza, drinks, and alcohol are offered via food truck. The space is scenic with a view of the water, and it's cozy as well with couches, chairs, and picnic tables. During cooler temps, firepits are an option. A parking lot is available, but parking can be found on side streets too.

Most of the employees are very nice and helpful, and there is a great sense of community among boaters. It is very expensive, though, and keeps going up every year. It's the only dry stacking marina in town, though, so people pay it. The marina owner has actually told customers that if they didn't like something (like wanting something to be fixed, or inquiring about the dent in their boat), they can go somewhere else (and many do); he has a waiting list to get in. So you can tell that due to lack of competition, the customer service and work ethic from the top is very lacking. It is also very disappointing that for all that money, the bathrooms are really dirty. As one example, sorry to get graphic, but I used the restroom one day, and there were some, um, remnants in the toilet. I went back the next day, and the remnants were still there. So if that was still visible, I assume they didn't clean anything in the bathroom at all. You can tell that they are rarely cleaned, and this is a big problem for me. Also, it is a safety issue that a lot of the dock lights are burned out, and have been all summer. Many of the dock planks also need to be changed; they are a tripping and splinter hazard. It's a good location with a nice sense of community, and good potential, but the marina really needs to focus on basic maintenance.

I have never had a problem parking either in the adjacent lot or across the street which is their lot also. The boat has always been ready on time and the dock staff is second to none. I have used their service department a few times and once again they are excellent. Prices - well you can always complain about them but I find them reasonable for the service rendered. I had my boat put back on the trailer today and everything was ready to go. The staff was on spot and worked as a good team. The boat needs TLC that I wanted to give it from home so the boat will winter at my house instead of Washington's Landing. But I have no hesitation about giving Washington's Landing my recommendation.

I have rented boats from here numerous times in the past years. They have gotten more strict about…read moreridiculous things and this past year has really pushed it over the edge for me. We came back to the dock and as we were checking out they told us that we had an extra fee for excessively dirty Boat. We had no more "excessive" wear then any other boating experience. Apparently we had some mud on the floor of the boat. We asked if we could clean it ourselves and they told us no if needed to be power washed. As they walked towards the boat with a garden hose and rinsed it within less than 5 minutes and that was it. They were extremely rude regarding the entire situation and we will absolutely not rent from this marina again. It was an absolutely asinine situation.

I did not receive the invoice and tried to get a hold of this company for 2 days. Never once did I hear back from them. Finally I got a hold of them on Thursday and they said that I was never booked. After talking to various employees I finally got a hold of the manager who ensured me that we would have a boat come 1:30 on Sunday. As we are driving from PA on Sunday, the marina calls me and says that the boat broke down and we cannot go out today. What kind of company doesn't have extra boats? There is no doubt in my mind that the marina was overbooked and they lied to us. Keep in mind, this is all for a friends birthday. This marina won't be around too much longer? The owner and manager are by far the worst businessmen in West Virginia. If you rent from this place you are doomed to have your day ruined.
