Great place to get a smog test there very efficient.I went to RPM for yrs before before they changed technicians. Not as friendly anymore !

You wanna wait 2 hrs for a test. Have fun. Better get there as soon as they open. Or else you waiting. Oh you can't leave during those 2 hrs. Or gotta go to the back of the line. Went there 2 different occasions before they even smogged my car. Both times turned away cuz the "technician had to leave early" moved close by thats why I went there. Price was coo. $60. But tbh, id rather travel further n pay more than to come back to this spot. read more

This was not made clear to me (their advertising says STAR certified) but they advised another customer who had to go to a different shop. Great price. Fast quick smog. They were responsive and nice over the phone. We had our RV smogged at Smog Pros. They did not give me the run around and were very straightforward. It was $100 for the smog and that included the certificate. There is an indoor and outdoor waiting area but we were barely there for 10 minutes. Nice folks. This place is awesome, Fast Clean Simple. I had a 1994 Toyota Previa that failed smog and then my buddy Allan recommended Smog Pro. The guy named Ou (yeah thats all) took care of us. He rev'd up the car for a few minutes and blew out any smog soot, crud that was piling up in the vehicle and the car passed. Other shops were asking $150 - $200 buck to look at it. The third and fourth car we took there , we were in and out in 15 minutes. Plus he gave us a really good discount that was 30% lower than his posted prices. This shop is open early, open weekends and quick/helpful. My car is pretty decently modified but he let me know right off the bat what I would need to swap out, hide, or fix BEFORE spending his time and my money smoging the car just to fail. smogged my 2013 class C RV and also my 2013 chevrolet tahoe. since they're OBD-II, it's more to check the system passes as well as the visual inspection. very fast in and out. the RV cost $100 while the SUV was $50. nice :) read more

This place is lazy. It passed the test but FAILED the inspection because the tech was too lazy to get a mirror, a flashlight and a jack to find the aftermarket EO #. So if you have an aftermarket catalytic converter, don't go here!! They have no problem taking your money but a hard time working. read more

I noticed there weren't many recent reviews of this smog place, so I decided to leave one. I've taken my few vehicles here over the last few years, because I live just a few blocks away, and once they get to my vehicle they are relatively quick in testing. I don't bother with the many other smog places that offer discount coupons, because they usually charge extra for vans and trucks anyway, so I just go here and pay the $50, get it smogged, and go home satisfied. Bring a beverage, your cell phone, and a little patience, and you'll be alright. read more

Finally, a smog shop that knows what they are doing. Failed smog after 12 years of owning my car :( The previous place, where my car failed, told me to put some cleaner and yada yada this and that. Failed. The guy just shrugged his shoulders and didn't care because he got paid and that was it. Bay area for ya :p Went to another place to get it check and didn't give me any clear answers. Anways, drove to Sacramento and found this place. I had my cat replaced and pre tested to make sure. Drove ALOT of miles and smogged the next day. PASSED. They actually took the time to find out whats wrong with my car instead of just taking my money and sending me out my way. Good helpful advice, fair prices, and they finish on time. Very good place to take your vehicle for hassle free SMOG's. All my cars and my relatives cars are serviced here. I was over charged elsewhere to smog my 80's cars. This place I recommend over any place in Sacramento. The service was good and quick but the facility on Kiessig is aparently mask-optional. The tech did not wear one and had no problem getting up close to some customers. When I complained about customers not wearing masks, the gal behind the counter said they did not mind because they wear theirs. What about the comfort and safety of the other customers like me? I had to sanitize my car before leaving the lot. If not for that lack of concern or training, I would have given them a 5-star. read more
