I called the place the day before I came and the owner Hovik was very kind and told me pricing range and the best way to schedule. I went there at the time I said I would so I don't disrupt the flow for other customers . We got greeted and was again explained how it worked and how much it was. Now the place where it is located has other shops around it and so parking is a tight and well uncomfortable to maneuver around. The owner offered to move the car and park it which was great because there were other cars around there and I did it I would have been driving an inch at a time . The service was smooth and I was informed every step of the way . I've gone to other smog places before and they are usually quiet and just assume you don't care what's happening. so it was nice to be in the loop. They also offered DMV services which was convenient for me and my husband . Full disclosure I intended to write this review whether my car passed or not . Those are the things the business cannot control. Just like any other business or service it may or may not go in your favor specially if necessary steps are not taken . Just wanted to come on here and say again guys please don't spend your money here!!!!! I left an honest review the first time, and after my 2nd experience I again left a review obviously upset after my time here. He is extremely sexist and only speaks to men with good attitudes if you have to deal with him more than once! I would just like to let you know the way you respond to customers is absolutely absurd and disrespectful and very unprofessional. I'm not sure if you want a cookie or something for knowing hen I passed smog after you failed me simply because you wanted more money from me, but since you're so close, you should also know that he gave me all the information I need to report you to the car bureau. Great service! It is right off the main road of Van Nuys Blvd. I came in on 3/16/26 to get my smog test done and was in and out fairly quickly. It's a tight lot, so thankful that the gentleman was about to pull in/out my car from the smog test location. You can also renew your DMV registration here for a fee of $45 and they would get you your stickers within 24 hours. Would come here again! read more

I would give half a star if I could. The service here was rushed, rude, not to mention overcrowded. No one told me how much my service would cost before they took my car back for a smog check, I had to specifically ask. The guys working here were extremely condescending to me as I was trying to squeeze my car into their ridiculously tight parking lot. The man taking my car in for the smog was saying that he wished he was moving my car but "I'm going great". I drive this car every day. I know how to drive MY car. If I needed someone else to park it for me every time, how would I get through the day? What I don't need is two different people directing me into a spot. Great Freindly staff specilly young lady did my smog test unter her boss supervision. They check everythink of car make sure by law. Its fast and offer coffe, tea, respectfull to all people even some crazy drivers come they always with respect. Avoid this crook at all cost. I was referred here by my mechanic after he told me that there were no issues with my car and that it would pass. After I paid for the test I was told that there was a slight problem with the emission and to use an additive and then it would pass. I returned and was told that there is an evac issue.
