Going to Joe's is a breeze. You get in and get out within 10 minutes without a wait. However there were 2 cars ahead so it was closer to 20-25 minutes total. Just got my smog check done here yesterday. We called ahead and the man that helped us (assuming he was the owner) was very nice said we could come 30 mins before closing and he would take us, unfortunately I had a personal health issue that delayed us from getting there so we thought we would try anyway and if he wouldn't be able to take us we would just come back in the morning and we were so surprised that he took us! Why am i giving this shop 5 star is because, i came in a week ago and Saro checked my car which i had the engine check light on so he said that i have to fix that first which i did and came back today. I was out of there in less than 15 mins and only charged me $40 bucks. Not like MR SMOG AND REGISTRATION SERVICES, 2 years ago(2015) in Van Nuys, i went there and the charges were way out of line. I paid him for the registration of my car since he does the service but the fees he charges are ridiculous and also he charged me $10 fee for him to change my address to my latest address, come 2016, never got my Vehicle registration Renewal Notice, come to find out, by going to DMV, my old address was never changed. So actually, i was scammed by MR SMOG AND REGISTRATION SERVICES. read more
